My daughter and I came here today to get our brows sugar-waxed. Danielle is AMAZING! At 48 yo, I've only had my brows done once before -- and that was 18 years ago. My teenage daughter had plucked her own brows once, and let's just say it was the main motivation for us to go out and get it done right (once they grew back in). I love how Danielle was really down to earth. Her place is very nice, and she and her staff were very professional, but we didn't feel like we were out of place even though we were very "low-maintenance" in terms of facials, make-up and skin care. I also loved how Danielle gave us advice on how to trim and shape brows appropriately. The only "con" here is that we don't live close enough to make this our go-to place. I gifted my overworked daughter, mother of toddlers the best pedicure I could find. I requested the top of the line pedicure and was told by the person taking my reservation that it was a 75 minute experience with paraffin wax and hot rock massage. What my daughter got was less than a 30 minute pedicure, no wax, no hot rocks no massage for the same price as the top of the line pedicure. I called Bloom to ask what happened.The person answering the phone said she didn't know what was on the pedicure menu but she (unhappily) would read it to me. There was no paraffin wax, no hot rocks and only a sugar massage available. She said she that's all she could tell me. Very disappointed. read more

As a low-key person planning a pretty low-key wedding, I initially did not plan on hiring someone to do my makeup for our super small wedding. However, after talking with the wedding planner and friends, everyone said professional makeup was worth it, especially for the photos. I ended up contacting Danielle less than 3 weeks prior to the wedding and she was able to accommodate me. I was so grateful given the time crunch and because our wedding was in Sea Ranch (which some artists were unwilling to travel to) and because it was only for me (other artists would only come if there were at least 3 people getting makeup done). I don't wear a lot of makeup and have never gotten it done professionally, but as soon as I met Priya the morning of my wedding, she put me at ease and made me feel understood and then made me look beautiful.
