I received a lash lift from them. I do want to note that the Groupon price is the same as the regular price from what I observed. Either way, it was a good service. The lady was nice and the place is very neat and clean. I received a rewards card so I think after a certain number of services, you can score a complementary service. I also got my brows threaded from them (it cost $7, which isn't bad for Manhattan prices) . Looking forward to coming again soon for their lash lift. read more

I went here accidentally thinking I was going to the 272 5th Avenue location which was the biggest mistake I made because I had a terrible experience. The lady had me uncomfortable the whole time and when I tried to talk to her it's like she would ignore what I was saying and she liter burned me and pretended she didn't see it then missed hair and offered to thread it off I wanted to die. left uneasy and more uncomfortable than I was when I first walked in, read more

I have been coming here for about a year now for eyebrow threading and have nothing but great things to say about this place! No matter which technician I get, I am always very happy with the results. Furthermore, I have always been able to walk in and rarely have had to wait for a long time. You can't beat the prices either ($7 for eyebrow threading). I recently came for the first time after COVID and am still satisfied with the services and feel safe coming here. read more

Love Blossom Brows! This was my first time having my eye brows done. Previously I was only tweezing and using a razor to trip them. I was worried that there was not much to work with-- and I was proven wrong! I left the apt with better brow symmetry and shape! In places that I had over tweezed, she gave me tips to get them growing and in better shape! She is very professional, kind, and warm! Highly recommend! Even for first timers! I love it and am going back to try the dermaplane and brows. read more

One of the things that gives me equal anxiety to getting my hair cut is getting anything on my face threaded. So naturally, I scoured Yelp to find a reasonable and legit place to go. Blossom Brows, you'll continue to be that place! :) THREADING - I got my eyebrows ($7) and upper lip ($5) done here by Bina. They'll be a few ladies gossiping in here when you arrive, and thankfully she seemed like the most calm one. She followed my instructions for the brows well (e.g. shape and clean it, but don't make it thin!) and my skin around both areas look normal after all is done. Took maybe 10-15 mins to do both. PRICE - Great value! I've seen places charge triple in Manhattan which is a shame. Bina gave me a card for a free threading after 10 visits. Overall, I chose Bina to do the threading given the reviews here and she didn't disappoint! A couple came in during my visit and got assisted by the other two ladies, so they're probably good too. Anyway, super stoked to have found a place to get my threading done here! read more

I initially made an appointment, but was told to just walk in. It was very clean, everyone was wearing masks appropriately, and the staff helped me right away. I got a great eyebrow threading! The technician really listened to what I wanted and I know it was a little more involved, but I did get a little thread burn. The technician cleaned the chair when I was done too! read more

I have very very light (almost unnoticeable) eyebrows. During the pandemic, I figured to try it out because I spend most of my time at home so if I didn't like it, no big deal. Jaya did my eyebrows. She was amazing. I said keep eyebrows as thick as possible & natural look. I love it. Will definitely be going to her for other things as well. read more

This is my third time here and I always have a wonderful experience. I typically only go to get my brows done professionally if I neglected my brows for a while and it loses shape. I asked for threading for my brows and wax for my lips, totaling $11 excluding tip. I always have wonderful results, brows are always complimented as "on point" when I get it freshly done. If you have sensitive skin, I would avoid waxing completely. Although it's faster, I normally get welts in the area of wax. They apply some baby oil to relieve the area of irritation. Waxing takes longer but it's much more precise and worth it. Make sure to grab their service card as you get a free threading session with every 10 sessions. read more

No frills, exactly what I needed! I can't do just pure threading cause when they thread towards down my eyelid my body just... hates it. Lol. They were super understanding and did the bulk of the removal with wax, and then did the meticulous clean up with threading so my brows look great without the extra pain! Was (kindly) told to perhaps get an upper lip wax aaaand they were right! Hahah. Feel so cute and pretty! read more

Rinky, First of all, I do not understand what you are trying to say fully because of your lack of proper English. Secondly, please, do not lie. The bill was PAID FOR when I asked to speak to the manager. And the promotion was NOT from three years ago, it was current with no expiration date, which is why i presented it. So, that is a lie as well. I'm glad you have cameras so if this ends up in court, the judge will be able to see that your employee PUT HER HANDS ON ME!!!! That is unacceptable! And when you stated that I started grabbing things, you are trying to paint an incorrect picture and it's disgusting. What I reached for was the piece of receipt paper that was on the counter which I had been requesting. The employee decided that she should violate me and put her hand on me. Went here last night for the first time and did eyebrow threading, lip wax and Brazilian wax. We already knew their eyebrow game was tight, so very happy and no surprise. But the ending aloe application with a bit of scalp massage was amazing. BUT whoever wrote here their bikini waxes are no bueno are sorely mistaken. Maybe that was a while ago but they had sugar and chocolate wax and it was very clean and not too painful. Highly highly recommend!!! Definitely gong to become a regular. read more

Excellent waxing here! Ask for the sensitive skin wax, it's worth the extra cost. They're fast and good and cheap, a rare trifecta. Walk ins fine unless you're coming at a busy time, in which case best call ahead to check first/make an appointment. There are three rooms for waxing etc, and they're kept clean, with fresh everything for each customer. They don't double dip, although their regular body wax is from those sticks that are not as good. People mostly come here for threading, which they do in the main room. You can pay cash or card, but they appreciate a cash tip (obviously). Great location, plenty of room and outlets if you need to charge devices. read more

To the manager; The women who work here are wonderful. There are so many threading salons to choose from but I always find my way back to Blossom Brows. I do however have a recommendation for the owner. As someone who insists on cleanliness I must comment that the rooms and doors need a good cleaning. I returned after the four month closing and expected the salon to be well cleaned. Perhaps you can find someone to come in and do a good cleaning. 1. Fresh soap in the bathroom. 2. Towels 3. Door handles need to be cleaned. 4. Dust that has gathered on top of each wall divider needs to be cleaned. no-one likes looking up and seeing dust overhead. Cleanliness is really important for a salon. As I am sure you know, Thank You so much read more

I have never written a review for an eyebrow threading salon before because they weren't worth it- this salon is worth a review lol!! 5 stars!! Location: it's a short walk, 1-2 blocks off of the F train at 4th Ave. Service: Walk ins are always welcome, that's what I did today! The woman, Sita attended to me very quickly! She didn't rush the job- I went in for eyebrow & lip threading! She didn't rush me either. After she finished with my brows she asked me if I was fine with my brows and if I would like anything else done to them "skinnier..etc". I'm very happy with my brows and will be returning!! Cleanliness: This salon is very clean. Felt very nice upon walking in. She wiped my brows lightly before getting to work. I would maybe return next time for a facial maybe? :) Price: their pricing is very good! Eyebrow threading: $6 , Lip threading is $5. Yes I know there are cheaper places, but is their service that great? This one is!!! Hours: I walked in on July 4th- Independence Day! They were open! Their normal hours are 10am-8pm everyday!! That's awesome! Final thoughts: YES! I think I found my eyebrow salon!! I know that I can ask for someone specific now. Yikes. It can be easy to assume, even subconsciously, that businesses that are part of a chain are more likely to be good at the services they provide. This Blossom Brows location is exhibit A in that not being true. After my previous threading experience here I found that the experience was not only more painful than previous threadings I've had but somehow less effective at the same time. The hair grew back faster than usual. Today: butcher. I don't know how to do threading myself but I've gotta assume if you make me bleed, you're doing it wrong. It felt like my skin was inadvertently but repeatedly being pinched, pulled, and folds of my skin getting pulled into the threads. I can't see what's happening while I'm being threaded so I don't know that this is true. What I do know is that the spots of blood on my face afterward in two different places were unmistakable. This was a different staffer mind you so more than one of them are terrible at threading. No thank you to bleeding from my face. read more

This review is mostly as a reminder to myself. Great for brows bad for waxing. After having a few good waxes here I was thrilled I found a one stop shop for hair grooming needs however I have since experienced two of the worst waxes I've ever had. My last trip was two months ago and was done so poorly I didn't come back, then I forgot and came back again today. Im not convinced everyone there should be waxing as they waxed over the same spot multiple times. Slowly peeled the strip off (FUN). When it comes to brow threading they are top notch. Always give a great arch and the shape holds for weeks. read more

What a great, inexpensive place to get your brows done! For $6, I had a really nice girl thread my browsicles into a nice, neat frame. Also there's also a rewards system - your 10th visit is free. This salon is clean, convenient for Park Slopers and crazy cheap. That's a lot to love. read more

I have been doing my brows here for years and they always do an amazing job. But the last time I came here I don't think the technician washed her hands properly. Now me and my sister (who also got her brows done from the same technician) have red, itchy, inflamed bumps on our forehead for the past week. The technician was threading my brows and then using her hands to brush the hair away from my forehead, which can cause acne! Other than that, I love this place because of how beautifully they do our eyebrows. Please please please emphasize to the technicians to wash their hands between each client, some of us have very sensitive skin. read more

Let me tell you ladies, I have a thing with my eyebrows that If they mess up, I'll lose my mind. I can't trust any place. But when it comes to Blossom Brows, there's never an issue and they will always finesse my eyebrows. Especially if you have thick eyebrows, they will do an amazing job! WARNING-- THE WORST BROW EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. Not only did they brush my brow lamination to have a 'swoop' upward, rather than straight up, but then they took of HALF MY EYEBROW end when I asked to just 'clean them up'. Not only that but the wax they used burned my face-- I am still red a day later and it feels raw. On TOP of that, they were 30 minutes late for my appointment without warning me even though I called to confirm 30 minutes prior to time. DO NOT TRUST THIS ESTABLISHMENT IF YOU LIKE NATURAL LOOKING BROWS. read more

It's no frills - just two small rooms. But extremely clean, friendly staff, and high quality products used. Honestly, these facials are better than many of the ones I've gotten at high end hotels that cost at least 2x more. I do the Deep Cleansing Facial. They give you the full amount of time to the dot. Love the extraction, face and eye mask at the end, and the neck and shoulder massage is amazing. I have very dry skin and slightly sensitive - my face has never broken out or had a reaction to any of the products used. Sooo soothing and worth every penny!

I've been to both the Red Hook location and Windsor Terrace. I've been to other places like Red Door, Pratima, and D'Mai and much prefer Brooklyn Herborium. The staff and facialists are welcoming and friendly at both locations. They make all their own masks, oils, sprays, etc. from natural ingredients; all of which they use in the facials. They spend time asking about your skincare routine and offer suggestions, but it's never pushy or salesy. I love the hot stones placed under your shoulder blades midway through the facial and the neck massage. My skin is always very grateful for this treatment. It's a lovely, no frills, local place that I hope stays around for a long time.

The prices are a steal compared to other salons in the city and neighboring competitors. Each stylist seems to know intuitively just what my hair needs, and I leave with a literal weight off my shoulders and a style that lasts for days every time.
