Where do I even begin? I have given this office staff multiple chances to improve, but the situation only continues to get worse. We are fairly new to this health center after enrolling with IEHP in 2025. While the doctor seems great, the office staff's repeated mistakes have made this experience incredibly frustrating and counterproductive. During our first visit, a nurse incorrectly recorded my son's height as 5'6" when he is actually close to 5'9". While I initially brushed this off as a minor mistake, it was unfortunately just the beginning. At his first round of lab work, some concerns were identified. He was prescribed Vitamin D and we were told to monitor his blood sugar levels, as he was borderline prediabetic. A second round of labs was scheduled, but they failed to check his Vitamin D levels. At that point, his results showed he had progressed to prediabetes, and he was referred to endocrinology. Before the third set of labs, I asked the office to include all tests requested by the endocrinologist in their order. I was initially told no. I then attempted to cancel the appointment, explaining I would proceed directly through endocrinology, but the office reassured me they could handle everything and encouraged me to keep the appointment. At that visit, the nurse was unable to successfully draw blood from one arm and had to attempt again in the other. My son, who is autistic, began to shut down, which I clearly communicated to the nurse. Despite this, she dismissed my concerns, stated he was "fine," and proceeded to hug him, which triggered a meltdown. As a result, he missed an entire day of school and needed time to recover in a safe space. When the endocrinologist later reviewed the lab results, they were unable to properly assess his condition because critical tests--including his A1C--had not been completed. We were forced to schedule yet another round of lab work. The only notable finding was elevated liver enzymes, but without the complete panel, no conclusions could be made. At this point, I expressed my frustration to the doctor and requested to take the lab order to Labcorp myself. I was told I could pick up the lab slip before 5 PM. I arrived at 4:50 PM, only to find the office locked. After knocking, someone opened the door and told me they were in a meeting. I explained that I had been told I could pick up the slip until 5 PM. They eventually handed me stapled paperwork, which included a lab order and what appeared to be an appointment notice. Unfortunately, the issues did not end there. I later received a notice from Bloomington Community Health blaming me for providing Labcorp with the wrong (outdated) lab slip. This is extremely concerning, as I had never previously taken my son outside of their office for lab work and relied entirely on the documents they provided. It appears the office printed and gave me an outdated lab order, resulting in yet another failed attempt to complete necessary testing. Because of this error, even the follow-up on his elevated liver enzymes have been missed. To say I am frustrated is an understatement. The repeated errors, lack of accountability, and disregard for patient needs have made it impossible to trust this office with my child's care. This level of disorganization is not only unacceptable--it has the potential to negatively impact patient health. I would give zero stars if I was able to. Horrible service! read more

They literally never answer the phone on the Dr side and the receptionist in the Chiropractor area are always yelling at each other and being rude to each other. My chiropractor is a good doctor and so is his assistant very professional and friendly but the checking in process is so horrible . On the doctor side they are a little bit more professional, but often have mistakes on figuring out what's going on and call me multiple times to confirm what someone else already confirmed. I'm going to have to change my doctor due to this bad service. Drs are good but front desk workers are rude and unprofessional. Good luck ! read more

I've been here twice so far and both experiences have been great. The office is very clean, office staff are kind and friendly. Specifically Dr. Patricia OBGYN is amazing!! I've never had a gyno that is genuinely so patient and thorough and is actually willing to listen to me. She ordered the right tests that I needed, vs other doctors where I've literally had to beg for them to offer something other than birth control. Gabriela D. was also amazingly kind, and made the entire process easy and calm when drawing my blood. 10/10 definitely recommend. read more

They don't answer the phone, I had to change my primary care physician because no one answers. Not a call back, nothing. It sucks big time. Even IEHP called them to verify the information and they couldn't get through so I went to so much hassle to change doctors and requesting medical records. Very unprofessional! Mine and my mother's appointments keep having to be rescheduled and the staff does not care about their patients. Dr aventura is our provider and she's a fucken bitch for not placing damn lab orders. My mother is a 56 year old diabetic women, and when she need lab work done, aventura doesn't place the orders. There has been multiple times where my moms and mine appointment need to be rescheduled due to no orders being placed. I know it is not the lady's in the front fault, and I've taken it out on them but they really do their best to help it's just the back staff and doctors. Management is unreachable half the time, and when they are reachable they give me the same speech. I do not recommend this clinic whatsoever ! read more

was trying to sign in and the pen wasn't working, the girl at the front thought I was stupid for trying to write on the white vinyl part and said "it's not the pen write on the bottom part" in a rude tone. i think everyone knows you're supposed to write on the next available number. they need to train these wannabes nurses better. read more

I made my son a appointment back in April for some concerns I was have and the earliest they could get me in was the ending of may, may came and they canceled on my son and couldn't get me in after that till 2 months later, July. My son and I were ready for his appointment today 7/5/23 and of course they canceled on me and but this time the girl I spoke to that was canceling my appointment was very unprofessional, rude, and so unhelpful. Witch made me upset as well. She was laughing about the situation and told me "pick a different doctor then" and this was the front desk girl. What a disappointment. read more

I've been coming here for a while but man, I'm having issues with it. Mostly the doctor doesn't listen to your concerns. They focus on one problem but never address the others at all. I had to harp on them just to get a referral for something that was pretty urgent. I don't want to go into all of my medical problems but this place just isn't it. I was only going here because it was closest to me so I just called and switched my doctor to a new one. I can't keep dealing with a doctor who doesn't listen to my own concerns about my body. If I could give zero stars I would. Front office staff in the Dental section, HORRIBLE and RUDE. They were completely rude to my mom for asking one simple question. The girl at the front signaled my mom to be quiet and pointed somewhere when asking a question about where the eye section was. Another Mexican man asked and she did the same. But when a white couple asked, she was nice and speaking to them. She was the one with frizzy curly hair. Disgusting service. My wife had a stroke a couple years ago so she was suffering from lots of pain specially on the right side of her body so she was asking for relief in different places, she tried other therapys but the one that really helped her the most was the Quiropractor Doctor Jorge de Leon she's taking therapy with him and she's happy she found Doctor de Leon. I really recomend Doctor de Leon cause also he treats my wife with compassion and dignity. read more

I couldn't get an earlier appointment for something quite serious, and I do agree with some people on Yelp saying that the staff is very unprofessional and gossip about other people. The doctors are nicer, friendlier and more professional. I feel like my privacy is not confidential by just seeing how the staff is. read more

My doctor is amazing and is the only reason I come. The front office staff and management are horrible, rude and inconsiderate, giving dirty looks, bad attitude, don't even greet patients as we enter, and checkin patients by preference. Not by appointment time or arrival time. Gossiping about other employees and patients l. As a business it is way too catty. Although I appreciate my dr. I am considering looking for another provider. We had to wait for a long time even though there were no other patients. Horrible customer service. The dental clinic is a complete joke. They offer only the most basic procedures and prescribed me an analgesic and told me to go elsewhere to do the procedure I required. So, I went to a much better dentist that was way better and much more affordable even though she was not advertised as such. read more

The Reception is the worst ever... My daughter went over for chronic headaches. Had to wait 1 1/2 hours to get seen, and this was with a 10am appointment.. they told her, her prescription will be ready at her local pharmacy in an hour. She goes to the pharmacy and they still have not received the prescription! after an hour of calling the clinic trying to get help.. Mind you she's in a lot of pain and now Nausea.. The phone rings over fifty times.. they must have caller ID because they did not want to answer her calls.. I asked her to let me try from my phone. Guess What??? They answered on the second ring, when less that a minute earlier the phone rang fifty times each time she would call them, she would hang up and try again to have it just ring and nobody pick it up!! Oh No! I gave them a piece of my mind.. they finally said it was a system error.. the reason the pharmacy didn't get the prescription but it was fixed (Bull Shit!) Incompetence and Lack of Human Regard I would say.. Guess what she never got the prescription!! it's been 24 hours and the pharmacy has not gotten it!! This happened yesterday June 5,2014 Ava or Eva or who ever the reception is need to Get fired!! She totally ignored my daughters calls, DO NOT GO HERE! Only because the Front Desk Needs people that care and not treat you like your a bother to them! The only Reason we went there is because they are the closest. But as of Now! Never again! While I was in there I saw the receptionist answer the phone and say I have one patient on the other line could you please hold and she put them on hold and continued doing some paperwork and began talking to her coworker, etc. She must have left them on hold past 15 minutes easily before answering. It must be a common habit as she did that to someone else. A day after the appointment I called there to ask a question and was treated to the same thing. I was on hold for 20 minutes. I hung up and called again and got the same line of one patient ahead of me so I said No, because I had a quick question and she took the call and answered it. This place is top notch!!! Trust me, I'm an RN at Loma Linda Medical Center and I know quality care. I came into this place as a first time patient today and made an appt. yesterday for 10 am today. I got there at 930 as they suggested in order to fill out paperwork and register. Within 5 minutes of checking in, I was called into the registration office where the woman was very knowledgeable on what my insurance covered and didn't. She even asked if I wanted her to schedule an appt. for dental or optometry, which I did. Registration took about 5 minutes tops and then I went back to the waiting room. I was then called within 10 minutes and after my vitals were taken, was escorted back to an exam room. I waited there for another 15 minutes or so, then was promptly seen by NP Cruz, an Asian nurse practitioner who was very knowledgeable and asked all the right questions. She looked at my throat and diagnosed me with strep, which is what I thought I had. I was out of there with work note, and prescriptions called in to my local pharmacy by 11!!! Would I recommend this place, heck yes!!! Knowledgeable staff, clean place with new technology and updated equipment, and fast wait times!!! Doesn't get any better than this. Today was suppose to be my second appointment. Well actually Monday the 10th but the doctor office called an hour before the appointment saying that the doctor had gone home. First appointment I was taken an hour and half late and the doctor spent 4 minutes top with me and said I would have to come back next week because they are too busy to take care of anything. So I made an appointment for the following Monday which is when they called to cancel. My insurance only allows me to see the doctor that is listed on my insurance card. I showed up today. Was called back an hour after my appointment time only to find out my doctor is no longer there. They should have told me that when the called the day before to confirm the appointment or better yet when they knew he was no longer there as of that Monday. I am informing my insurance, BBB and the medical board. I am just hoping I don't have to get a lawyer and sue if they try to charge me for the appointment. read more
