The only non specialty items were crackers and sodas as far as I could tell. There's a lot of stuff here and a lot of people buying it at any given time. My favorite was in the deli. Pete's jalapeno pickles. Now Yelpers know I don't like anything spicy. This just looked so damn good and it was bread and butter style. A great flavor. Super big slices too. I love the Grass Fed and Finished component of the steak but will be looking for other distributors that don't under pack their items. After weighing a few dozen steaks with two kitchen scales, there is a consistent theme of under delivery from this company.

If you're looking to compete with Popeye's gun show, you need to sail on over to Red Wing Olive Oils and Vinegars to get yourself some oils for all the spinach you'll be eating. Even if you aren't normally a salad person, the deliciously infused oils here might just change your mind. This shop is the sister store to Pass Christian Olive Oils and Vinegars near New Orleans, and they also have location in Northfield, MN. Their award-winning olive oils and balsamic vinegars are sourced from Modena, Italy, so you know you're getting a great product. They have tons of varieties for you to taste test, so it's difficult to narrow down what to buy. If I were cold-pressed to pick a few, my favorites would all be non-balsamic oils: Tuscan Herb-infused EVOO, Basil- infused EOO, and Herbs De Provence-infused EVOO. Vinegar in general leaves me...as Popeye would say, "disgustipated", so I can't comment on those varieties. I recently tried the Jalapeno-infused EVOO for the first time, and it blew me away. I can't imagine eating "me spinach" without it now! The oils are reasonably priced: $7.00 for a 60Mil bottle; $12 for a 200 Mil bottle, and $20 for a 375 Mil bottle. I'm not an olive oil sommelier-- "I yam what I yam, an' that's all I yam." But in my opinion, it is worth it to visit this shop to taste test and stock up on some delicious oils for your pantry. They have basic items like eggs, milk, bread, cheese, that kind of stuff, but really, the only reason I go here for is the deli. They have this salmon spread that tastes good on sandwiches, but the one thing I absolutely love here is...THE POTATO SALAD. Oh. My. God. It's. Amazing. They have THE best potato salad I've ever tried in my life. I always come back here and get potato salad and salmon spread. IT'S SO GOOD! :-)

Well this week, I tried the steak sandwich, and sorry to say the meat was totally overcooked and as tough as the sole of a workboot. I took it home so that i could put it on a proper plate & use a knife & fork, but it was still a lot of work. Nice smoky flavor, though. The sprog tried a hot dog, and said it might be the best one she's ever had. I don't know what was done to my poor steak, but we all remember those "One-Hour Martinizing" places, I'm jes' sayin'. However, I'm willing to put this one incident aside and will be going there again. They have plenty of other tempting items. I'm getting the hot dog next time lol. For everyday meals, we are fans of their meats--especially the beef medallions and the stuffed chicken breasts.
