    Large floral stand. Not full as pictured in brochure and already wilting the day of delivery

    I ordered flowers from their bouquet in person for my dad's funeral. The flowers were over $750 and we picked very specifically from their provided order book. Sadly the flowers were delayed and we had no communication from the florist. We called multiple times to check on the delivery of the flowers we ordered. 30 minutes after they were suppose to arrive we finally heard back that they were delayed and would be there. They finally got there and they were setting up flowers while all the guests were sitting in the church. The flowers looked about 50% full of what they showed in the brochure. A majority of the flowers died within 48 hours and were already wilting when we received them st the start of the funeral. We called and asked what they were able to do to help with the disaster of an experience they provided with the only funeral we would have for our dad. They offered no explanation and no discount/refund of any kind. Steer clear of this place. The new ownership isn't near the quality it was before. Run fast to another floral shop. I have included photos so you can see. These were like the bargain mart version of the flowers they show in their brochure.

    Overall, the buying experience was great. It was easy to pick flowers, set up a delivery date and time, etc. There were plenty of options for me to look through for my wife's 50th birthday. Communication leading up to the delivery of flowers was great, and the flowers were delivered on time, and they were absolutely beautiful the day they arrived. Unfortunately, the left side of the bouquet started dying after just 48 hours. The yellow roses, the orange rose, and the alstroemeria all were drooped over and dying. When a portion of the bouquet is dead or dying, it taints the rest of the bouquet that I spent almost $200 for. It was just disappointing. I sent a note to Bloom Bar & Co, but never even got the courtesy of a response.

    We wanted to give local businesses our business for our wedding. I'm giving Stephanie 1 star because I did not get the bridal bouquet that I imagined for my wedding day. I specifically asked for a bouquet that would've included a cascade of greenery, and something that I thought would be light and airy. Mind you I gave her a picture of what I wanted. Instead I received a bundle of flowers. My heart sank when they were delivered and we didn't have time to make any changes. I received a mere $20 credit for the most important floral arrangement in our order. She certainly did not bring my vision to reality and there was a severe lack of personal attention to my order given I showed her exactly what I wanted. Any bride that envisions certain things for her wedding understands. I refused to let it ruin our day, but that isn't the point. I also gave her a picture of the arrangement for the cake, and I received a vase with a few flowers but again, not the greenery that was shown. It was a VERY simple design and even that was botched. I wish I had read the reviews on yelp prior to giving her my business since they more accurately reflect the experience we had. The reviews on google were much better. Our order was small and included 3 boutonnieres and a corsage so it shouldn't have been overwhelming. We DO NOT recommend this business.

    I had a micro wedding in Colorado Springs on 9.23.21. Since we had such a small floral order - 2 centerpieces, 1 large bridal bouquet, loose stems for photography, loose stems for the wedding cake, 3 boutonnieres and 3 pinned corsages for the mother's - I had two people pick up our florals from Bloom Bar & Co the morning of the wedding. Unbeknownst to me until much later, Bloom Bar gave these individuals a different brides flowers. These flowers were then taken to my cake decorator to be placed on my wedding cake. Once I noticed the florals were wrong at 1 PM, I immediately picked up the phone to call Stephanie at Bloom Bar. She advised that she wasn't sure what was given to me and that she didn't know where my flowers were actually located. While she was able to scramble to give me something that resembled the theme I was going for, I'm still incredibly disappointed in what occurred. The driver who came out to deliver the correct florals only brought the two centerpieces and the bridal bouquet. We were not given corrected flowers for the cake and no loose stems for the photographer. At that point, the photographer was finished capturing the detail shots anyways and myself and the groom were leaving for our first look, so our photographer was also unable to capture any shots of my bouquet with the details. We also just had to keep some of the boutonnieres and corsages (which were wrist and not pinned ones as I requested) from the other order. Thankfully these were white, but they didn't match the original floral request. In addition, since they didn't bring any florals to correct the cake, I had yellow flowers on my cake for all photos when my theme was white, blush and burgundy. I also paid $225 for my bridal bouquet alone. I repeatedly explained that since I wasn't doing a lot of floral I wanted to ensure that my bouquet was large and extravagant. Stephanie explained that the cost would be $225 to do that - which I was fine with. However, what I received was quite underwhelming in size compared to the inspiration photo I provided and our prior conversation. After the event, I never received any follow up or apology from Stephanie or her team at Bloom Bar & Co. I have reached out to her on 09.28.21 and have yet to receive a response.

    I'm always nervous about ordering flowers. There have been so many embarrassing moments with other businesses where recipients get an arrangement vastly different from the photos and definitely lacking in quality for the price. I'm glad I found this place and I think it will become my go-to flower service. The fact that they sent me a snap of the actual flowers before they delivered blew my mind. I loved not being in the dark about the final product. And even better, it looked pretty similar to the original website photo. It's crazy to me how often that doesn't happen in the flower world. Happy buyer, happy recipient. I'd recommend them for sure.

    Good morning, It's with great hesitation I'm writing this review. I had hoped you would have called me back. I'm new to the area and looked in Yelp to locate a good local florist. I called last week, spoke with a very nice lady. She understood my requirements for a Mother's Day arrangement. I was very specific and she even read them back to me.... No roses, no babies breath and not a typical vase, be creative. I ensured she understood the delivery instructions in which she said she put on the ticket. When you get to my house, there's a gate. Call or text me and I'll come up and receive them. Once again, she read the instructions back to me. The deliver was set for Friday.... Friday afternoon I called and left you a voicemail, asking where my flowers were and when to expect delivery. You NEVER called me back. My son was outside doing some work in the yard on Saturday when my neighbor, whom I'm not familiar with came home and proceeded to tell him she had my flower delivery.... She informed my son that the deliver driver didn't know how to access my gate. Looks like there's something wrong in your process.... You failed to follow simple instructions and didn't deliver my flowers on time. Moreover, you didn't ensure I received them.... I wish I could say i was done here, however, I'm not. You also didn't follow the other instructions which were clearly laid out and were recited back to me.... No roses. No babies breath and not a typical vase.... Guess what I walked over to my neighbors house and picked up??? A typical vase with roses in it... I'm not sure what broke down in your process... communication, lack of desire to ensure your customer requests are met or you were so overwhelmed with business, you forgot the follow-through and couldn't wait for a day off. Anyone reading this... feel free to let me know a good florist in the Colorado Springs, Monument, Black Forrest area... I'm still looking and desire one.

    Dead flowers pulled from arrangement three days after delivery.

    $75 RIP OFF. If you're ordering flowers from this place, don't expect to get what you ask for or pay for. This place ripped off my Momma. She paid for a large boquete of lilies, specifically ordered for my birthday. Instead, I received a dinky arrangement of carnations, daisies, wilting sunflowers and roses that were dead by the second day. I've tried multiple times to call, even left my number but no one ever called me back. P. S. Negative Reviews on their website can be deleted. Don't believe what you see there. This place shouldn't be in business. Go anywhere else.

Yes!!…read more I'm in California and my niece is in beautiful Colorado Springs, so I took a look at trusty Yelp to find a florist with nice reviews and online order capabilities. Tada! My Floral Shop. Glad I stumbled on them! Unfortunately, I had a really hard time with their website and was unable to actually place an online order, but I called the shop and the gentleman who answered the phone was very friendly, helpful, and kind. I was able to order exactly what I wanted, complete with a purple butterfly stuck in the arrangement and a grey kitty by it's side. I ordered at 11:30 and they were delivered before 5:00 that night, perfect! The look on my niece's face made it all worth it! She loved her first day of school and the flowers were a very nice cherry on top. Her mom said they were really fresh and a perfect ending to her perfect day. I will definitely order from My Floral Shop again! I always have reasons to order arrangements in The Springs... plus her little sister will be starting kindergarten soon too! Reasonably priced and so happy they were able to deliver same day and at a decent hour! The arrangement was even nicer looking than the picture on the website too! I've never had that great of an experience with large national companies. Local is always the way to go... if you are looking for a friendly, reasonable and fresh florist, here's the spot!! Thank you!!!!
