I wasted my $5 parking to walk around and see vendors, a pathetic petting zoo with 6 animals in a 10x10 area, that should have been free, two sad animals for the horse and pony rides (the horse and pony looked abused and not well taken care either) also in a 10x10 area and children activities that you can do in your backyard. The ambiance was not strawberry or festive, it was sad, overpriced and pathetic. We will never go again

So disappointed, especially after spending $48 for mediocre produce that no one wanted to eat. The only saving grace was that the corn was delicious and worth the almost $9 per dozen and the staff was very nice.

They're only open I believe Thursday till Sunday. We also went for the hot apple cider. You can also get their fresh apple cider filled into a gallon or half gallon bottle. Their prices are reasonable. the woman in there was so nice and if you bring your own cup, they'll fill it with hot apple cider. they have apple cider donuts and turnovers. They'll be here until December. Since it was Sunday, the Amish stores weren't open. That's what I really came in there for. Overall it's ok here. I'll be back for the cider.

The little produce market that could!…read more There aren't many reasons for me to go to the Berlin Farmer's Market, especially now that the pet store has been gone (used to get bird millet and pig ears) for about a year(?) now. This shop is most excellent. They have a TON of fruits and vegetables for really good (borderline CHEAP!) prices. My favorites are the freshly sliced pineapple (other fruits are offered too), raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, and "overly ripe" bananas for only $1.00/bag (about 10 in there!). I use these for a snack that I make with uncooked oats and chocolate chips. The very front of the store offers freshly made (healthy!) smoothies. The pineapple, carrot, kale is my favorite. So, if you don't want to get ice-cream, pizza, etc., junk fried food at the BFM, stop in here! You won't be disappointed!

I am never made to feel unwelcomed and they provide excellent service. Yesterday, I met Ted, a WONDERFUL person who helped me select the right tomatoes and peppers for my Mother-in-Law based on her requirements. He was extremely helpful, kind and totally geeky about everything plants. He even showed me pics of his harvest from last season. Thank you, Ted, for your help!!
