It had good reviews on Yelp, so I decided to give it a go. And I'm glad I did. Everything was excellent. The outdoor seating was nice, the workers were friendly, my waitress Jae was very attentive, and most importantly, the fish sandwich was top notch. It certainly seemed to be freshly made and not frozen. I ordered fries on the side in addition to Cole slaw. The slaw was nice and creamy. While I generally don't like battered fries, these were pretty tasty. The only slight negative was the cost. At almost $30 for my sandwich plus a beer, it seemed a little pricey to me. But sometimes you have to pay for quality. I will return.

Next, we asked our wonderful server Joyce for two mushroom/swiss burgers served with fries. Before leaving, Brandon, chef and owner stopped by to say hello. Such a friendly place with a wonderful menu. We'll be definitely back. Thank you Joyce and Brandon!

Here's the real deal: OOTF is casual fine dining, this place isn't - but if you are considering OOTF, you should consider this place too. It's a no frills, fake flowers on your table, type of joint. They turn out pretty good food, you don't need a reservation, and you aren't getting charged a cork fee because they haz all liquor. If you want something with the pretense of fine dining, or if you have trouble admitting that a well executed sammich is always better than "fine dining" executed with mere mediocrity, just go to OOTF and don't be mad at me for leading you here. I really like their potato chips. I really like their salad bar (which is awesome for a quick, light lunch). I like their sandwiches - and am partial to their version on a club and one called the birdie. I've never ordered an entree, but have attended a special event there that had a buffet -- they had solid offerings (I don't think those appear on the menu, so no point in talking about them too much -- but everything was cooked properly and nothing was over cooked, which hard for a buffet set up to pull off). The only thing I don't like is the cheesey broccoli soup - which is an unnatural color of orange that I remember from my mother's "homemade" mac and cheese, which contained so much Velvetta. Anyway, check this place out.

Do yourself a favor, and just get a tall cold Duquesne and one of their hamburgers. The burgs are hand packed, the old school way and served with pub chips. It will take you back in time! Oh, and the prices aren't bad either. Just look for the little Duke sitting on top of the beer tap!

A restaurant dedicated to tapas with flavor bombs and hidden gems all throughout the menu!!…read more From the street The Headkeeper looks like an absolute dive. Busy intersection, no windows, and a front door that doesn't work... but don't let that fool you. Entering through the patio entrance, the outdoor seating is an oasis somehow perfectly separated from the busyness just beyond the sidewalk. We opted to sit inside on a humid day.. simple but fitting! The menu is only tapas, but the small plates don't contain small flavors!! We love to split tapas with friends, so we ordered a table load and went all in. We selected: - Street Corn Dip - no notes. Gooey, well seasoned, and plenty of fresh corn! Abundance of chips, more than enough! - Bruschetta Flatbread - every available inch covered in fresh tomato, lacking in the balsamic glaze, but still a fresh, refreshing bite. Honestly, this is a huge tapas, 8 pieces and easily a meal on its own - Headkeeper Toothpicks - THESE ARE THE SHOWSTOPPER!! Clever concept, perfectly executed! Crispy tortilla wraps loaded with chicken, peppers, onions, and gouda. And DOUBLE dips!! - Banh Mi Eggrolls - large tapa with a big eggroll for all four of us. Crammed full of toppings and well seasoned - Balsamic Marinated Grilled Vegetables - great variety, one of each veggie, but a little too much oily sauce (Pro Tip - we cut these up and put them on top of the bruschetta - perfectly paired!!) - Cauliflower - large portion, almost half of a head of cauliflower, dripping with truffle oil, but soooo tender to eat - Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes - only 2, but packed with crab and delicious sweet-chili & coconut-lime sauce! - Lo Mein Bowl - another tapa that could be a full meal, tender beef, but the seasoning was just off for us And of course... DESSERT! Thankful to go on a double date where one from each couple wants to split desserts too. Why not try the best part of the menu too? Vanilla Crème Brulee - a perfect sweet blend of vanilla and custard with a scrumptious layer of brûlée Strawberry Scooter Crunch Cheesecake - decadent swirls of strawberry through the cheesecake and a crisp layer of scooter crunch all over Tell you what! The sauces and pairings show how ingenious this culinary team is... and looking at reviews, the menu rotates and I'll have to try some of the fun items that I've seen from other seasons!

They are always very friendly and attentive and willing to give their suggestions and opinions about what they think you might like. They will also give you samples so you can pick which pint you ultimately want to purchase. The space itself is long and narrow. There are a few low top tables in the front, high top stools at the bar and high top round tables in the center. They have a few staple beers that are apparently always on tap along with several seasonal varieties. My favorite was one of their fall brews. It was packed with flavor and I was sad when they were out of it. But I've never been disappointed by anything I've tried here. Staff is always friendly and ready to offer recommendations. There is street parking right in front of the space, but there is also a surface lot about a minute walk away. Highly recommend a visit here!

I found this microbrewery online and decided to give it a try. Waze tried to take me right past it and I just happened to catch it out of the corner of my eye. There is only street parking which is fine because there were plenty of spots. The place seems to have a real small town feel where most of the patrons all knew each other or at least the bartender knew all of them. Everyone from patrons to staff was very friendly. It's a nice little spot inside. I was surprised that they had a pretty big tap list for such a small spot. They seemed to have beers of most styles in tap to fit anyone's palate. I ordered two hazy IPA's and they were decent. If I'm ever back in the area I would probably stop again.
