DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM BLOOM!!! What an AWFUL experience! I will never order from Bloom again. I should have paid attention to the reviews before trusting Bloom with my flower order for my mom's birthday! I went to their website this morning to order a same day flower delivery for my mom's birthday, as the gifts that we sent got delayed due to the airlines and weather. I wanted to make sure that she got something special on her birthday and chose to trust Bloom Florist with my order. What a HUGE mistake! I placed the order at 8:31am as the website said that any order placed before noon would be guaranteed for same day delivery (see the picture below). I spent over $150 on an arrangement plus delivery, and made sure to leave a good tip on top of that for the driver. At 1:30pm I received an email from Bloom saying that my order had been canceled due to them being out of the flowers that I ordered directly from their website. I immediately called and spoke with Kristy who informed me that not only was she out of the flowers that I ordered, but that she didn't have anything else that she could substitute as a replacement! When I asked her what she could do to make this right, she basically responded by saying that I could call another place (at 1:30pm on a Sunday!), or have the flowers delivered another day.... Ummm.... I ordered the delivery for today as TODAY is my mom's birthday... not Tuesday, or next week... TODAY! She then went on to say that she wouldn't have fulfilled the order anyway since she didn't see the order until noon.... But I have an email confirmation from Bloom from 8:31am! If you need flowers or gifts, DO NOT order from Bloom... you will be disappointed, frustrated, and left scrambling trying to find another option when they inevitably cancel your order. Thankfully Hyannis Country Garden is coming through for me in a HUGE way and they are going to make sure that my mom gets something special today, even though I called them at almost 2pm on. Sunday! My daughter sent me flowers for my birthday. I sent her a picture along with my thank you. She called horrified because it was not what she ordered. That was on Wednesday. I assured her they were lovely. On Thursday, the hydrangeas were dropping and some roses were as well, despite my giving water. By Friday they were worse. I called Blooms to express dissatisfaction, the voice mail was full, no email, and no brick and mortar store. I called several more times to let them know of the situation, voice mail still full. Really sad about the flowers, I try to support and recommend local merchants over chains since I find they are more willing to "go the extra mile". read more

I ordered a basket arrangement suitable as a centerpiece on a dining room table. My daughter and her family did not receive what I ordered! They got a tall mixed bouquet in a glass vase...which I did not want! I will not be ordering my floral gifts from Blooms in the future. Very disappointed. read more

Find Another Florist!!!! Terrible Customer Service!!!!!! Card charged and delivery never made !!!! If I could give negative stars I would!!!!! Shame on me for not reading all of these reviews ahead of time. Unfortunately we were grieving and used the closest florist to the funeral home. After reading all of the reviews it appears taking payment and not providing a service is a regular pattern for Bloom. Order placed on line 6/6 for a $60 plant for a funeral on 6/11 only 2.1 miles away from the flower shop and was charged $20 for a delivery fee. We called the florist after we got to the service and saw the plant was never delivered. Florist was rude and condescending to us from the start. She claimed "this was not her problem and what did we expect her to do about it". Through multiple texts the next day she claimed that the purchase was declined by her third party billing service because the purchase was only $60 and not enough for delivery and she never received the order. A call to the third party revealed that the order was not in fact cancelled by them and they confirmed that the order and payment was accepted by Bloom on 6/6 and should have been fulfilled. Bloom claimed that the amount of the product purchased had to be at least $67 for a delivery and that it was stated on their website. The third party explained that the disclaimer of $67 minimum was in very small print and unreasonable to believe a customer would have seen it. It addition the third party processor confirmed that Bloom told them that an attempt for a refund was made on 6/11 after my call and it didn't go through but the third party couldn't confirm this refund attempt was actually made. It was until after hours of texting and a call to the third party on 6/12 that an actual refund was issued. A side note - the third party biller was more than helpful throughout the entire process. A simple phone call from the florist either stating that an additional $7 of product would need to be purchased for delivery or the funeral home told us they would have picked up the plant in time for services if delivery couldn't be made. This was for a FUNERAL !!!!!! UNREAL!!!! My experience with this florist is that they are a scam. She is very difficult to deal. She is rude and condescending. She claims to be the victim and deflects blame to everyone else for any issues. Had I not gone to the services I would not have known the plant wasn't delivered. Apparently Bloom was fine with not reaching out to me and telling me she didn't make the delivery and was okay with keeping my money for services not rendered. Don't use this place. They flat out lied to my wife 4x about flowers being delivered for a death in family. They got mad that he had the audacity to die Mother's Day week. They blamed the 3rd party site that ran their website for all the issues and said "we don't sell on the internet." I was so disappointed with this florist and would not recommend them. I ordered online one day ahead of when I needed a bouquet delivered for my aunt's birthday. My card was charged, the flowers were not delivered, and when I called the day after her birthday I got an excuse, a promise to deliver them and the florist said she'd call back. None of that happened and once I finally got her on the phone again, she offered more weak excuses and a refund. Do not use this florist!!! I had a small wedding at my house and needed a bouquet and 3 centerpieces. I called the owner on Monday for the flowers to be delivered by Thursday. She told me it was short notice for a wedding, but I ordered simple white flower arrangements that were already on the flower menu . The bouquet was white roses and some greens taped together at the stems. None of these pieces were anything special. Any real florist should be able to do three small arrangements and a bouquet in 3 days, She immediately charged me $400 (got the receipt on my phone). She was supposed to deliver them by 10 Thursday morning, but I had to call multiple times to reach her. She finally delivered them by 2:30 even though she lives nearby. When I got my credit card statement there was an additional charge of $410 (never got a receipt for that charge). I called her and she just started babbling about how short notice it was for a wedding and I could tell she was it up as she went along. She told me she charged $100 for a delivery fee! I should have read the reviews. EXACTLY what everyone said happened to me. Flowers never arrived, I got a silly excuse. When deliverrd they were 100% different than the "fall flowers" I ordered. They were hardly worth $60 filled with cheap filler flowers that cost nothing. Nobody answers the phone, the voice mailbox is full. Refund is offered, but never happens and you never get in contact. How this business is still open is a mystery. It's honestly very very bad. read more

I had two awful experiences with this company. I had flowers sent to my mother on January 6 to remember my brother's passing. They never came. After I called, they then sent flowers on January 7. Half of the flowers were dead and it was a very small disappointing arrangement. My mom called to complain, they said they were going to send another, better arrangement the next day, it never came. I called two more times to get a refund and each time I was assured my card would be credited the $75. It never was. I ordered flowers for my mother's birthday specifying the exact flowers and greens I wanted. I ordered on their website and selected one of the higher price options. I received a call the next day with the woman telling me "you know we're a high end florist right?" She repeatedly told me she could not include any of the flowers or greens I had selected for the cost and nearly doubled that cost as the price for the bouquet I requested. I cancelled the order on the phone and she said she would refund me. Weirdly enough, on my mother's birthday, she received a bouquet from me with not one flower or green in it that I had requested. This is the second time that what I ordered was NOT delivered. I ordered a potted hydrangea and they delivered a yellow cut flower bouquet. The website does mention that if they don't have the item, they will deliver something comparable. But the bouquet was anything close. Two messages were left and they didn't phone back. I also emailed and got no reply. I filled out feedback on their website, and Bloom only posts positive, 5 star reviews. Today I got an email asking for my feedback. Terrible customer service. After posting our first review, Bloom refunded us just over half of the cost of our arrangement, which we appreciated.

If there were a negative star, I'd choose -10! It was very clear these people had no clue how to do what they referred to as an "upscale" arrangement. My three year old could have done what they did. Not only was the arrangement horrible, the owners were argumentative, beyond defensive and told me that I had to contact FTD if I wanted a refund!!!! Actually, it was like being in a psycho movie. One minute one of the owners would be nice and then, the same person would start whining really loudly. I was shocked by their weird behavior and totally disgusted with the arrangements and the service. Take my advice, go pick some wild flowers, toss them in a glass with clean water and you'll be doing much better than I did and for free! read more

We used this florist for two funeral arrangements with about two days notice. The flowers were gorgeous and perfect for the occasion. The arrangements were large and extremely full....beautiful color and variety combinations. Customer service was outstanding and extremely efficient. My grandmother passed and as I am halfway across the country, sending flowers was the one small thing that I could do to "be there" in some way. I looked up Blooms and placed an order through the website for a beautiful arrangement that complimented my Meme's fun-loving spirit and energy. My mom sent me a picture and I was so saddened to see what was delivered and how different the arrangement was from what I was expecting. I called the shop, courteous and open-hearted, to share how sad I was at the difference in the arrangement. Instead of offering any compassion, the person I spoke with was dismissive and justified the style choices by referring to the "third-party website" that others here have mentioned, indicating that a clause clearly states that the arrangements may look different. She continued to rationalize the differences by saying she felt she made good choices and that I got my money's worth in flowers. Five minutes in, I got an, "I'm sorry..." but of course, followed by a "but" with more justificiations. I inquired about why a phone call wasn't made to let me know about the changes and she claims that she didn't have any contact information for me. One call to the parent company later and I learned that's not accurate. The lady from the floral network was kind and sympathetic. But as you can see from some other comments, the person at the shop that I spoke with was not. I will say, the arrangements selected by my family members are beautiful but they were ordered in person. DO NOT USE THIS FLORIST!!! To make a long story short their website is a scam. They basically admitted that nothing on that site reflects anything in their shop. They use a third party vendor so don't waste your time picking an arrangement based on what you see online bc they cannot accommodate you. I wasted 35-45 minutes looking for an arrangement for mother's day, then took the time filling everything out for the website to say they cannot accommodate the arrangement I requested bc this site doesn't reflect what they have in the store so their "designers" will arrange something based on how much you're willing to pay. What does that even mean?! So basically you're sending an arrangement without knowing what it is. Then they call me to say that the $75 I was paying wasn't enough to warrant delivery. Seriously?! The workers and owner were extremely rude and disrespectful. I'm shocked that these people are still in business. So moral to the story is if you don't care what your arrangement looks like and are willing to pay a hefty amount for delivery and don't care to be treated poorly then by all means this is the place for you.
