    Love this salon. Just had my hair colored and cut by the owner Cheree. She is amazing. I love my hair . The salon has a really relaxed family friendly vibe to it. Everyone is so friendly and very nice. Prices are reasonable and you can get pampered all day long, hair , nails, facial, teeth whitening, you name it they can get it done for you at Aspen! I'm so glad I found Cheree. I'm Definitely going to have her continue to take care of my hair for sure

    This cute little salon is located inside of a business park which could easily be missed if you didn't know it was there. I go there specifically for Kristin. She is my nail artist and she creates the most unique nail designs for a very reasonable price. There isn't anything I can ask for that she can't do. The salon is on the smaller side so the noise level is pretty low and relaxing. The music is never offensive and they have a full stocked coffee bar. I'm excited to check out some of the other services they have including their spa area!

    Great location, very cute and friendly on the inside, good parking, great prices. Every time I'm in town I come to Bre to do my hair. Can't speak more highly and would definitely recommend it. She works with my schedule and always goes the extra mile to make sure I'm comfortable and in love with my hair. My favorite part is the mini photoshoot at the end of every appointment!

    Groupon found me another gem! I've been in dire need of a haircut for months. The last time I let a professional cut my hair, she cut 6 inches off, saying that my split ends justified that length. I don't know about you, but I've never seen a split end even close to as long as the length of my pinky nail, let alone 6 inches. I was ticked. I've let my sister trim my hair, but again, she had cut off 4 inches & I was not happy. I wanted a micro trim & I wasn't about to let another lazy stylist chop all of my hair off. I've had expensive cuts & free cuts, & I can honestly say, I had one of the best hair experiences yesterday (3/2/12) at Aspen. I started by calling to make an appointment, as directed by Groupon, prior to purchase. I believe Paul answered the phone & told me that they'd honor the Groupon Now special, without me purchasing a Groupon. I scheduled my appointment for a few hours later, at 1:30 PM. At my appointment, I wasn't sure who was supposed to be working on me. The receptionist told me the girl that would work on me was finishing somebody else up & would be with me shortly. Eventually a different girl, a blonde girl (24, forgot her name) led me to the sinks for a deep condition. She was totally friendly & we had a nice chat. Afterward, she set me under a hair dryer for half an hour. My hair was very wet & it probably could have used a good squeeze because it was pretty drippy in the hair dryer. Regardless, this was not in any way a deal breaker. Afterward, Chirin told me she'd be working on my haircut. She was awesome & totally understood how I felt about not getting my hair chopped to bits. I asked for a micro trim & a few long layers. My hair tangles like nobody's business. Chirin started to brush my hair wet & it tangled! She switched brushes & told me that she wanted to cut my hair dry to be more precise because my hair was tangling . She blow dried & flat ironed it & gave me exactly what I wanted. Although she's almost 22, she'd been doing hair for 3 years & did a great job. I walked out with super shiny, soft SPLIT END free LONG hair! The Groupon deal was $20 for a conditioning treatment, cut & style. I couldn't have been more happy. I used my debit card & paid $25 (including tip.) I saw that they had a sign for $40 facials for first time clients. Because I had to be at work in an hour, I asked if I could schedule for tomorrow (3/3/12) I was told to leave my number & somebody would call me to schedule. About 45 minutes later, Cati called & scheduled me for 2:30 on 3/3/12 (I didn't know Cati was the skin care specialist.) I showed up today (3/3/12) for my appointment. I said I didn't know who I was scheduled with. Chirin was at the front desk & a man said I was probably with Julie but he had to check. I was actually with Cati, which was fine by me. A guy in the waiting room was RAVING about the service here & about Cati's facials. He told me he & his wife travel from Milwaukee to their 2nd home here in Vegas, just to get worked on at Aspen & that Cati was amazing. I've never had a facial or any spa treatment, for that matter, so I wasn't sure what to expect. It was awesome. First I was led to a little room to change into a wrap, & then had my hands dipped into lavender paraffin wax, bundled up & put under comfy blankets. The room was dark & there was nice music on as Cati examined my skin & told me I had extremely dry skin. My problem area is my chin & neck. Cati told me I was having allergic reactions to my makeup & that I needed to get something organic, preferably mineral makeup ASAP, along with some OTC eczema cream for a spot that had reacted to my foundation. She told me I needed to stop using Clinique, Covergirl & RImmel because it was causing my current reactions. She also told me that the pharmaceuticals I've taken could easily be the culprit for some of my skin issues that she told me absolutely could not have been brought on by the use of topical product. She told me I needed more vitamin B in my diet, less scrubbing & to make sure my face was free of processed makeup. Along with a zillion other helpful tips, she did some extractions on my face. I'll be honest, I wish she had done a bit more extractions on my nose, but that's neither here nor there. After 90 minutes of having my face steamed, extracted, cleaned with glycolic acid, then massaged (from my scalp to my arms!) & another mask, my treatment was over. I felt great! I was nervous when Cati said she was an independent contractor & that she took cash or check only because I had only brought my debit card. She ended up letting me use my debit card, with a $3 processing fee which brought my total to $53 for the facial (including $10 tip & fee.) I wish somebody would have mentioned her cash only policy when I scheduled as the policy wasn't the same for my hair cut the day before. I would have brought my checkbook. Regardless, I'm pretty sure that I'll be back for another facial & trim in a month.

    I've been going to Brenda for years at this salon and always come out with my hair looking fabulous! She's amazing at her craft, and very friendly! I highly recommend her for all your hair needs! You will come out looking great and not be disappointed!

    Ti's the season to give, so I gave myself a Livingsocial deal for a $20.00 gel nail manicure. Listen, there are several things I have a hard time with, "coupons" (groupons and livingsocial included) and spending money on myself right before the holidays. Alas the desire for sparkly nails overpowered my phobias of conserving funds and couponing this time. Often times utilizing a groupon or livingsocial deal you end up having to wait a while for an appointment, not this time! I was able to obtain a next-day appointment. A lunch hour later I left Aspen Salon and Day Spa with the best sparkly red nails I've ever had. (See photo for reference) Kapua was my nail specialist and she was amazing, great energy, easy to talk to and does a beautiful job. So if you are one to treat yourself often or don't get around to treating yourself enough (ahem..like me), get down to visit Kapua and the other lovely ladies of Aspen Salon and Day Spa. Super friendly, tons of services to offer and a cute set up. My sparkly red nails created a burst of temporary happiness in my world and that to me is worth the indulgence once in a while.

    AMAZING! Go see Jamie, and you will not be disappointed! She took my dull, lifeless, sad hair and turned it into Victoria's Secret hair like magic! She is a great communicator, and really got exactly what I was going for. Very professional, sweet, and talented! The salon is beautiful, and calm, and each station is divided so you really get a private feel during your experience, They didn't miss a thing, from refreshments, to hand-selecting magazines they thought I'd enjoy... and every employee had a smile and a professional attitude. I've lived here since 1999, and have been all over town looking for a salon I could call my own. I will look no further! Aspen Salon and Day Spa, and especially Jamie, are simply amazing!

    This salon & spa is the absolute best!! I go to Michael to get my hair done, Stacie for nails, and Kati for facials and I have never left unhappy or felt uncared for. It's always so clean and they always offer me a beverage (coffee, water, tea). They don't have spa chairs for pedicures but i like that 100x more because it's so individualized and they pay super close attention to you and what you need! This place is awesome and you should definitely come here for anything you need-- hair, nails, spa, etc!

In addition you have always maintained that you "did exactly as I requested." And no ma'am you did not. I wanted a natural looking, neutral toned balayage and this is not that. My hair was different colors of blonde and very warm. Yes when I was in the salon I said I loved it. After being there for several hours I was tired and ready to leave. This was not a simple "I put my hair in a pony tail and didn't like it." You charged me $500 to destroy my hair and I've had to have it redone twice to move away from the brassy mess you left my hair. NOW after having spent another $1,000 on my hair it's how I would like it to be. You're not the stylist you think you are. You should truly be ashamed. I could easily take this to small claims but I'd rather call it a loss and hopefully you improve your skills and don't do this to anyone else. Alsssooooo....the tone and demeanor you've had towards this issue that anyone can read in your reply is that it's MY FAULT and you just did what I requested....Nope, this is nothing close to what I wanted. And you leaving the salon in the middle of a service to go to your house and feed your kids is unprofessional. Take a look at the photos and let me know if anyone asking for a naturally blended balayage with a neutral blonde would be happy with this. Absolutely no one is shaming you for being a working mom. I'm sorry you took offense to that. However, leaving the salon while a client is processing is unprofessional. Using your kids as an excuse for unprofessional conduct isn't okay. I've been a working mom for 16 years. In addition I know you attempted to jab at me by saying "bouncing around stylists" and that isn't the scenario here. Since getting my hair done by you I was able to find someone highly skilled that could tackle the work you did. I'm thankful for that and for her patience. I wouldn't have even posted this review however your system sent me a text alerted me on how to book my next appointment and I found it funny. You should have taken me off your client list but I can't be surprised at your lack of attention to detail as it seems to be a pattern. If anything I said had no merit then you wouldn't be offended. ****ALSO you will never admit to your greed and lack of skill and that's okay. Unfortunately this will probably happen again with another client but hopefully next time you don't let your ego get the best of you. Also, maybe communication is a skill you should aim to improve on. I mentioned I COULD take you to small claims but honestly I rather just take the loss. So when you say "you can take me to small claims if you want." Girl, of course I can. But if you would listen instead of hearing what you want to hear it's not worth it for me. Attention to detail and communication is taught through accountability and self reflection in case you were unsure where to start. And just to be clear girly pop, I ALWAYS wanted a well blended neutral blonde balayage. Nothing about this ever changed. I know WHAT YOU SAY you're an expert in and that's why I went to you. When I chose the girl who did my hair after you I put much more effort, time and research into making sure I could protect the integrity of my hair the best I could and find someone who could do what I wanted. You don't offend me when you mention you could have gotten me there for less. It's a silly thing to say. You should have gotten me there for $500. I can and will make more money. I hope you handle situations like this better next time so someone else doesn't end up feeling as bad as I did about the way my hair. Best wishes

    If nothing else, I hope this is the only review you'll need to come here…read more For reference, before I came here my stylist would do my money peice. We would do a double bleach process, using olaplex to protect from breakage, no heat, followed by a 1:1 ratio of Matrix SPV toner and clear to get a white hair streak (think Sabrina Carpenter blonde). Out of the blue she decides to do a career change and now I'm on the hunt for a new hair stylist. Every stylist I would sit with, I'd tell them the process and products and they would agree to the service. Every time the day of our appointment came around, without fail they would say, "I'm not doing a double process I need to protect the integrity of your hair" and every single time I would leave the salon with dark yellow banding and gray toner in an attempt to cool it down and hide it. My dark Latina hair is stubborn af so a double process was always necessary. They also would use heat, something I did not want to use, with one stylist breaking my hair so bad that I had about 1 inch of hair sticking up on the front of my hair. I went 4 months slicking it down into a bun or hiding it under hairbands. I had soo many consultations (one guy was late an hour and a half to our consultation which pmo) trying to get someone to listen to me and just do what I was asking. Now let me tell you about Casie at Salon Rose. She not only listened, she delivered. Every time I asked to try a different toner combo (since they didnt use the Matrix brand) she was down for. She NEVER argued with me, talked down to me about a process I used on my hair for 2+ years, she was ALWAYS down to try new toners, and delivered on that second process (using my k18 of course to avoid breakage). On top of that, she makes the effort to talk to her boss/coworkers for advice to help me get where I wanted to be. And I respect that because she wasn't pretending like she always had the answers, and made sure I went home with what I asked for. Plus it was great seeing the teamwork environment of the salon. The biggest takeaway from my experience here is, not only do I get what I'm asking for, but I'm being listened to and validated. Having reached out to and spoke to about 8 stylists before coming here, it is such a relief finally being in a place where I'm validated. Shout out to Casie for always being kind, a great conversationalist, for listening to my needs, in doing everything to deliver.

    I was visiting family in Las Vegas and booked a last-minute appointment at Salon Rose for what was…read moreclearly confirmed in writing as "Base/Full Highlights" with Anne Norton. I selected a full head of highlights through their online booking system. When I arrived, I was informed that at this salon a "full head" consists of only 30 foils total. At the end of the consultation, Maya explained that if I wanted fuller blonde coverage, I should have booked a separate "Full Blonding" appointment instead. To be clear, I do not mind paying for quality work or premium pricing. The issue is not the cost -- it is calling 30 foils a "full head" of highlights. I have been getting highlights for years and have never encountered a salon that defines 30 foils as full coverage, especially for medium to thick hair. That number is typically considered a partial highlight at most salons. Because I was genuinely confused, I had my assistant contact 10 other salons in the Las Vegas and Henderson area to ask how they define a full head of highlights. Not one defined a full head as 30 foils. The consistent response was that 30 foils would be considered partial highlights, and a true full head involves significantly more coverage. I do want to note that the stylist who was scheduled to perform my service was not rude. However, the interaction became uncomfortable when another staff member spoke loudly about the situation in front of her own client. That felt unprofessional. The salon itself has a very neon pink, basic interior. It is not a luxury salon environment, which made the pricing structure and upsell approach feel even more surprising. What adds to the confusion is that while "Full Blonding" is listed as an option in their booking system, there is no description explaining how it differs from "Full Highlights." There is no breakdown of foil count or coverage level, so a client has no way of understanding that 30 foils is what they consider "full." If a salon chooses to structure services differently, that is completely fine -- but it should be clearly explained at booking. Clients selecting "Full Highlights" reasonably expect full coverage. I would strongly recommend clarifying foil count and service differences before scheduling here.

My appointment with Ashur was Awesome! It started with Ashur greeting me in a friendly manner and offering me another beverage. We then discussed what I liked and didn't like about my hair. What was I hoping my hair to look and feel like after my appointment? I truly felt like Ashur was an expert for short hair cuts. Throughout my appointment, Ashur explained what he was doing and why. My finished hair looked full, feminine, and stylish. It's also easy for me to replicate the style myself.
