When asked about his fee he stated a range of $275 to $350 depending upon the number of "schedules " filed. I met with him on June 29th. I heard nothing until July 15th. I then learned my fee would be $462!! Our tax returns are very simple and I have never paid more than $300. Apparently they make it a practice to automatically add an $80 fee for an "audit protection plan" which was never discussed and never agreed to. Honestly, I have never heard of such a fee. I demanded that be removed and ended up paying $383. This company regularly advertises in local papers. My suspicion is that they constantly need new customers because they are not interested in building a lasting relationship with repeat customers.
