My wife was getting frustrated at our previous nail place. They were not bad, but they ended up becoming a bit inconsistent. She tried this spot a couple weeks ago and wanted to go back. She said I might not love the fact that they don't have massage chairs for pedicures, and that is a bit of a bummer, but honestly this place is much better in my eyes. The price is killer. I am new to the state and felt it was going to be difficult to find a nice nail salon. I went to a different one and they were ok. I found Red Bottle Nail Salon on Yelp and they have great reviews, their website is very informative and they were clear about their request with booking appointments and cancellation policies. When I walked into the salon, the interior is very beautiful. The wait area was clean, and nice cushioned seat to sit on while you wait. I was greeted by my nail technician and she was very kind, professional, and she brought me over to sit in one of their comfortable, seat. My pedicure was super relaxing and super amazing. Not too far from the pedicure seating area is "The Nail Bar" so cute and with two TV's where patrons can watch what's on TV if they choose to. Then, the gel manicure, at the nail bar, was another relaxing and amazing experience. My nails look so beautiful. I love that they use natural ingredients, which is great for our wellness. This is my new spot for getting dip done. I think the nail tech is Kat (when i book the appointment, Kat's name shows up on my confirmation text as my nail tech). I've gotten her the 3 times I requested dip, and she does a really good job. She is also very attentative and already recognized me the 2nd time I went in. She is consistent with her work and checks in on whether I like the shaping and color before continuing. I also appreciate that all the staff there are super friendly and the place is clean. They offer drinks (bubbly, wine, tea, water) with any service. And there's a reward program when you pay with cash. I love supporting local small businesses and so glad that I stumbled on this nail salon. It's tucked away in a small plaza which I didn't even realize had a nail salon. Red Bottle Nail Bar was able to accommodate us as walk-ins during the hectic Christmas week, no small feat in itself, while also maintaining the highest safety standards with COVID-19. There are glass dividers between you and your Manicurist. They space all patrons out to maintain social distancing. We were pleased they were able to provide us an extra mask as the one we had gotten wet. Our nails turned out fabulous! And getting the holiday gift certificate was a very nice touch. Best and cheapest pedicures in Pierce County! $35 gets you a paraffin dip, massage, hot stone massage, exfoliation, hot towels, and pretty polished toes! A similar treatment cost $40 more at another location and my polish was bumpy and gross and I got abandoned in the chair for 20 minutes. Lol They only take appointments so plan accordingly! Thi worked on my mani and pedi meticulously but I still had polish on my hand cuticles. My Pedi looked fine, although I would have preferred longer soak in the " bombed" water in order to get more of the calluses off. The Pedi setup is very nice and the seats, plush and comfy. Having been to Red Bottle Nail Bar 3 times now, I can honestly say that I've enjoyed the quality of service performed. Thao and Tiffany have performed SNS dip dip for me. I really appreciate that my nails are thin yet strong and natural looking. Thao spends quality time performing a very thorough manicure and hand massage with the SNS service. The interior of the salon is true to its name- bar style. There are approximately 6 bar stations with barstools where the nail services are provided. Dishonest, Doesn't stand by their work, Not clean. I actually went here twice to really give it a chance. First time I went the powder was a little lumpy because of the ambre. The grow out was just ok it lifted a bit and there was something that got under the nail causing a small green patch. When I made the appointment the second visit I decided to do the French manicure. She took a lot of time. Probably filed my natural nail bed way too much except the green spot. Jury is still out on this I bought some cream to kill any bacteria. My appointment said it would cost $50. After it was done she told me it was $60. There is nothing on their price list that costs $60. So I questioned it. She then spoke a different language to someone else then looked at me and said. ok I will do it for $55. Still perplexed I looked at the price board and said that was not what I set my appointment for. I paid the $55 they looked decent so I moved on. Less than a week, broken nail. They were a little thinner than I like. I wasn't surprised at the break. Stopped in to get a quick repair and I was greeted with. We don't do repairs. Then after I questioned the lady put down her phone which was playing her soap opera and hastily and begrudgingly fixed my nail. She was filing so fast she cut my finger and glued the nail to my skin. She was really wanting to get back to that soap opera. I have NEVER had a salon not fix their work that close to a fresh set for free. The charge was $5. The 3 times I have been to the salon there are people sitting around waiting for customers to come in. See the photos in the bathroom. YUCK. These people have plenty of time to keep their business clean. Lots of signs around the store asking for cash because they are a small business. How about you appreciate the customers that come into your location and maybe clean the place up? This place is now a hard pass for me I will never go back. By the way. I reached out to them to discuss the price discrepancy and never heard back. Dishonest pricing and surprise upcharges here and there have made me leave other salons. I will never be ok with dishonesty. PS. no real chairs for getting your pedicure. UPDATE: 2 days after I wrote this review. Two more broken nails one is bleeding. Went a couple times, first time was with Kat (I don't think she works there anymore since I couldn't book her for my second appointment). She was very detailed in her work even with my basic gel manicure. Kept checking in on if I liked the shape and she made sure the polish was perfect. They lasted exactly two weeks before lifting/chipping. Second time I went, I was worked on by two ladies, both super nice as well. I did feel rushed towards the end when getting the gel polish applied and it ended up not being very smooth at all and the top coat was uneven. It's been just a little over a week and the polish is chipped/lifting. I do appreciate how clean this nail salon is, their fair prices. and their nice customer service. I just wish more care was put into my nails since the gel didn't even last me a week and a half. I will likely come again for special occasions and do like a dip but for my routine gel polish, I'll do myself to make sure they are smooth and last at least 2 weeks. read more

I am generally really picky about the shape and application job, and she just so happens to be a perfectionist. My nails always last 3 week or more, and never chipped or anything. The owner and her staff made me feel welcome from the minute I walked in and confirmed my appointment. I felt so relaxed after my jelly mani/pedi and they gave me coffee while I was there. They took care of the terrible gel job the last place did, and now I look great! They took their time (this is a good thing, I hate feeling rushed) and I nearly fell asleep with how relaxed I felt. They asked me at several points if the shape was correct, and gave me options for how things should look. Prices are transparent, she broke down what each thing cost and let me know any damage within ten days can be repaired without charge. Lot parking, very clean shop. Ugh! So freaking cute. If I lived in Washington, this would be my go to salon. First, the ambiance is just so great. It's clean, bright and they have an actual " nail bar." They play everyone's favorite shows, Fixer Upper and the cooking channel. Additionally, I had a complimentary (unless I some how paid for it in other ways ) glass of white wine. Second, the service itself was really good. You get to choose from orange, green tea or lavendar scents for your products and the ladies do really nice service. The owner/at least two of the girls speak really good English, too. Third, the price. I paid like, 72$ for an adult Mani pedi and a kiddo Mani pedi.
