So, I have a normal massage therapist who I love very much and I felt like I was cheating on her by seeing Bethany but I was looking for a massage/facial combo so I went ahead and made an appointment anyway.... it was SO worth it! The atmosphere in her studio is comforting and peaceful. Her massage table has a mattress pad and the softest sheets ever, so even before we started I knew I was in great hands. The massage itself was the perfect amount of pressure and time spent on my "problem" areas. I could tell she sensed right away that I keep a bulk of my tension/inflammation in my forearms. She also had all the best props- a steamer during the facial, warm pillows, hot stones, crystals, hot towels, aromatherapy sprays, oils and lotions...everything. The facial was incorporated into the massage, which was AWESOME and refreshing and kept me relaxed throughout. I still love my regular MT but think I will have to continue this affair on the side. It lasts about 1.15 hour because she will spend time massaging your limbs and shoulder area while your mask is on. From that I can tell that she is good in massage too. Bethany is also a very spiritual person, and I could feel her positive energy flowing over me each time, although i have to admit I am not this spiritual before.
