This little florist shop did an incredible job fulfilling last minute orders for my mother's funeral. Not only were the prices incredibly fair, the service was phenomenal and the flowers were beautiful. I included pictures of 2 arrangements that we picked out and one that someone else ordered and was delivered for us well before our service started. The pictures of the wreaths online didn't do justice to how gorgeous these arrangements were. We got exactly what we wanted and what was pictured, only 10 times more pretty in person. I was very impressed and very grateful they made things so easy and effortless for us during such an emotionally stressful time. My mother would have loved the flowers and they filled our home with joy and happiness after the service was over for days. read more

I don't understand the negative reviews. I called to order flowers for my granddaughter and Carol could not have been more friendly and helpful. I asked if it was possible to have the flowers delivered the same day and it was not a problem. I gave her a price range including delivery and tip and my granddaughter received a fabulous arrangement within hours. I live out-of-town and have used Security Florist before and will continue to use them for my floral needs. read more

Rudest people I've ever met. I have no idea how they stay in business. They took our order for our wedding bouquet weeks ahead of time and then a couple of days before we checked in and they had no idea what we were talking about and argued about the price. Then on the day of the wedding we showed up at the exact time they said and they go 'oh, can you come back in like an hour and a half?' Then the employee was completely out of line in the way she spoke to us. Never deal with these crooks. They're arrangement was complete garbage anyway. read more

Although ordered early, poorly assembled bouquets were supplied, NOT on time, for the wedding, NOT as ordered. Family had to buy more flowers and rearrange them, even wrapping the stems with ribbon. They looked lovely after the remodel, no thanks to Security Florist. Bride received rude service as well, I'm told. read more

In the florist's defence .....I stopped into thier store last minute and unannounced so being a small buisness I understand that they probably didn't have a large amount or quality of flowers on hand. yet still given this fact I was very disappointed with my experience there. I had come to the shop last minute to grab some flowers for a music teacher I chose the shop because I wanted to support a small business in my community but in hindsight I truly wish I would have just gone elsewhere. When I arrived the florist was nice enough and I let her know that I only had a small amount of money still wanted to get some flowers for a teacher that was having a performance night. she said that she would set me up with something nice. I I had thought because it was going to befor a school that was in the area that the local business would take care of me well unfortunately that was not the case. As I was looking around everything was very dusty and the items that were supposed to be new and for sale did not look like something that was new. I went into the back area looking around at the silk arrangements and other things and I saw multiple places where the dog had to use the restroom 1 & 2 in the store. I was very grossed out and also very uncomfortable so I did not say anything to the store owner I wasn't sure what to say...... how do you tell a store owner that in their place of business there is dog meses all around. the smell wasn't overly bad but once you hit the back room the smell hit too. When I received the arrangement it was only one of a very cheap flower and some dried out baby's breath. I should have said something about my disappointment but at that point I was already running late and had no more money to go somewhere else. I would not have called but after speaking to someone else about my experience they said that I should call and give a heads up about the dog mess because the owners probably were not aware. When I called to speak to the owner it was a few weeks later; they were incredibly rude and condescending. She made it out to be that it was my fault that I did not tell the person that I was unhappy with the flowers when I was there her tone and demeanor was incredibly harsh considering the circumstances. Her excuse for the dogs mess was that the dog was sick that day and they had since taken care of the problem but from what I had seen it didn't appear to be just a one day issue because there were multiple messes in different places. I was trying to be helpful about an uncomfortable situation and the person on the phone was very rude aggressive and defensive. I personally will never ever shop there again and although I usually do not write reviews signed up to write this review to hopefully spare someone else from this type of experience! read more

Placed a custom order for flowers this morning, told them 3 types of flower that my wife likes and they made a beautiful bouquet! It was also delivered by 2pm! I like to shop local, so when I wanted to send some flowers for Mother's Day, I went with this place. I chose Friday for delivery, thinking it would be better (and less crowded) than Saturday delivery. I was disappointed that the flowers were delivered to the recipient's place of business just before 5 o'clock on Friday afternoon--when the recipient had left for the day at 4:45, so she didn't even get to see the flowers until Monday, after they had sat on her desk all weekend. I never even received a phone call from the florist that the delivery would be so late in the day! I feel like I spent nearly a hundred dollars for nothing, probably won't be using this florist again. read more

This florist was contacted to provide flowers for a funeral service on a Sunday and since this florist is not open on Sundays and the funeral home is not open on the weekends (except for this service taking place on Sunday) they refused to deliver on Sunday as promised to the person who made the order but instead Myra insisted on bringing the flowers on the Friday before the Sunday service knowing that the funeral home does not have a place to refrigerate them and so they will possibly wilt in the 48 hours to wait. This florist should not have accepted the order (and money) if they could not deliver on the date that they promised to the person who ordered the flowers. More consideration for FUNERAL SERVICES would be nice! read more

I will not order anything anymore from this florist and I will advise everyone I know to do the same. I was away on business so I placed an online order for the purple passionet tulips standard version for my wife 3 business days prior to valintines day. They subsituted the item with out contacting me for consent, I guess they thought they know what my wife likes better than I.. When I called to voice my un happiness about the issue I was told the did not bother to contact me because I did not provide special instructions. I reminded them that I placed my order 4 days prior in which 3 were business days and that I was not going to except that excuse. I was placed on hold placed on hold for around ten minutes. I was advised that they will re- deliver the right item how ever they wanted the flowers back they they selected for my wife. That was fine with me. When the delivery person delivered what I ordrred my wife said these flowers don't look right. The delevery person said "hey I don't have anything to do with the arrangements I just deliver them" understandable. The arrangement they sent looked nothing like the picture not even close and their was only 6 tulips that were wilting verses 10 which comes with the standard package.. The box of candie I included with the ordrer was a small box not the medium I had ordered and paid for. This was my experience. read more

Sad to have to write this post.... I have been a loyal customer of Security Florist my entire life. My family and I have used them for every momentous occasion; birthdays, anniversary, prom, homecoming, etc. The only big thing in life I did not use them for was my wedding (That is a separate story). I recently moved to GA but continue to use them as my florist because they know me and always do a good job. However, this week I needed to send sympathy flowers to 2 separate family members. I was never told how I would know if my arrangements would be delivered so the next day I called back to check. I was informed one was delivered, and since I ordered the second arrangement a day later it would be delivered the following day. The person receiving the second arrangement works in the medical field and works odd hours. I was unable to reach her to see if she got my delivery. Later that night I called the flower shop back to maybe see if I could have the address switched to someone who I knew would be home who lived fairly close by. Instead of putting me on hold or mute to see the answer to this question, the man put the phone on the table and went to talk to another sales person where he referred to me as STUPID and and IDIOT. Now keep in mind how loyal of a customer I am and how bad my blood is boiling. At this point I still cannot find out anything about my arrangement, so I say I will call back tomorrow. I finally got a hold of my family member and she said they may have been delivered to her leasing office but she wasn't sure. I called back this morning, still fuming about being made fun of, and confront the man. Of course I not so politely confronted him. I won't deny I was angry and it showed in my voice but I did use any curse words or name calling. He denies calling me names of course and making fun of me. I told him I don't care, you have lost all future business from me and my family as well as my friends. Just give me the number of the other florist so I can check on the status of my order. What does he do???? Tell me he DOESN'T"T KNOW IT and HANGS UP ON ME! I have to have my mother call them to get the number from them. Moral to this story is don't waste your time here. It doesn't matter if you are a new customer or a returning one. There are several other flower shops to choose from that won't cal you stupid or an idiot and hang up on you. This was the first time using this florist and I had high expectations until I got there. From the outside the building looked dingy with outdated signage in the windows. However I was hopeful they were a good shop based on 4-5 cars parked in their lot. The moment I stepped inside the door, though, I was hit with the smell of pee and there was no mistaking it. That coupled with seeing four people who seemed to be there just visiting (and a small dog) and no one greeting me or acting interested in my business made me think of leaving immediately. The shop was dirty and dusty with all kinds of chachkies all over. The cooler held one arrangement and it wasn't anything I'd purchase. After looking around for a bit, an older gentleman kindly asked if I needed help and was then able to make me a small fresh arrangement within my budget that I could take with me as I was delivering it myself. I really wanted to like this place but aside from this older gentleman and the nice arrangement he made, I have nothing else positive to day. There were a couple of young ladies in short-shorts and tanks and an older lady who never came out after the "friends" left but in my opinion they were not professional in any way. A good cleaning and spiffing up of the shop as well as the employees dressing and acting more professional would go a long way. And, get rid of the dog and deodorize/sanitize the place! read more

My husband surprised me with a half dozen roses, being that we celebrate this special day every year. OH BOY, WAS I SURPRISED!!! I was shocked to see the arrangement. First of all, the stems on the roses were cut too short, the vase looked cheap, not to mention the ribbon around the vase. The greenery was facing the wrong way. It just looked ugly. I called the florist only to get a call back from the manager. I told her I wasn't happy with the arrangement and I have never received such an ugly arrangement of roses ever! I told her I wasn't calling to get my money back because I knew that wasn't going to happen anyway. I told her that I was only sharing my feelings about it and my opinion. She proceeded to tell me that my husband picked out the arrangement. So what does that mean, they couldn't have done a better job? I told her about the ribbon and she told me to take the ribbon off because it really wasn't supposed to come with the roses anyway. I can't stand to look at the sad looking arrangement, I want to throw them in the trash but my husband did pay for it. I'm emotional about it all because my husband is overseas and all he tried to do was something nice for me and all I received was a big piece of disappointment. I emailed my husband and told him to delete this florist off his phone. WON'T EVER MAKE THIS MISTAKE AGAIN! EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED :( read more
