Both my kiddos are now in the school district and their preparation and knowledge before starting with the district was thanks to Ms. Maral's curriculum. They were taught with care, patience, understanding and discipline. Aside from caring for the children, Ms. Maral makes extended efforts to build a community for us parents. In this scary world, it comforted my heart to know my children were in a safe place with people who cared and supported them. We miss her and I can't wait to hand her over my third baby when he's ready!

When making the decision to take our son there, my husband and I visited about five or more daycares. Although we were not first-time parents, it would be our first time leaving our third child in a daycare. The minute we walked into Ms. Maral's Academy, it felt right. It was very inviting and organized. She answered all our questions and put us at ease. Bright Steps Academy has been so instrumental for my son's development and learning. He comes home singing the alphabet, the days of the week, the numbers in English and Spanish and tells stories about his daily learning. From the home-made food, healthy snacks, daily kids activities, the librarian coming in to read stories, to potty training and naps and so many more to name a few. Parents are kept informed through an app and one can see pictures of the activities happening on certain days. Ms. Maral, we are forever grateful that we found Bright Steps Academy. You have become part of our family and the hard work that you put into the Academy does not go unnoticed. We wish you continued success and may God bless you, your family and Bright Steps Academy

We viewed a few places and decided to hold off because none of them seemed like the right fit. We started looking again closer to her first birthday and found CLIC. Mrs Alexis was super responsive and offered for us to come take a tour. As soon as we stepped inside, I immediately had a sigh of relief. My daughter was playing and even felt comfortable letting Mrs Alexis hold her. She didn't rush us through the tour and answered every question we had. As soon as we left, my husband and I both looked at each other and felt this is it. When we drop her off now, it feels like leaving her with family. I know she's safe, taken care of and learning a lot! She is and has always been a contact napper. The fact that they were able to get her to sleep in a play pen on her own says a lot!

Clic provides structured care for infants and toddlers, and they allow the children to tap into their natural exploration to help develop and reach those crucial infant/toddler milestones. Most importantly, the students enrolled are diverse in every sense, yet they are all welcomed with the same loving smiles. We are really grateful we were able to enroll our daughter with Clic Montessori.

If you're here as a parent looking for great care for your child-- I see you! It's such a process and can be such an emotional decision. Nido came highly recommended to us by neighbors and our eldest's school. Our neighbor recommended Nido to us and said, quote, "we love it." And when the teachers from our eldest son school (Meher Montessori) also recommended Nido, we knew we had to check it out. What seemed too good to be true at first, is absolutely fact, after having been with Nido over a year now -- Maria and James truly truly care for the children and their families. We had our eldest at home in family care for over 3 years so sending our second to school at 5.5 months was jarring. Maria and James were so patient and supportive with the transition. They really just care so much for their Nido community of families. The authentic Montessori environment was also an adjustment for us. We have grown to respect it and see such benefits in the methodology with both our children. Maria and James are truly gems -- we are so thankful to have them close and for the care they are giving our son. Today, we can't imagine having anyone else care for our baby boy. Thank you Ms. Maria, Mr. James and team!

He started attending Nido when he was around 9 months old and is building so many life skills such as independence (eating with a spoon or fork, drinking from a cup without even spilling, listening and doing simple commands like putting something away, picking something up, closing the door, etc.) I also noticed his concentration when he's playing with things at home or when we're at the dining table. I could go on and on about the things I notice him doing since starting at Nido. My son loves going to school each day and he adores his Montessori guide, Ms. Maria. She is very attentive and I appreciate that she really observes each child. She communicates well and her school is a true Montessori environment. She is always available whenever we have any questions. I definitely learn so much from her as I try to incorporate more of the Montessori philosophy at home and as a parent. She always emphasizes how she's there to work together with the parents for the child to benefit the most. We wished we could've start our first child with the Montessori philosophy earlier on because I can see how beneficial it is in life. I don't feel like I drop off my son to a "daycare". It's a Montessori school where the children "work", learn, and have fun.

My daughter was beyond ready for kindergarten. She learned all her letters, numbers, sight words and left so confident. The environment staff created for all the little ones was so safe and perfect for learning. Kiddos are split by age and have enough staff to care for the entire group. Every day they have crafts and activities related to the theme of what they are learning about that week. They have events for holidays and invite the families regularly (Mother's Day, Father's Day, family picnics, Christmas concerts). In the summer they follow a summer program with fun activities to keep the kids entertained and engaged. They get three meals a day and nap. They only close for a few holidays so working parents don't have to scramble to figure out where to take the kiddos. I cant say enough good things about this school. I am so grateful that we became part of this family. Rest assured that this school is going to check all your boxes when looking for daycare or to get your kiddo started on a school routine. We had come from another daycare with shorter hours, less staff and more pricey (the cost was just the cherry on top).

In the summer they have really cool activities for the kids so even though they're in school for the summer they make it feel fun for them with water days to jumpers and so much more. My son had a speech impediment and was taking him to speech therapy the whole time he was here but I honestly feel like he excelled his expectations here. All the teachers are very caring and supportive they treat the kids as if they were their own. Ms. Cindy the director is the absolute best. From the very beginning, Eagles Nest has been a loving, nurturing, and professional environment where children are genuinely cared for and celebrated. The staff is highly educated, experienced, and deeply committed to each child's growth -- academically, socially, and emotionally. Their dedication shows in everything they do. Our daughter has flourished here. She is happy, confident, and excited to go to school each day. She has built meaningful friendships and formed beautiful bonds with her teachers, who have shown her patience, encouragement, and kindness every step of the way. The curriculum is thoughtful and engaging, and the special events they incorporate throughout the year truly make families feel involved and connected. What stands out most is the heart of this school. The teachers and administrators are willing to work closely with families, offering support and guidance through behavioral challenges or learning struggles with compassion and professionalism. They truly partner with parents, and that makes all the difference. As we approach her final year at Eagles Nest, we already feel emotional knowing she will soon be moving on. This school has been such a special and foundational part of her early childhood, and we are so grateful for the love and care they have poured into her over these years. We wholeheartedly and highly recommend Eagles Nest Preschool to any family looking for a warm, structured, and supportive place for their child to grow and thrive. I initially brushed it off, but over time he continued coming home with scratches, bruises, and marks on his body on a regular basis. Each time I asked about them, staff were unable to explain how they happened. As a parent, that was extremely concerning. I repeatedly brought my concerns to the staff and administration, but I often felt dismissed. I also asked Jennifer if I could review the camera footage, but I was told recordings were only kept for 24 hours and had already been deleted. Another concern was the lack of communication. When picking up my son, staff rarely provided updates about his day and often seemed rushed or unwilling to discuss concerns. Instead of feeling welcomed and reassured, I frequently felt uncomfortable and unheard. My experience left me feeling that my concerns were not taken seriously and that staff were more focused on defending one another than addressing legitimate questions about my child's safety. Based on my personal experience, I would not recommend this daycare for infants or children who are not yet able to communicate what happens during the day.

Until the age of two, we were able to nurture his love of creativity through art, get him engaged in reading and music, and keep him active and independent while learning at home, but his social-emotional growth needed a community like Modern Schoolhouse to truly develop. We met another family at his favorite playground that had an AMAZING experience at Modern Schoolhouse and their daughter, who was academically gifted and raised with similar philosophies, was thriving under their care. We enrolled and discovered for ourselves that Modern Schoolhouse was indeed an absolute gem for child development. Our son entered after turning two, and he was very shy/reserved at the time. The talking, dancing, singing, bilingual artist that blew us away with his funny ideas and love of learning at home, needed help expressing himself in the larger group. Over the next several years, Leonardo was able to grow and thrive his ability to emotionally self-regulate, from having a 'safe space' at home to being able to identify what he was feeling and how to 'calm his body,' to listening to others and respecting common space. What we didn't anticipate was not just the top quality of the school, the clean aesthetic spaces, and the exceptional teachers (Teacher Alicia from class 3 was truly amazing!!), but also the like minded and kind community that became a key part of our son's social life. During our son's first years at home, we studied Montessori, Waldorf, and Reggio Emilia- instituting some principles of each in our approach at home. It wasn't until we met Sue and her philosophies at Modern Schoolhouse did we see some of these same philosophies embodied in an American child care setting; and we must have interviewed or toured at 5 or more local schools before finding Modern Schoolhouse. The core beliefs consist of the idea that children are competent, capable, curious individuals with hundreds of ways of self expression. The role of the school and family should be creating a structured, clean, and aesthetic environment that is conducive stimulating exploration and discovery. Teachers in this sense guide and foster collaboration rather than just 'delivering information.' Giving our son a new challenge was hard at first, but Sue and her staff were quick to offer suggestions and outside resources so we could reinforce some lessons at home, especially around his development of social/emotional skills like managing anger, dealing with disappointment, and learning to communicate when he needed space. He also was given the chance to learn how to build relationships and have positive interactions with new friends. Each 'season' and month had different themes that would be clearly delivered in monthly/quarterly emails along with chances to meet with teachers on child progress in key development areas of language, tracing, use of scissors, how to put on shoes/jackets, counting, class participation/listening, and emotional self expression. By class 3 (3 years old and above), our son was giving 'show and tell' presentations, using the 'sharing bee' to discuss their weekend, and playing inventive games to stimulate imagination and curiosity. Through the use of brightwheel, we were always shown photos and videos of our son having fun with friends and doing some fun activity. The school also offered many events at the school such as the "annual art show," "parent and me" day, and music sessions from Teacher Gaia culminating in a student led music performance (the cutest!). This year all the 4 classes made their own animal costumes and acted out various Disney themes. It was extraordinary to see him flourish and thrive under Teacher Alicia in class 3, who is truly remarkable for her ability to connect to kids and meet them where they are on the journey. By the end he was more confident in his presentations and even singing his favorite Disney songs Karaoke style to the class! Everything ended on a wonderful note with his graduation and small speech to parents and the graduating class. We were given an opportunity for a graduation photoshoot and his 'family book' with messages from all of the teachers as a keepsake that he created during his time there. As he graduated before many of the others in class 3, everyone created a special hand painted art for him with with the handprints of all his friends. It is bittersweet to go onto the next chapter, but he graduated school scoring high in every single metric of development, and he easily was interviewed and accepted into an international private school. Thanks you for being such a key part of his childhood journey and we hope to stay in touch with Leonardo and our growing family!

Initially, we had some concerns about starting him so young, but it quickly became clear that enrolling him early was the right choice. He is truly thriving--emotionally, mentally, and intellectually. The curriculum at TMS is incredibly well thought out. Each activity clearly connects to the weekly or daily theme, and we've seen real growth in our son's development. He's starting to learn the alphabet and has become much more verbal since he began. What stands out even more is how happy our child is at TMS. Every photo we receive through the app shows him smiling, and we always feel confident dropping him off, knowing he's in caring and capable hands. The teachers, staff, and owner (Sue) are exceptional. Our son absolutely adores his teachers and lights up when we mention their names in the morning. Even though he's usually very attached to us, he was so excited to see his teacher at the Annual Art Show that he practically leaped from my arms to greet her. That kind of connection is exactly what every parent hopes for in a school: a place where your child feels loved and supported. On top of all this, the school is extremely clean. Our son has hardly been sick, and we've noticed how attentive the staff is to hygiene--little ones always have their noses wiped, diapers changed very frequently and the environment is clearly well-maintained. TMS is far beyond a typical daycare--it's a place where our child is growing, learning, and genuinely happy.
