If money is no object, this is a great place to go! It's located in a non-descript building, with parking in the back, then you walk around to the front entrance. Inside, the staff could not have been nicer. After inquiring what I was there for (a helix piercing and to re-open a lobe hole), I was lead to the counter to pick the jewelry I wanted. They have a beautiful selection of gold jewelry, and I was very tempted until I heard the cost of the few tiny pieces I liked. Upon inquiring if there was anything cheaper, I was lead to the much smaller cabinet containing the titanium jewelry. I immediately saw 2 flowers I liked, and chose them. My piercer Amber was AWESOME. Very thorough, very knowledgeable, plus she kept up a steady stream of conversation, which helped take my mind off my nervousness. She was able to re-open my existing ear lobe hole with no issues, so she only charged me for piercing the helix. After confirming placement options, she pierced it quickly, put the flat back in, and I was on my way to the register. Now let's talk pricing, shall we? The piercing was a flat fee of $50. I bought 2 tiny titanium flower earrings, one was $63 and one was $56. Weirdly, that does not include the cost of the backs of the earrings, which were $16 each! I also bought a bottle of the sterile misting spray for $12. My grand total with tax and credit card fee came to $230!! Yikes! Plus the tip I gave my piercer. I was floored at the cost, I have to be honest. Those poor, unsuspecting people getting a gold or jeweled earring.... So, while the whole experience was wonderful here, they are just too expensive for a return visit. read more

Owner doesn't not stand by the products or service. We spent over $300 at the St Pete location to get our daughter flat backed earrings with sized posts because we wanted something both comfortable and secure for her to be able to wear 24/7. We had to pay extra for them to size the posts and install even though her ears were already pierced. Unfortunately, the earrings stayed in for less than 24hrs. One earring fell out while she was playing at school. To me, it's unacceptable for a product like this to fall out of the ear during normal activity. I thought we were paying extra for it to be secure. We called Bloom as soon as we got home to let them know about the failure of the earring. They were very kind and said they would call us back after speaking with the owner. Today, we received a call letting us know that rather than replacing the earring, the owner would grant us a 20% discount on future purchases. Why would I come back here for more purchases when they don't stand by their product or service? I just don't understand. read more

This is my new piercing place, it's fantastic! I wanted to get my septum pierced for years, so I researched all the piercing places nearby and Bloom consistently came out on top. I went in with my mind made up to have Stevo pierce my septum, because he does a lot of them and they always turn out nicely (I've seen and heard horror stories of bad septum piercings, and my anxiety demanded a confident and experienced septum piercer). However, Stevo wasn't available (cue heartbreak) ... Luckily, the owner Matt took on my septum with confidence. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and completely put me at ease. Our experience at Bloom was fantastic. We initially came intending to preview the facility and possibly set appointments to come back after we had time to think about our decision but after only a few minutes we were ready to commit. Meredith was beyond patient with us (mainly me) and truly went above and beyond what you would expect. She is extremely knowledgeable and has the kind of personality that makes you feel like you're chatting with a friend. I came in with the vague idea of wanting to pierce my tragus but Meredith opened my eyes to how perfect other parts of my ears were for alternative choices. I wound up getting my helix done which I had never considered but I love how it looks. I couldn't tell you how long Meredith worked with me as I fell in love with each piece I looked at. They have an amazing selection of high-quality jewelry to choose from and the more you look, the more you love. Meredith must have pulled over a dozen different pieces for me to preview and she ever offered a clamp so I could see how the pieces would look. Steveo also assisted with looking for jewelry and helped me locate a beautiful 2mm white gold tri-bead cluster piece that has a lovely bezel set aquamarine gem. I can't wait to return when I have healed to purchase more intricate pieces. I am a coward when it comes to needles and while I had a blast looking at jewelry, I was terrified at the prospect of going through with the procedure. Meredith was so kind and helped diffuse my jitters. In terms of cleanliness, you could not ask for a better facility. They are not only taking COVID seriously but their overall standards of cleanliness are incredible. Meredith went as far as to explain and show us their sanitation processes which helped us feel at ease. Steveo did our piercings and he was phenomenal. He's incredibly patient, gentle, and kind. Despite my anxiety, I would be willing to do additional piercings with him. He mapped out locations for the piercings and allowed me to confirm placement before proceeding any further. He managed to place my new nose piercing so close to my original (closed) piercing that the jewelry hides the old hole perfectly. He was extremely thorough about prepping the skin and having me lay down while he pierced made me feel more relaxed. He was so quick I barely noticed when he was doing the actual piercing. I'm only about 12 hours out and while my helix is a bit tender, I can't even tell I had my nose done. Meredith took the time to check in on us while we were being pierced which was so thoughtful. I was recommended this place after my former piercer left her place. So I drove 40 minutes over to get my piercing. The overly rude and disrespectful front girl was so demeaning as I was asking questions I started feeling really insulted. Then she showed me $525 nose ring jewelry. Seriously? I get it's high end but WTF? It's not like Madonna is coming in here! The counter girl continued to be snarky. I love ended up buying a $45 stud for my nose and they don't even give your the backing for it. Just a stone on a peg! What a joke! Do yourself a favour, it's chic and all. FINALLY have found my new tattoo / piercing place! I'm from NY, and have a very high standard for body art, and I am so relieved to say Bloom exceeded my expectations. I got my 2nd daith piercing, and my 3rd & 4th helix piercing this past week from @pureadornments & @qualitypiercings (you are doing yourself a disservice by not looking at their work on Instagram prior to your piercing!). First off, their appointment booking process was a breeze, and the appointment reminders came in clutch. Each appointment (I had 2 separate appointments a few days apart) lasted about an hour. When I first stepped into the shop I was blown away - it is so clean and beautiful, and the selection of jewelry is stunning! From the lobby area, I definitely got the vibe of a high end specialty jeweler. About 3 different people jumped up to help me immediately, and were super helpful with opinions and helping me see how the jewelry would sit in the piercing after the fact. The actual piercing was smooth & came out perfect. I am not a fan of needles or blood & am known to pass out at the doctor's office with needles. But Liz made sure I ate before the actual piercing, and she was so great at keeping me calm and talking me through each of the piercings - I didn't pass out at all! Obviously there was a little pain, but the pain was over right away, and the jewelry was installed so fast that I didn't even have time to react. All of my piercings were marked thoroughly before-hand, and I was given the option to see the locations/angles and make changes before anything was done. Both Liz and Matt were so professional the whole time, and both were clean freaks (in a good way!) - they each washed their hands so many times I lost count, and were very detail oriented when it came to cleaning and prepping the piercing. I am confident my piercings were done perfectly - now it's just up to me to leave them alone during the healing process! Also, I had a "piercing tattoo" on my helix from a previous piercing that was done poorly & rejected. The staff at Bloom helped me pick piercings and jewelry that would cover this previous scar & help my ear look pretty again. That's ultimately what guided my decision on the helix piercings, and I am very grateful for the time Bloom gave me to make sure this was something that would improve my current situation. I have a nickel allergy, so I chose titanium jewelry for each of the piercings. I am very glad that the backs for the helix piercing are flat - the entire staff at Bloom insisted on these backs, and they are so much more comfortable in terms of healing and long-term wear. I'm not even sure if they stocked other backs for earrings - they know these are the best and made sure me, along with all other clients, only have the best...so that's that! I definitely want more piercings and tattoos in the future, and will 1000% only go back to Bloom. It is worth every penny to have the piercings done perfectly - it's your body, people! Once these bad bois heal I can't wait to go back! read more

After a much anticipated visit. I was not disappointed. The place it self is immaculate which brings a sense of comfort when it comes to piercings. The store is practically covered in beautiful jewelry. They have Rose Gold, yellow Gold, white Gold, mixed and titanium I remember correctly. The receptionist is very friendly and can help you out if unsure what to pick. I didn't even know what to choose because of the large selection. She helped me with sizing once I decided on a beautiful White Opal. Now I will say I'm terrified of needles so this was scary. I was practically shaking. I did a helix piercing and I let him suggest where to place it. Because he's the expert! He definitely made sure I was ok the whole time and while not pain-free it was over fairly quickly. Last Sunday as my wife and I were driving around St. Pete we stumbled across Bloom Body Art curious as to what we might discover inside. I had just recently pierced my eyebrow at an Orlando shop about a week ago and was really disappointed with the way it looked. I had chosen an unflattering spiked barbell and was convinced I might be stuck with it for weeks before I could change it out. Elizabeth came to my rescue and told me they could easily swap out my piece for something better so I began to browse their shop. So many customizable pieces of art, all gorgeous and so beautiful! It was hard to choose. I finalized on a kite shaped pearl colored piece attached to a much less curved barbell and Elizabeth made the swap. It was fast, painless, but most importantly, I was able to look at myself in the mirror again! I'm really happy with the service, the quality and selection of jewelry! I believe about 4 cases of Jewelry. They offer all price points of Jewelry. I must add the girls behind the counter were EXTREMELY patient! My girlfriend took forever to decide. When she finally made her jewelry choice Amber said she was going to prepare the room. My girlfriend was shown to a spotless room. I know because I was with her the entire time. The piercing was done fast and my girlfriend said it only felt like a pinch! She said Amber was great and caused absolutely no pain. I was surprised and am considering a piercing myself. I have returned to the store numerous times since my last review and the quality of customer service has gone down drastically especially after this last encounter I had there whereas my husband and myself spent a small fortune on hoop earrings. (In upward of $1700.00 in piercing jewelry during one visit) The store was busy when we were there. Some of the things we were looking for were not available which was understandable during the sale. But we had spoken with Matt(The owner)regarding another black Friday deal where as we were told that the store would now be open on Sundays for the first time. We thought was really cool. Not once were told that he would not be present when the store was open as my husband was expecting to have some work done by HIM, not the other guy. I don't even know the guys name, nor have I ever seen any of his work. But ...we both HAD seen Matt's work and my husband really liked it. Therefore it was "EXTREMELY" disappointing to find out that upon driving across town to the store on Sunday, Matt was not present. We were really disappointed because had this been the explanation when we were there before, we would not have shown up again. especially since the drive there is quite some distance. We were referred to the newer piercing guy by the girls whom were working there, but had no interest in getting any services by him. Had this person been a bit more welcoming or had some kind of customer service skills to know that at least saying hello to potential customers goes a long way.... versus looking at people in their face and turning his head. Which I perceived the behavior to be very rude and unprofessional as well. In addition to that...on a previous visit he walked out of one of the suites and was speaking to the girls at the counter while cursing very loudly, but I guess he thought that was OK because Matt was not there at that time. Just myself and a couple other customers sitting in the lounge....but I guess we didn't matter. I have not changed any of my yelp reviews to reflect such negativity, but I thought this situation was befitting because I will not represent anybody's business in a good way whom treat their customers with such discourtesy and disrespect....yet they want to make it appear if they're doing to some kind of tremendous favor for us. Or have given us such a good deal when I have yet to see "ANYTHING" that we haven't paid hefty for there. I do not mind driving across town when the product QUALITY and CUSTOMER SERVICE are both SUPERB! But....when you have a owner that wants to basically blame the customer for holding him accountable to HIS word, then I definitely have a issue with that! I will no longer recommend the shop to anyone! Unless of course, you would like to be treated disrespectfully, as if your presence doesn't matter or as if they're doing you a favor for being there. Or.....to also be privy to the unprofessional and conversations about other clients and such right there in front of you. Then be my guest! If I could give this place zero stars...I would. My first visit was a couple years ago when Matt pierced my septum and he did a fantastic job. The piercing was beautiful and he was so gentle and very professional. Great experience and never forgot how great he was! Now today I went and there to get my jewelry changed out in my nose and pick out some new rings. Meredith was behind the counter and was so super kind and helped me pick out what I was looking for. And amber was the piercer who took me in the back and changed it out for me. When I went in they were extremely welcoming, very clean and cute designed place! I ended up not needing re-pierced but gave me all the options and the prices clearly and put it in as painlessly as possible. I would recommend anyone go here! i got pierced by bridget on wednesday. it was $207 total for a vertical labret and the jewelry i picked out and saline solution. i was stoked on the jewelry and the straight piercing and good energy from my piercer. BUT after i was pierced i mentioned the bar looked too short to heal properly. she assured me it was fine. i have multiple piercings so i was really thinking it didn't look long enough. i was taking tylenol morning and night. it started healing under my lip skin because it was digging into my lip so hard. it was uncomfortable and visibly under my skin. i called and let the man working know the issue i was having and that i had mentioned at my appointment it was too short. they said they'd give me a new bar and change it if i came in. i came in and my jewelry was replaced with lower quality jewelry. i kept the top gold piece i bought so now ive got a silver ball and gold top. a mismatched set in the middle of my face. i paid $207 for quality work and had to come back four days later to get it swapped for this. it hurt then, the swap hurt and im honestly just really upset i paid $207 to now have to have this gold silver combo that i did not want. i kept the bar it was pierced with but in the mean time look goofy as hell with this set. there should ALWAYS be space with a new piercing and me vocalizing that at the time should have been good enough. i shouldn't have had to wait for it to literally be half way under my lip skin. should have got what i paid for but the replacement of a longer bar. not worth the $207 and painful four days. its much more comfortable with the new bar but again, its ugly and in the middle of my face.:( this bar was comped but again, its not the one i wanted. i asked for the same style jewelry and they said they couldn't do that but if you're gonna upcharge so much that a piercing was $195 (without saline solution) comp what your customer wanted because you messed up. read more
