Do not go here for a lash lift. It's been a week, and I'm still recovering from the procedure. They told me that the appointment would only take 1hr max, but when I left I noticed that it had taken 1hr and 30mins. It was only until I told her that it was burning that she had finally taken off the solution. At first my lashes looked okay but then when I went out of town for a wedding, my lashes became infected with pus coming out and chunks of my lashes were falling off. I had to keep taking antibiotics to help with the infection. I advise everyone to just go somewhere else for a lash lift. read more

I asked for a simple clean up on my eyebrows. I usually always get them waxed and followed up by a LITTLE big of threading due to the fact i already have sensitive skin and threading does tend to irritate them a little longer than just wax. She threaded off the bottom of my eyebrows and made them thin . I have beautiful THICK eyebrows and asked for a clean up. No reason i should have thin ass eyebrows. read more

I randomly came across Blossom Brows, and am very glad I did. I've been to another location in the city, but this was my first time at this location. The ladies who work here are so sweet. I forgot the name of the woman who worked on me, but she was extremely patient with me during my eyelash installation process. I got a medium set eyelash extensions for $30, which in my opinion is worth it. So far, it's been a week, and all my lashes are still in tact. Will definitely be returning again! read more

Before getting the service I asked not once but three times are you able to provide the same service. If not I understand. I'll go somewhere else. She insisted she was able to provide de same service for me. Instead I came out of the brow salon crying bc my brow hair was completely ruined. It's now curly and messy. Awful customer service, had me wait for a service just to tell me that they can no longer accommodate me , they are just awful!

I went with a Groupon for a Brazilian wax. I asked the waxer to leave a strip. The following wax was the most painful by far that I have ever had. I was left with broken blood vessels under my skin and bruises. I had gone a bit too long between visits but this was much worse than my first ever, and I had to finally ask the waxer to stop. It was only after that I realized she had removed everything, including longer hair which basically got torn out by the ends, which is why it hurt so much. It wasn't the look I wanted and it hurt for days afterwards. The waxer kept scolding me that I had let it grow too long. I asked her if I could trim to make it hurt less, several times, but she didn't answer me. 2 stars instead of one because maybe it was an issue with her English, but I was very clear when I asked her not to remove everything. read more

Noticed this new salon pop up next to my gym. I haven't gotten my brows threaded in years, so figured this is the least effort it's going to take (walking next door) so, why not! I don't recall who threaded my brows, but she did great. I'd also never had my upper lip threaded but again, why not! That was a bit uncomfortable but expected. I decided to come a week later to have my brows tinted. Something I've also never had done. Because it's temporary, I figured it wouldn't hurt to try. And at only $15, again why not! Nisha did my brow tint and I absolutely love it. They look so natural and at day 3 (they should last about 2-3 weeks) post sweat session at the gym, they still look fresh. Since I'm still a little too chicken to commit to microblading, this will be my go to for now. read more

I live a 3 minute walk, and I usually plucked my own, but with COVID I wanted to have the shaping right. $7 for eyebrow threading, $8 for upper lip threading, and I looked flawless. Sumi was nice and efficient. I was in and out in 8 minutes. She had her mask on the whole time and I felt really safe! She offered me eyebrow tinting but I got scared because this is my second time threading ever. I'll definitely try it though after looking at reviews; gotta frame the window to my soul right! Updated review: Went back on Jan 4th and she fixed my lashes at no charge and wouldn't accept the tip. According to her, she was unaware of the Ext was $80+, okay, I said to put a $15 tip on the extent of my dissatisfaction and apologized. I am also guessing the business saw my original review. So here's a more wholistic review: - $7 for basic eyebrow waxing or threading is a good deal. And if you can throw in a tint for those of us who have lighter or sparse brows, you will leave satisfied; -there's a ton of other services and waxing of all kinds, including body waxing, facials, and lashes. Lashes can be ass long and thick Ike as natural as you'd like. I opted for more natural medium length lashes. And I'll be back. read more

This place is great! I made an appointment online the day before, which was seamless and easy. I was a first timer on both brow tinting and threading. Sumi was very kind and efficient and she made conversation to distract from the stinging of the threading, which she explained gets less painful each visit. Beware of lash lift/tint here. It was my first one ever and so so painful. The young woman doing my lashes got so much of the chemicals in my eyes. At first I wasn't sure if this was normal but upon further research it is NOT normal to have immense pain during the procedure. When I left I could barely keep my eyes open to walk home. And I don't have sensitive eyes - I wear contacts and stick my fingers in my eyes all the time. I should've noted this as a red flag when I asked if I should take my contacts out and they said it's fine if I don't. I'm glad I did. The end result of the shape was ok, save a few kinks at the ends of a few lashes, but tint did not go to the end of my lashes on the outside corners of my eyes. I also was not informed that I couldn't get the lashes wet for 24 hours. 2 stars only because from afar it did end up looking ok even though I took a shower right after. read more

I walked in on a Saturday with the intention of using the Yelp Deal; $60 for $75 service (20% off) so I decided to splurge on eyebrow threading and a facial. When I arrived the woman said she had to call her boss about the deal and instead offered me $10 off the facial (10% off) if I wouldn't purchase the Yelp Deal. Not sure how 10% off is a deal over 20% but I didn't argue because I wanted to support small Asian owned businesses. The eyebrow threading was great yet the facial, don't ask me why I thought I'd receive a decent facial but it was the worst facial I've ever received. My 6 and 9 y/o niece could've done a better job. I paid $60 for a hard face massage which was anything but relaxing. Sigh. I still gave a 20% tip since everyone's having hard times financially but decided that I won't return. Might try a different location for threading and crossing my fingers that they are able to communicate in English with me. read more

I went to this store to get a wax. I have gotten waxes many times before but this experience felt more uncomfortable then usual. My bikini area felt way more sensitive then usual and I believe the wax technician knew something was wrong because she applied a lot of baby powder post wax. The next day I had wax burns. NEVER AGAIN!! I had also forgot my bag under the wax table. The next day I came back and they had found the bag , which was now missing $250 in cash. Seeing they have cameras all throughout the store , I asked the manager to look over and send the ones from that day. After cursing me out and telling me I should've never left my bag , and hanging up in me!! Never sent over the tapes like she said and this was a week ago. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! read more

I had the BEST eyebrow threading experience this afternoon at Blossom Brows. Inside the salon was very clean and modern. It wasn't busy for a Saturday and there were 2 women there. My tech was Sumi, who was very friendly, warm, and welcoming. What I love about Blossom is the choice of thread they used. It felt like silk and butter against my skin. I spent no more than 10-minutes inside the salon. Sumi also gave me some tips for growing out my brows, and instructed me to leave them alone (which is a fact I can't do my brows myself). My brows came out soooo nice, they were arched, and shaped very well! Sumi also trimmed my brows as well. I've seen this salon all the time over the years. I work in the area, and it only dawned on me Blossom is a chain with a few other locations. There's also one in Manhattan not far from Union Square. I will definitely be back, and the price for eyebrow threading is very affordable! It paid $7.30 ($7), and I couldn't be any more happier. I was going to a previous brow bar for years in Cobble Hill, which charged $27, which started to become cumbersome for my pocket with lackluster results. I've been there twice for threading (different people), and both times turned out great!

I called in advance and asked twice if they offered a sugar Brazilian wax service. They assured me they did and when I entered the establishment I asked again just to be sure. Again I was told yes, however, during the actual service a chocolate wax was used instead and I know this because I looked into the machine that held the wax. The young lady performing my wax seemed to be a beginner as she was unsure of what position to put me in (it's butterfly first and then knees to chest. I'm 27 years old and have been getting waxed for a decade now). I didn't mind this too much as the only way to gain experience is to practice, however, I should've known something was wrong when she called the older woman into the room. I have a high pain tolerance and waxing has never been painful for me to begin with so I didn't know my skin had literally been ripped off along with the hair until AFTER, when I was cleaning myself up and putting my clothes on. I find it extremely unacceptable and unprofessional that none of the two ladies who worked on me would notify me of what happened. People make mistakes and that's understandable but to act as though nothing happened and offer no apology, even after I brought it to their attention is again, completely unacceptable. And I'm actually upset with even paying them the $20.90 cause had I not said anything they would've charged me full price and acted as though nothing happened. But I paid because we're all trying to make a living in this world and get by. Just be careful please and don't be afraid to speak up the MINUTE you feel something is off because these are services being paid for and you should get the results and experience you want. read more
