I tried to give her the packet of information from the nursing home that included a list of medication, medical power of attorney and she refused to take them, insisting I give them to the nurse. The nurse did not know why they weren't given to the receptionist. The medical POA was never put into the file, either was the dementia diagnosis that we don't mention in front of my father. Dealing with the receptionist's rudeness on the phone is just uncalled for. Be aware you will just get a call center if you try to call and ask questions about past or upcoming appointments and my call wait time averaged over 25 minutes to actually confirm the real time of an appointment- the automated system confirmed one time by text and a different time by phone call. The call center has no idea which is your actual appointment time so they have to transfer you to the receptionist. I asked for the office manager to call me to discuss the confusion and was assured by the receptionist they would not call. This is not a way to run a professional office. I hate to give a doctor's office a bad review when the medical staff are not the problem but this was the most ridiculous issue to deal with and has a very easy fix.

With a location in Bloomington and much closer, I thought I would switch as the location's schedule freed up. Nope! After meeting with Veneda Vann, I knew I was in great hands and, of course, wouldn't change. Veneda handled the couple of items I came in for expertly. (I hate that freeze dragon thing she has, but I must say, the results were absolutely perfect.) I went back for my follow-up this week and she got me with the cold dragon again, but I am so so so very happy having her as skin expert. The Medi-spa in Bloomington they can refer to, and the dermatological issues you may have would be expertly assessed and handled by the team here in Whitehall. What else can I say? These people are genuinely great folks. Everyone was friendly and seemed happy to be at the office, which makes a big difference to the overall vibe of a place like this where they may be flaying you alive and using that ice zombie Vaserion-like freeze thing. The Indpls office staff (at least the ones who I've come across over the phone and a few in person) could've gotten this review one star. As of this moment (and after a winter storm) my appointment yesterday was missed as the office was unexpectedly closed and remains closed today. For context - when confirming my appt on Friday I asked the young lady did she think the weather might pose an issue for my upcoming appt. I was taken aback when her response was - I DIDN'T CALL YOU ABOUT THE WEATHER. To which I had to school the rude tot with HAVE YOU LOOKED AT THE WEATHER forecast? It's supposed to be bad out! Another dermatology clinic is the same way.I don't even know if that other one I went to has a dermatologist. Look into whether the dermatologist business you're going has an actual dermatologist who has fulfilled all the education requirements and residency requirements. I don't know how they're allowed to claim "DERMATOLOGY", but they do. Would therefore rate a ZERO if that option existed. My one experience was below par.
