The tech, who I'm assuming is the owner or at least the manager was very nice and did a fantastic job. Fast forward to 3 days later and 5 nails have cracks in the tips. I called and let the person who answered know. She asked when I wanted to come in to fix them? She didn't sound surprised, she wasn't apologetic, nothing. I wasn't extra hard on my nails I did normal every day stuff I do. Because Gel X is a softer tip I can understand if a tip was too narrow for my nail bed and it cracked from that but 5 nails?! I told her I would be there first thing in the morning when they opened. I got to the salon when it opened. The man was very nice and did a great job replacing the 5 nails. About 30 minutes later the lady who originally did my nails came in. After the man was done she asked him a question about my nails. Even though it wasn't in English I knew because he shook his hair and pointed to the top of his nail. He repeated himself a couple times and kept pointing to his finger so I can only assume he was reiterating that my nails were cracked. The station I was told to sit at when I had to go back was dirty from the day before. Clipped tips were all over the floor, the towel from the day before was on the station with clippings and acrylic drops. The tools from both visits were not clean and rusty. The nail brushes to wash your nails were all first and has that reddish algae that builds up at the base. I gave 2 stars because the man to redid my nails was very nice! I will definitely not be going back to that salon.

I had acrylics with gel polish and one nail repair and was charged $45, my friend that I was with received acrylic with gel polish and a design on her nail and it was $40 so the balance in what they were charging was clearly wrong and they were just trying to make up for themselves because they're probably struggling with covid just as I am which is why I do not appreciate being gouged the way that I was I will go to another salon where they will be more gentle with my hands and the price of the service.

I've been coming to Cindy's for 23 years, my first manicure was when I was 5 years old. I love them…read morelike family! They're more old fashion, but they take great care of you. They have these big black cushioned computer chairs but will find ways to make you feel comfortable. They have the pedicure buckets but their massages are next level. If you ask for water/juice/tea they bring it. And have a small tv that will typically have a good movie on! They are very detailed but if there's anything you want for your experience ask and they do it. As I got older there's trends I like and typically if I show them a photo they get really close. Another thing is time, they take care of every cuticle and your nails will go through some processes so it be may be more to the time consuming side. If you're in a rush let them know ahead of time. But a full set mani-pedi from them runs anywhere between 1-2.5 hours and about $70-90 without a tip (which use to be a lot less for the longest but they have to increase prices because competition and the economy). They are the most integral. Do sweet and actually care about their work. I might have special treatment but kindness goes a long way with them! Fills start at $40+ and fills run you about $25 flat (cash only)

I decided to try Viet Nails today and I'm glad I did. I was a walk in and they were obviously busy, a good sign right? When I finally got a chair the technician was easy to understand and I requested their "Regular Pedicure" with regular polish. They had a good selection of polish colors. The leg/foot massage was very thorough with considerable pressure not just a few weak passes. The polish was applied precisely. I feel that the price for the service I received was fair and tipped the tech well, after all I was in the chair for 1 1/2 hours. I will be back and will likely get a manicure too.
