I've been here once over 4 years ago I saw Vanessa for a massage. My recent return was for a facial, my first facial! I booked The Face Treatment with red light therapy (add-on/ extra charge) with Kayla. I arrived about 10mins before my appointment. Parking can be limited on a busy day. As I entered I was greeted by Kayla she was very kind and welcoming. I signed a worksheet that asked more about my skin. Shortly after she took me to my room. The facial is a 50min session. She asked appropriate questions, listened to my skin experiences, current regime and concerns. Along with the facial and light therapy she gave me a shoulder, arms, hand and scalp massage. I was so relaxed it, it was exactly what I needed and was definitely fighting the urge to fall asleep. After my session she recommended a product that I had purchased and I've been using since. She adjusted my balance since it was my first facial and they had a discounted rate for that. Kayla also educated me on the different facials and recommended for my skin type to help achieve my skin goals. I came out of there feeling so relaxed my face was soft, glowing and it felt so elastic it was amazing! I can't wait to return! They do require a deposit when booking, so many times available but the days are limited to Tues-Thurs. I've been coming to Simply Soothing for several months now and I always walk in the door knowing that I'll feel a lot lighter when I leave. I first had a massage with Tony, see my last review. Recently I've been seeing Norma for therapeutic massages on a more regular basis. Her schedule is pretty impacted so if you can't find an appointment with her, I definitely recommend Tony. It's a simple salon with a few rooms, it's always super clean and smells great. It's a very calming space. They've always been running on time and been easy to talk to. Since going to Norma, I've had a couple of massages at other places that really put her work into perspective. If you like firm massage pressure you'll get it here.I have a neck and shoulder injury and basically carry every ounce of stress on my back, so I've been making regular visits to try and get a handle on that. She takes her work seriously, works on new skills often, and varies her technique to find out what my muscles will respond to. I loved the brow service that I got from Malissa! I needed my brows reshaped and Malissa gave me excellent advice before, during and after the process. The location is beautiful and has a very relaxing atmosphere. I was frazzled because I was a little late and had missed the huge "Simply Soothing Therapy" sign but Malissa made me feel very welcome and comfortable. They have the cutest drink bar for their customers! I'm definitely going to check out next time I'm there. The brow service was excellent. Malissa used a wipe to clean my face and oil to prep my skin. Then, she took time to analyze the shape of my face and design my eyebrow shape. She applied high quality wax that was soft and warm. After removing the wax, she cleaned up my brows with tweezers and trimmed them. Then, she applied a moisturizer to soothe the skin. It was a great experience and I highly recommend her! read more

I found the owner to be very disrespectful we came 10 min before our appt and the main door was locked because she was in a session. We were there for a facial in another room. My mother had come another time for a massage and the same thing was posted on a door but it was open and had no issue. She had a very condescending tone and said the next time,which there won't be, she expects us to wait outside until someone came out and get us. Then said that it is usually open 15min before session and we were there 10min before so. Lies. Like I said I think this will definitely be the last time we come here and I wouldn't recommend it to others. Not what I'm looking for. Although, today was different. I told Norma that I'd pay extra if my session consist of kneading instead of pressure. Stephanie said it would be no problem. Normally they would charge extra, but since we're first timers they would allow it at no extra charge. My session with Stephanie was probably the best massage I've had in a long long time. The space was clean, intimate, and quiet. My fiancé and I received full body massages from Norma and Vanessa and they were AMAZING. They don't do couple massages, but they were able to accommodate us at the same time in different rooms which we appreciated. We got there about 15 minutes early, and they saw us right away; massage was exactly 60 minutes. I have a pinched nerve in shoulder. I've been to the doctor 2 times and have gotten 3 different shots and still nothing has helped. 1 (90) min massage from Julianna and I'm on the road to recovery. I cried because it was the first time since this started (1 month ago) that I felt some relief. 1 massage didn't fix it but it definitely helped. I went back for my second massage and every time I go I feel like I'm that much closer to recovery. Julianne has such amazing knowledge and she knew exactly where to push and hold. Less than 24 hours before my massage, the owner called to let me know that Vanessa needed to reschedule. I explained how mad I was because at this point I had waited 2 months for my massage. She offered to reschedule again. Really?!?! I told her no thank you! She said the ladies rent space from her so it's not her fault. I told her how it makes her business look really bad. She refunded my money, of course. But then had the nerve to text me later saying she had an opening the next morning. I asked for a discount or free massage for all my trouble and she said no. I would never go to this place or recommend it to anyone. Poor customer service and didn't even try to make things right.
