I found this place for my husband who was against going to professional salons because he thought it was too expensive. The owner, Pratik, really knows how to cut my husband's hair the way he likes it. He has stated that Pratik takes his time to fade his hair correctly and that he's a talented professional stylist with a lot of experience. The best thing is my husband is paying less at Bloom than he was at Supercuts or Great Clips and the quality of his haircut is so much higher. I hate giving not so great reviews, but I have to explain my experience. I went there for the first time in 2023. I waited for a while since it was busy & I had no appointment, which was totally understandable. I got Rick as the person to thread my eyebrows. (I only know his name because other people in the reviews states his name with a photo.) He never introduce his self, just told me where to sit & he worked on my eyebrows. Here's the thing, he did a great job the first time. I had no complaints. Other places I go to, I look in the mirror & I would still have to request things. So props to Rick for the perfect threading. At the time, the host was there to deal with my Groupon. No problems with that. 2nd time, I got my eyebrows done there, I had a lady this time, but I didn't know her name either. I had no problem with her. She actually talked to me during the eyebrow session like you're supposed to for good customer service. She was fine & Groupon went smoothly with her, since there was no host. The thing is, I saw Rick just glancing at us talking. Like what, we not supposed to talk? *shrug* That guys is weird man. 3rd time I went there, today actually. Feb 2024. I know I keep going there, but just want to give this place some chances. Well, guess what? I was the only customer walking in, while Rick was working on someone's hair. I walked in & said, "hello." No answer from Rick. I waited for a while. (Again, no appointment.) I waited for about 10min. Rick comes over & asks me if I was April. I said no & that I had no appointment. He said to come over anyway. I told him I just needed eyebrow threading done. I sat at the chair, and right away he worked on my eyebrows. I asked him how was his day & he said fine & smiled. I just wanted to make the experience a little comfortable, because I know in the past he seemed weird. lol Again, he did a great job on my eyebrows. Props to him again for that. As soon as I said I had a Groupon, he just seemed awkward. There was no host, so he had to deal with my Groupon. I gave him a $1 tip (usually, I would give $2, but again I can't stress it enough, he is not a very customer service like person.) He makes me feel a little uncomfortable, especially when he rolled his eyes when I know I just gave $1. He never even said thank you. Be grateful! I only gave the place 3 stars and not lower, because it's a clean place & spacious. That's pretty much it. Ugh! Not coming here again. Just feels really awkward when he's around. He does an excellent job cutting and styling my hair. I have very curly hair and not everyone understands the "shrinkage " of the curls but Pratik does. Before moving to Vegas I had the same person cutting my hair for 30 years. I am very particular and when I find somebody that I think does a good job, I am extremely loyal! It's been 2 days since I had my hair done, and I'm finally ready to share the awful experience I had. I hope you take the time to read this review before you make the same mistake I did. I went in on Tuesday for a consultation from taking my hair from brown to red. Quoted $200 for everything inclusive of bleaching, hair color, hair cut and Style/blow dry. I made an appointment for that Friday with Merry. From the start it went wrong, she applied bleach starting from the roots so the ends didn't get a chance to process correctly. You get what it's called "hot roots" but I didn't think much of it since she was coloring it anyways. Then she only rinsed the bleach before applying the color which was more damaging to my hair but I was just trusting the process. While coloring my hair she had told me she didn't realize how thick my hair had even though I had come in for consultation 3 days prior. She had another spot and wanted me to return the next day but I couldn't. I told her I would wait until she colored her next client so she could finish my hair. After she finished coloring the other clients hair she came back to me to wash my color. While blowing drying my hair she says that my hair has to be dry before she cuts it, but then she tells me that it's extra $35. Which I told her she quoted me already for the blow dry included and she said no that it was only with haircut. She also said that she didn't realize how thick my hair was so she's actually already giving me a discount for the amount of color and bleach she applied to my hair. At this point I just wanted my appointment to be over with so I told her to go ahead with the blow dry. She then left me half blow dry to finish her next client, leaving me waiting for 45 mins with half blow dried hair. She then finished my blow dried and cut my hair but the color was not the color I wanted even though I came in with my extensions to match. I knew it wasn't going to be perfect but the color was in a different ballpark. I was super upset. Not to mention. There's parts in my hair that have blonde spots still in them. She said she would fix them but I do not want to go back there again. My hair feels dry and horrible. Not any point did she put any product in my hair. No heat protectant or nothing. I'm so disappointed and felt so robbed $235 later. After I have saved up for this wanted to reward myself with a good salon experience after this quarantine. I have to deal with this hair until I save up to go get it done again. But I would not be going here again. If you do decide to go to this place do not go and see Merry cause she will destroy your hair. Save yourself the time, trouble, money and the disappointing experience. read more

I feel like the nail tech didn't have much experience. The gel job was not good, took her way too long, and usually I don't mind if they take their time to do a great job, but today it was just her taking her time and did a bad one in my experience. I was lured in by so many 5 star reviews, after my experience my gut instinct is they aren't real reviews. I don't normally leave harsh reviews but in light of the results i feel I need to share. When I first arrived I did not see what others described as the conditions inside. I saw old water stained ceiling tiles, some displaced, and a tired and worn out space. The chairs have no foot rest to keep a client level in a chair and are old and uncomfortable. I booked a wash/cut/style and was assigned a stylist. I provided 2 pics of my self with the cut I wanted and said it had been about a year since my last cut. Note, not magazine pics that don't usually work on most peoples hair. She said to keep length, which I had said I wanted she could cut 1.5 in, I said I was prepared for more and we could do 3in, a curtain bang like I had shown, long layers in the back and some face framing. I was concerned with the way the layers were being cut and how much hair was coming off, but she's the pro, right? My bangs were cut wet and spit in the middle! She dried my hair, having to use an extension cord and power strip for the blow dryer, and then told me I would need to train my bangs myself! I left looking like Alfalfa! I lost at least 6 in and don't see a way to repair this except waiting for it to grow out. I've had a few days to work with my hair and it's the worst cut I've ever had. It's uneven, layers aren't cut properly don't lay correctly and are chunky and uneven. The sides are so uneven that pulling my hair up leaves on side falling down because it's shorter. The face framing wasn't cut correctly and even with serum just is fly away and staticky. I was in too much shock to say anything, paid and left. I was just going to chalk it up to trying a new place and it didn't work out. But then I read the reviews again after working with my hair and felt I needed to leave this warning. It just doesn't add up and after $55 I'm left with something blindfolded with a weed wacker could have done!It's so bad I don't want to leave the house! *** notice the response says noting about the lack of quality in the hair cut, just what is not in their control. And how would she stand in front of me to cut bangs with my feet in a separate stool? Straddle me? It was never offered to me any way. read more

She said I'd get used to and would like it. I went home and used a Walgreens product and got the platinum blonde I asked for. Came in with brows, left with uh-mazing brows. I've been to a variety of places to get my brows done. I'm always afraid to say anything else besides "just clean them up" because I don't want to look up from the chair to see pencil thin brows. But Bloom Salon and Spa not only cleaned them up, he even shaped them a little and made them look better than ever before. I've always just been "ok" with how my brows turned out, but I am floooored on how great they look now. 10/10 will always come back here.
