Blossom nails is simply okay, I went with a friend after calling ahead for a gel manicure. When we got there the shop was crazy busy and we were separated. I was pretty bummed that despite making an appointment we weren't able to sit next to each other. We were hoping to catch up but didn't have that chance. I showed my tech a photo of what I wanted, a chrome white nail was my goal. They didn't have chrome- which is no big deal, but what they recommended was not at all close and they told me that it would be an extra $15. I passed on what they wanted. My friend was able to get a full set before I was half way down with my gel. I'm pretty sure I counted about 9 layers of polish that went on. My nails were so thick by the end of it, and I had been nicked twice. The blood stayed under the polish for the entire month that I had my nails on. I can't say that I would return. I'm bummed that we were rushed to pick colors, that we didn't get to sit next to each other, that I was nicked, and that my gel took so long. Finding a nail salon is hard, with it being so busy it's clear that people like coming here. Maybe it was the person I got? read more

I stopped in to Blossom Nails while on a business trip, based on Yelp reviews. I wasn't sure what to expect when I drove up. It's located in kind of a run down strip mall. When I walked in, the interior wasn't much more impressive. It also is rather run down looking so I was a bit concerned about the service level. No need for me to be concerned. I was a walk in and I waited less than 10 minutes. The owner did my gel manicure and she did a fabulous job. She took her time, was very detailed, and it's obvious she takes great pride in her work. The customers on either side of me were regulars. Both were well-dressed and seemingly rather well-off women who chatted with their nail techs, sharing stories about their lives. Both had been coming to the salon for years. One woman leaned over to me and told me how lucky I was that the owner was doing my nails. The service was average price, around $40 before tip. The owner gave me a 5% discount for paying in cash. All the staff were very friendly and it's clear they have a loyal customer base. Trina is great! I am diabetic and can't trim my own toe nails. Most salons want you to pay for a complete Pedicure, but all I want is a nail trim. They did just that and for cheap too! I will never go any where else, unless they become unavailable permanently.!!! read more

You walk into this modest nail salon at the end of a mildly questionable strip mall - but once you walk in and find the Edina moms with their LV and Gucci handbags ... you know the standards have to be high with the group here. I don't get mani and pedis often, especially being a single mom so my anxiety was high gambling on this place. The ONLY reason I seek one out anymore is ingrown toenails and I can't do French lines all by myself. Tammy went to town on my feet! So happy she got them out because I am a big baby doing it myself. Paint job was solid and the rest of the staff was friendly. I will take a gamble again in 4-6 months when I am looking for my bi-annual treat. Try them out! read more

Staff was able to accommodate a last minute walk in for two people on a busy Saturday morning. Our nail techs were so friendly and welcoming to us Chicagoans! I got dip nails and my daughter got gel nails. In Chicago we ask for "no chip" but apparently that's not a thing in MN haha.. It's the same thing but they just call it gel nails. Prices were very affordable and it seemed like a very welcoming environment. Highly recommend! read more

As a guy, I had never had my nails done. So I was a bit nervous going to a nail shop to have my nails painted. Thankfully I chose the right business for my first time. Diane helped me navigate the whole process and I ended up getting gel color and a manicure. She explained each step of the process and it was all very organized. I was also shocked that the price was lower than I expected. Needless to say I LOVE them. I have been showing them to anyone who will look! I will definitely be back. Dont sleep on Blossom! This place was great! The people were great, the conversation was flowing, it was an all around good experience. They have a decent selection of colors and say they are able to do all of the popular nail designs and enhancements of today. It's not in the most visible or pristine spot of town, but don't let that fool you. My tech was very professional, quick, and did a really good job. I got a fill, 3 different colors, and was in and out in 50 minutes. I will be coming back on a regular basis. read more

All the reviews are true. This place is the best!!! I'm not a regular nail attender so I was looking at multiple places before settling on this one and I'm so happy I chose this place. The staff were friendly. Kim particularly did an amazing job and was lovely to converse with. My SIL and niece really enjoyed themselves too. The nail tech even painted cute little palm trees on my niece's toes that looked absolutely amazing! The place is spacious and doesn't feel cramped like some salons. The staff was great. Their prices were reasonable. This place is a little diamond in Richfield. I would highly recommend! read more

Ive gone to dozens of nail salons around the twin cities and I've found my favorite. I love it here! I see Trina and she is amazing, we are always talking and laughing. You will want to make an appt, they do take walk ins but appts are much better and less wait! I always have crazy ideas and pics and Trina always does AMAZING! I went during Covid, after they were allowed to open at a 50% capacity. I was very surprised and impressed by how strict they followed guidelines for safety. It's by appointment only via phone. I was able to get same day appointment. The second I walked in, I was greeted and instructed to use hand sanitizer. They took my temperature. Then I had to fill out a consent form saying I am not sick, etc. I giggled a little because it felt like I was signing my life away, but safety first. The place was quiet, with only few customers allowed in at once. They were good at telling people to wait outside if you don't have an appointment. The nail techs also had to go through a barbicide covid-19 certification. Everyone wore masks, to include the customers. Overall, a very good Covid experience. read more

Stopped through the area for a few days and booked this salon based on yelp reviews earlier in the week. I booked a fill and design with Trina because of the pictures people posted with their reviews. She was double booked and asked if her husband, Son, could do my nails. He did an amazing job and even fixed a broken toe nail. I'm pretty particular when it comes to nails and service and they were excellent with both. They're a great husband/wife team- kind, excellent work, and great price. read more

I have been to Blossom Nails a few times now with my friend and it has been perfection every time. Between the two of us we have had a regular manicure, a gel manicure, dip manicure, full set and a fill. Nancy does my acrylics currently and her attention to detail is amazing. The prices are great for the great work they do. So much better than the spotty work at more expensive nail salons. This is the spot! read more

Absolutely LOVED and HIGHLY recommend Blossom Nails. I've lived in the Edina area for quite sometime and haven't found a nail salon that I loved. However, that changed today! I called last minute, on a Sunday might I add, to see if there was any availability to get a manicure done. They squeezed me in last minute! When I walked in the salon, it was a friendly environment and I immediately felt welcomed. "Son", my nail tech, was patient and considerate when I asked him to measure my nails or what dipping powers was! Son showed me nothing but kindness and patience. The owner Trina and Son also allowed me to get a pedicure done past 5pm (their closing time). I went down the street from Blossom for a set. Won't call them out here. I was not happy with the set at all. I walked into Blossom to see if they could fix them. Nina did such a great job and all of the employees there are so kind. She fixed my nails and went back a second time and made my appointment with Nina and again, superb job. I've never had a bad manicure or pedicure here. The price is very fair and if you pay cash they give a small discount. They do not rush you and do the best gel nails in town. I would highly recommend - and, I'm super bummed we moved and this nail salon is no longer convenient. read more

I got a full set with gel polish. I loved this salon. My sister and I went as walking right at 10:00 when they opened and we were in right away. I loved this place because our nail techs did not force us to have conversations. I work overnight shifts so I was exhausted and just wanted a manicure. I was so thankful she let me set the pace for conversation! Same with my sister! We loved how our nails turned out and will definitely be going back for our next manicure! read more

ended A week of fun in MN at Blossom Nails before we made the trek home to Wisconsin. We all brought in pictures of what we wanted and left with exactly what we asked for! DEFINITELY COME HERE! 1. Best prices in Minneapolis that I was able to find (regular acrylic full set starts at $35) 2. High quality. Son did my nails and did a great job 3. I have an invisible disability and they were accommodating to my specific needs They accepted my walk-in but it was busy, good problem to have, best to call ahead even if just by 20 minutes but not a requirement. Love supporting sincere small businesses who don't charge an arm and a leg. Especially with the way full set prices are rising nowadays. Most other places start at $50/set and that's on the LOW end!! i'm new to the area and found this place on yelp, i walked in and they were super busy so they were kind enough to squeeze me in an hour later. i have had trouble in the past with nail techs commenting on how small and awful my nails are so i'm always timid when going to a new place. I had made a joke about how small my nails were in this salon and the woman doing my nails said "don't say that!!! they're beautiful!!" it was such a small gesture but really made me happy. I also got tips put on and this is hands down the longest they have EVER stayed on and they still look so good. I would 10/10 recommend this place! read more

In from out of town and needed an acrylic fill. Took sister-in-law with for a plain manicure. Chose this place based on price, proximity, and price. They were good because they fit us in, but we were a little rushed... So we understand. Charged $30 for an acrylic fill with gel polish. She got regular polish for hers for $14. Mine turned out very good... The shape, thickness, and length were the way I requested. Had to fix some lifting, but the nail tech was very accommodating and cordial when I pointed it out. Hers, the polish took a very long time to dry... Upwards of 2 hours, even for regular polish, which smudged in some places. The place wasn't fancy, but it was very clean. I would definitely return to this nail salon. read more

I have been at this Nail Salon 3 times now, for a first set, gel fill and then pedicure. They have made every visit feel great and I love how they do everything. Their acrylic nails are thin (which I love) and have received so many compliments and people believe they are my own natural nails. Vicky does a great job!! I got their deluxe pedicure last night (Spa Pedicure) and they really spend time on your feet. Daniel really knows how to massage the legs and feet without making it uncomfortable and ticklish. I also love that they have the liners they put in the tub to soak your feet in, this just makes it so much cleaner and gives me peace of mind. I recommend this little shop plus it's cute and clean and they don't push you extra services. read more

My girlfriend gave me a 1 hour session as a gift, so I was excited. My massage therapist was late to the appointment because she was eating. She didn't seemed too "thrilled" to massage me vs my girlfriend as she probably thought it was for her. As the massage began, she showed signs of either being sick with constant clearing of her throat noises and sniffling. I made a comment about it and she stated she has some "food allergies" and had just finished eating. The noises continued and then began yawning a bunch on top of it as if she was tired and/or bored. The music was really low in the room, so I could hear everything. It wasn't a good experience at all and will definitely not recommend this place. If i find the massage therapist's name, I will update this and/or add it. I gave an extra star because of the people in front. - Anthony

The design inside is beautiful - so light and bright with lovely touches natural wood, gold and natural wood. So much natural light inside! I worked with Helen Victoria for my hair and she was so responsive and helpful leading up to my wedding day. She had a great process to help me decide on my final look and offered a trial to ensure we were both confident in it being perfect for the big day. My mother in law and best friend had their hair done by Molly and were equally impressed with their results! All of us had our makeup done by Michelle Sachs and she is so good! The makeup looked stunning and held up all day but felt so light on our skin. In addition to all of us being very happy with how we looked, we were also so well taken care of by the entire staff at the salon. They ensured we had the coffee, tea or water needed at all times, they allotted space for my wedding dress for the day and allowed us to get ready in one of the open esthetician rooms and even relax in the break room when we were all ready for the event. Everyone showed us so much warmth! I would highly recommend this salon and specifically Helen Victoria, Molly, and Michelle!

I'm particular about the health of my natural nails so this seemed like a good option. Salon: 3/5 Beautiful decor and comfortable seating. Standard Pedi and manicure booths. Neutral colors, cool lighting and soothing music. Path to the bathroom was surrounded with boxes on both sides and all kinds of mess. Bathroom itself was nice and big. Service 3/5 The first time I had a walk in with Heidi. She was personable, provided good recommendations. One downside: I later discovered some nails were uneven to the touch; not so much the appearance. For my fill, it was 10 mins. over my appointment time. No biggie however unacknowledged as well. Tou completed my fill. I preferred her gel building technique, the nails were equally layered and smooth. There was a language barrier which made it awkward at times. She was a bit rough w/the filer which she apologized yet continued to file just as rough. I had to redirect her again and my skin was red and bruised afterwards. Price 3/5 To my surprise, the fill cost was the cost of my first set $70. Fills are typically cheaper. I went to double check on their services form, the cost of a fill wasn't advertised. Leaving me to question whether they were charging as they saw fit. I base this off overhearing another interaction as well. Overall 3/5 I value personable, professionalism with transparent prices. My second nail set is beautiful and even however I don't see myself returning.
