I'm sorry, can't remember the "fellow's" name who came to my house, On July 2, 2024. I had an emergency with a severe water leak across my backyard from a rusted out underground sprinkling water connection valve. The "fellow" whose name I don't recall was recommended by Gerry Schneider, a personal friend of ours. The "fellow" came immediately and had it fixed so quickly I was in shock.....but so grateful indeed!! I have been searching for who it was that I wrote check to, I finally remembered to look in my check book and I just found your name Arizona Irrigation Co.! Anyway, I may need your services again.....I might have another emergency as I was just out in my backyard at 3am and saw lots of water once again across my backyard....will find out more when we have daylight!! The worst customer service I have ever seen in my life! I had almost 10,000sq ft of sod put in my backyard at the end of last year. So they were supposed to come open our irrigation at the beginning of May, because it is vital that new sod gets alot of water, but they never showed up. so we called and their excuse for missing our appointment was "we are too busy, next week" very rude. So as you can guess next week came and went and nothing so the week after we called them again (mind you I've been watering my huge lawn manually for a month now) so when I called I kind of expected them to say ok we are coming asap, nope, same excuse, same rudeness "we're busy, next week! Click" no bye nothing. So that was it I called the company they are contracted through for irrigation HUNTER IRRIGATION and told them and they were mortified when I told a manager. Luckily my wife saw a trailer with a company called VIP IRRIGATION, so we called them at 5pm expecting them to say minimum a couple of days, but by 7pm they were at our house fixing everything. They told us they were going to go home for the day, but after hearing what happened to us they couldn't just go home, how nice is that, now that is customer service! SO BEWARE IF THEY ARE THAT BAD AT SOMETHING SO TRIVIAL AS OPENING A IRRIGATION SYSTEM (WHICH THEY CHARGE MUCH MORE THEN VIP TO DO) IMAGINE WHAT THEY WILL DO WITH LANDSCAPING, I KNOW ONE THING, I WOULD NEVER TRUST A COMPANY THAT RUDE AND WITH SUCH BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE! We needed an irrigation system appended to our older irrigation system. Arizona Irrigation Company was the business for us. Not only was the price fair, but their work was impeccable. Warning. These guys know what they are doing, being one of the oldest irrigation companies in the valley. As such, be prepared to be slightly patient as work is progressing; good irrigation work requires them to double check their work. I will need other properties to have installed irrigation installations, I will be reaching out to Arizona Irrigation Company. Lastly, these guys really work in and around the Central Phoenix area. They are able to deal with irrigation problems their more quickly than the outskirt suburbs like Queen Creek and even south Tempe. read more

The owner came by talked with us for a couple of hours. Really nice guy, gave us his entire family history and he would be great to go have a beer with even. He gave us a price at the end of it. We agreed to it. We wanted to do a down payment with credit card. They haven't done that. He said he would be able to start in a week. He never came back by, callee or emailed so I emailed him again and he said he had a couple jobs in front of us. That was over 2 months ago. Not a word again. So we got another company but that amount of time taken out listening on the front end and then the unprofessional way of not getting back is what caused me to write a review. Now that Richard has retired, Tim is running the business just the way his father would want him to. Always professional, friendly and most importantly fair! Tim is very busy taking care of his many loyal customers, so it might be a couple of days before he can get to you, but when he does, I promise he will do the job right. Please know that in an emergency, Tim will come by right away to at least evaluate the situation, then he might have to return when he's finished with other jobs. I attempted to do a DIY valve fix, but quickly found myself underwater....literally. I frantically searched Yelp and found Arizona Irrigation Company. I left a message at their business line late in the afternoon, received a call back in less than 5 mins, and Tim (Owner) was at my house 15 mins after that! Turns out I stripped the casing when attempting to replace the valve. Tim was able to fix my mistake without having to completely rip out the entire system. Not only did he do an outstanding job with the repair, he also took the time teach me where I went wrong so I don't repeat my mistake in the future. Simply put, Tim saved me big time...both in time and money. The final bill was much lower than I was expecting, so I couldn't help but throw in a little extra to thank Tim for his efforts. read more

Tim and company responded promptly and provided an explanation of what services they recommended and how it would work. The work was done quickly and with no effort from me. Scheduling is somewhat touch-and-go because they try to minimize how much they drive on a given day, so I did have to be flexible enough to be home when they were in the area, but their requests were not unreasonable at all. read more

I had a leak in my very antiquated irrigation system that 2 companies before Tim couldn't fix! I called Tim Friday morning before a long weekend. He made it a point to stop by before his long weekend and at least diagnose my problem. He was punctual, he solved the puzzle of my leaking system. Tim and two guys showed up to do an assessment of our irrigation system and fix some leaking lines. They were able to test and map the whole system, fix several broken lines, replace some sprinkler heads, and answer all my questions in under an hour. I don't like leaving 5 star reviews but as someone who provides service around the valley I have to say this is the absolute best feeling when you get a job done right and at a fair price. Richard is amazing, He is over 70 and still working in this field. I cannot believe how incredible his service is. The wife and I have used him several times and every time we feel we are being treated right, the prices were more fair than ANYWHERE else. Usually I balk at most companies and get quotes because lets face it most service guys are commission based. A++ service I will definitely refer customers to you guys, in fact I have referred 3 of my customers to you because of the outstanding service Richard provided. had a broken valve on a weekend and was desperate to get it fixed before my new lawn died...left a message for Tim and received a call back Monday morning..I had a Doctor appt that could NOT be cancelled and thought I was done for...he said to call him when i got home and he would fix it before sundown...and that's exactly what he did...came out same day, and quickly and professionally repaired the valve..had sprinklers working that afternoon...couldn't believe how quickly Tim responded and took care of problem...he also adjusted some badly placed sprinklers...would never use anyone else...he appreciated that I was a senior citizen and was panicked about no water on lawn...PLUS his price was so reasonable...he didn't take advantage of emergency situation or my age.....thank you, Tim!!! read more

Contacted them for 2 leaks I noticed on my property in the irrigation drip system. Tim and David came out and actually found 5 leaks after running the system and knocked them out in about an hour and a half. Just one of those leaks would have taken me all day. The savings on water/month will likely be significant and the price for repairs was very reasonable. I will be using them again for any irrigation problems in the future and highly recommend them to friends and family! read more
