Nothing but positive remarks for Blossom. This is definitely my go-to neighborhood nail shop, close in distance right off the hwy and always convenient & considerate of my time. I'm pretty basic when it comes to nails, Jackie got me onto the cat eye this summer and has been a favorite look as of late. Reason for my review is due to the most recent experience I had. First time getting the cat eye on a bright neon pink lasted for weeks without a hiccup. Had a party to go to, decided to go with the more neutral/natural look and for whatever reason, some of the coatings cracked and or chipped. I went in 2 days later once I had time to go back & they did not even bat an eye to entirely re-do all my nails. They even asked if I wanted a completely different color. I was genuinely surprised & happy to choose quite the opposite of the color I was originally there for. Thank you Blossom Nails for making me feel welcome & going out of the way to completely re-do an entire different color gel on my nails. I won't soon forget it & will definitely be back! read more

We were able to get an appointment fairly easy and they're well staff to take walk ins as well. Pretty happy with my pedicure they made my feet butter smooth, and buster out the dremel to grind away at the jank toe nails! They offer beverages and alcoholic beverages while you get taken care of totally a nice vibe! read more

This salon is a hidden gem! Super nice ladies and Mia did an incredible job on my nails. Super happy with the results and the price was very fair. Salon is very clean and has a great selection of colors for regular, gel, or dip nails. They had a complementary drink with service when I visited- wine, water, soda or mimosas. Definitely a big plus for a relaxing spa treatment. Also they do accept credit cards- but I always still try to tip in cash. Overall highly recommended! read more

The people here are really nice, but I'm very sad about my nails. These are my engagement nails, and they look nothing like the inspo pic I showed them. They redid them for me once, and still really didn't turn out how I wanted. I was very adamant to communicate what I wasn't liking as the process went on, but I don't think the woman doing my nails understood. I ended up crying halfway through bc I was so frustrated. After she redid them, I just decided to not say anything again bc it didn't feel like we were getting anywhere. I wish they had just told me they don't do intricate designs when I booked the appointment, especially bc I specified I wanted something very detailed. The technical execution is good, just nothing at all like what I wanted. By the time I go somewhere else to have them redone for my photos, I'll have spent $240. I'm so sad. read more

I have been an avid nail service customer for over 8 years. After moving to Austin, I checked out and researched many nail salons and found this one. However, although the staff seemed nice. They are not accommodating. Upon entering you are required to wear a mask although there is no legal obligation to. They took 30 minutes to offer me a beverage that was included in the service. After choosing the preferred manicure and pedicure, the technician proceeded to up-sale their products/services. I decided to add the review after the contingency of 1 week. The manicure was horrible..All nails were peeling within 4 days. On the positive side, my shellac pedicure is still in prestigious condition. The place has undergone renovation and really enhanced the ambiance. New pedicure chair and more colors. I don't think the price list is honored. I was charged $92 for a deluxe pedicure (it was lacking the massage as the woman simply patted my shin with one hand) and I got SNS on my natural nails. I do like my nails but I have had better for about $10 cheaper. It seems a little thick and I had to file some of the hard parts off my skin. Once I hit the lottery I will go back but as of now this place is above my pay grade. read more

The service was nice but my nail refill and pedicure were not as expected. The quality of the powder and nail polish was subpar. Two of my nails lifted within 4 days. I had clear gloss on my skin and the nail surface was uneven. I lost a rhinestone before I even left the salon. It took four attempts to draw two thin horizontal lines on the front of my big toes. Whenever they finally got my toes right, they made it a big deal repeatedly asking me if I was happy now. I liked to location, the salon, and the availability but there is room for improvement. read more

I've been going into this shop since 2015 (6 years) my nails have been 50/50. They are never perfect unless I ask for French tip and some can't do French tip. More recently I am preparing for my wedding and trying different styles. I asked for one style which was clearly a clear sns color. I was given a dark brown sns and then the tech tried to paint over her errors. I was there for 4 hours from my appointment time at 12 to 4pm. I was still completely nice smiling and trying my best despite how uncomfortable they made me feel. And how I a long time customer was being treated after enduring years of bad service because they are literally across from my home.. I told the tech this was not what I want and she went from 0 to 10 with frustration and begin speaking to other techs in a different language. It was horrible and embarrassing. I ended up compromising and just accepting the horrible style so that I could go home. There was no discount or anything I was charged $118 and 9 days after my nail appointment my nails sns nails are chipped, paint is chipping (there shouldn't have been ANY PAINT) and the nails are already sliding off the bed. I think this was my favorite pedicure to date. Lynn was awesome, the massage that accompanied the pedicure was the best part!

Had to go back 2 times to get gel fixed and then a third time went to a different salon to fix the gel that was peeling after 24-36 hours

Love this place! It's a little further from my place, so I don't always get to go here, but whenever I'm in the area, I make a point of getting my nails done here. I've done SNS here for the most part, and they are pretty much the best of any nail place I've ever gone. In the same plaza is a great coffee place called Cuppa Austin Coffee. Highly recommend getting a latte from there and heading over to Blossom. People are friendly and accommodating. For instance, last time I made an appointment but showed up around thirty minutes early circumstantially. I had to wait no longer than five minutes before both my sister and I were taken in for manicures. They did an impeccable job and were able to make my SNS a matte, as well. read more

I tried to ask her several times to clean it before I went under the lamp, and she kept reassuring me she would fix it after. I wanted a basic yellow and I got yellow with blue glitter because she didn't clean the brush . I didn't know where to go or what to do. So I started looking on yelp for reviews and this salon caught my eye! They had great reviews, great pictures of their work! Plus they were less than ten minutes from my house! So I did a walk in, when I came in the lady was so nice to me and immediately got me in a chair sigh a male. They let me choose colors and they had no problem with me telling how I wanted to shape and design my nails. I have been back twice since my initial review. The first time I brought my daughter for her first manicure experience, as a pampering treat. Maybe they do an inexpensive, no frills, experience for kids because she was done right away and the service was super cheap. I see this as a benefit for when mom has her daughter with her during a manicure, but in my case we were only there for my daughter. My most recent visit was to remove SNS nails and convert to polish. The SNS nails really did not come off fully, and it's still flaking off. I've been coming here for pedicures for the last few months and everybody is incredibly skilled, friendly, and does an exceptional job. I broke one of my big toenails last night when I stubbed it on a piece of furniture and needed it repaired ASAP. Helen did a phenomenal job with the repairs and even refreshed the unicorn powder pedicure she did a couple of weeks ago. I love how my nails look and feel every time I visit. This is my new go-to spot. On Wednesday I went with a friend to get our nails done. I have engagement pictures on Saturday, so my hands needed to be camera-ready. We went to a salon she recommended, and I was NOT happy. The lady that did my acrylics spoke low and mumbled, and got frustrated when I had to have her repeat herself. She began cutting my nails, and when I asked her to cut them even shorter, she looked at me like I had two heads. I asked for a rose on my ring fingers, got the same look. "Can you show me a picture?", with an attitude. Gee, with these raptor claws you left me with? Never mind, told her to just do any kind of flower. Overall she did a decent job, but customer service was lacking. I left feeling like I just needed to get used to the length. But a few hours later, I was over them. For someone who's natural nails never extend past their fingertips, I couldn't deal with the long nails. And I was mad I'd spent so much money but felt uncomfortable getting what I paid for. I remembered there was a nail salon less than 10 minutes from the house, and went there on a whim to see if they could heal me out. Blossom is where we should have went in the first place! Martin greeted me and asked what I needed done. I fully expected to be told my polish would have to be stripped and redone for X. For cutting them down AND putting back on the flower design that had to be removed, he only charged me $5!!! He was quick with his work, and actually chatted a bit with me. I appreciated that he wasn't judgy about my length request, and most importantly, that he cared about maintaining the work I'd already had some elsewhere. I don't get all primped up often because of the kind of job I have, but when I do, l'll be booking with Martin! ETA: And shout out to Tammy for her wonderful job on my eyebrows today! Usually when you go to get your nails done, you expect a clean, tranquil atmosphere. The were yelling/screaming at times and conversing while giving no acknowledgement to my existence. The tech that started to work on my nails walked in from a smoke break without washing their hands and got right to work. After the third time they cut me I left in the middle of my service. I've waited to do this review for a few months. I wanted to go a few times and make sure that when I wrote the review, there was no doubt in my mind that everyone would have the same experience. Well, after getting my nails done 3 times here, I can confirm just how incredible Jackie and her staff are! I always get Nexgen (as they say in Florida) and since moving here, I had to find a new person to do them which is quite a daunting task. I read the reviews on Yelp and decided to try Jackie and Blossom Nails. I got to my appointment and the first thing I noticed was her smile. She immediately greeted me and welcomed me. It took over an hour and a half to get my nails done (hadn't had them done in over a year so she had to do some extras) but Jackie never made me feel rushed or like I was a pain. She checked each nail individually to make sure that they were even and precise. My nails came out perfect and just the way I like them. During the appointment, I mentioned that I was new to Texas and she welcomed me and even helped me find some new places to check out. Each time I've gone back, she has greeted me with the same smile, excitement, and professionalism. I am definitely impressed that she remembers my name and my story so well. All-in-all, I can say that I will forever be going back to her and Blossom Nails. The proof is in the photos; the first (mint nail color) is after 5 weeks. I am incredibly tough on my nails and I've never gone 5 weeks without at least one broken nail. The nails look (almost) as good as when she did them (minus the grown out part). (Regardless, I don't think anyone should ever go to a salon with the expectation that the wait will be short!) Not sure what all the great ratings are about unless we just had bad timing. It wasn't bad but was definitely mediocre. It's advertised on Yelp that they'll take 10% off with a check-in. They wouldn't honor that. There's no kid chair. They wouldn't put gel polish on my daughter, age 7. She's had it before from other shops. They offered some people drinks but never us. The lady that did my pedicure was fast which I actually appreciated until we left and I realized she trimmed my nails crookedly and a little short.
