I called the owner and we talked about flowers, gardening and Mom. The flowers she arranged for church service and cemetery were ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! We got so many compliments on them. I called this place for bouquets for my son's birthday party. I gave her a picture of what I was thinking and she provided me something completely different. Even when I was speaking with her (the owner) she seemed annoyed at my request. When I came to pick up the flowers she was talking about me for 10 minutes on how bad my taste is in flowers in the back to an employee while I was waiting for someone to come help me. I needed to send flowers to a friend who works in Dennis to celebrate her first day on the job. Blossom Florist was nearby. The reviews I read on Yelp and Google weren't the greatest, but I decided to take a chance anyway. The delivery was quick and the flowers were a great surprise. Over a week later and they're still in great shape. The only complaint I had from the recipient was that the handwriting on the card was difficult to read. Most of my stars come from the fact that I literally walked into Blossom's on Thanksgiving afternoon and was like, "I need a bouquet for a hostess!" And then I walked out 15 minutes later with a lovely handcrafted centerpiece. The missing star is bcs I didn't really feel like I got much guidance or support from the staff. The last time I got a centerpiece (at a similar place), the girl helping me was grabbing different vases and flowers and chit chatting about what looked good. Here, when I sort of asked about one vase, the woman just grabbed it and started throwing flowers in it. But hey, maybe I expect waaaay too much from pleasant, pretty local flower shops. I ordered baloons for my mothers 90th Birthday yesterday. She received 4 laytex balloons and 4 mylar balloons each attached to 1 ribbon. Nothing special at all. They told me there was a 42.00 minimum and a 10.00 delivery charge when I called. It seemed steep but we really wanted her to get balloons. She has huge flower gardens so flowers weren't something she didn't need more of. When I ordered I told them I wanted as much as could be sent for the money. They sent me a picture and what she got was looked like 10.00 worth of balloons and this morning the 4 laytex balloons had already deflated. It was a huge dissapontment and a waste of money. If you want balloons, you can purchase them from Stop and Shop for 2.00 a piece and have someone pick them up. However, for $60 of flowers, the bouquet was equivalent to a $10.99 bouquet at stop and shop. Not worth the money at all. Better to go to local grocery store or Trader Joe's to purchase. I'm not from the area so I found this florist by a Google search and thought I would give them a try. I ordered a fall arrangement and had it delivered to my mom for her birthday. To say it is gorgeous is an understatement. The arrangement was in a nice square basket and chock full of beautiful fall colored flowers and they were arranged perfectly. I received the same terrible level of service as Kim for Mother's Day. My mom didn't receive her flowers until this afternoon (Monday!). They called me this morning to apologize and claimed they ran out of flowers. If I had known they were going to run out of flowers, then I wouldn't have used them. Anyway, the woman said they would deliver the flowers right away, as in this morning and then call me to confirm delivery. 1) They didn't deliver them until this afternoon (my mom lives 1/2 mi from this place); and 2) the guy who delivered them took after after he buzzed my mom's doorbell. Nice touch. Anyway, I should not have used these guys because we, too, used them for our wedding in the past. Unless you like added stress on your wedding day (and, hey, who doesn't?), then I would never use this shop. They don't care about the customer. read more

Thank you, thank you thank you! I called Blossoms because I wanted to send flowers to a dear brother-in-law who is battling stage 4 cancer. My request was to deliver flowers to "make him smile". He is drinking lemonade to buffer the aweful taste of food due to his illness. Through discussions we decided to send a large margarita glass filled with bright yellow flowers, fresh real lemons and even straws, The arrangement was hand delivered and just perfect! Sorry to say I was VERY disappointed with the quality of the flowers I received and then extra disappointed when the owner basically told me that my sister should not have gone through a flower service, but called directly. I guess she didn't spend enough money for him to give us a good quality selection. Roses were curled, alstro was dog-eared, etc etc. He stated that the flower services (FTD, Teleflora), take too much profit and therefore he cuts down on the number of flowers he puts in boquets. (and uses a LOT of cheap filler) read more

She was held up in the hospital an extra day so when they were scheduled to be delivered there was no one there. We ordered an arrangement of lavender flowers to be delivered to our mother for Easter. The arrangement that was delivered was very pretty, but was nothing like I ordered. The description of my order was "All-around arrangement with lavender roses and daisy poms; purple Peruvian lilies (alstroemeria); accented with assorted greenery." What was received was a tulips in assorted colors. I specifically wanted the lavender arrangement as that is our mother's favorite color. I was not notified of the change. If I had been contacted to let me know that they did not have what I ordered, that would have been acceptable. I will not order from this florist again. read more

I agree with Jamie and Kim... they were terrible, mixed up the delivery date, they showed up the day i ordered it when my mother wasnt there and were rude when they called and said the flowers would be fine outside for a couple days. and then when the said they were going to deliver it on the RIGHT day,(Mothers day) they never showed up or called. When i called to cancel the order and get my money back - the man with the accent told me it took three days, was abrupt and hung up on me. I will never use them again. read more

I would never reccommmend this Florist to anyone, I oredered Flowers for my husband birthday, I asked if they would be deleivered at 4 or 4;30 Pm Were left on my front porch in the hot sun, the side porch is shady and his Birthday is today and they are some flowers that are wilthed. I ordered all of my flowers for my wedding from Blossoms, and they were quite nice for a reasonable price. The woman who arranged the flowers, Bonnie, was wonderful to work with and did a great job. So why am I not giving 5 stars and a rave review? The owner, Jim, is a little difficult to work with as a wedding florist. He kept changing the price and informed us (two weeks before our wedding) that he wouldn't be able to provide the flowers we had requested, and that we'd have to choose new flowers. This would not have been such a terrible thing except that there are no other flowers that are the same or even a similar color as blue hydrangeas, which also happen to be a very common choice for a late summer wedding on the Cape. Had he warned us in the beginning that we wouldn't be able to get hydrangeas in Sept., we might have been a bit more understanding. Instead he waited until the last minute to tell us this and to inform us that the cost would be ten times as much if we insisted on sticking with our original choice. In the end we got what we wanted, and ended up paying only a little more than the original "quote" but his lack of professionalism created a lot of stress for no good reason. read more

Sent my mom flowers on her birthday from Blossom's a few weeks ago. The bouquet was absolutely stunning! They had a hard time getting an answer on the initial delivery so instead of dropping them off in the cold (as many places would) they held on to the bouquet and tried again next day. I would rate the your Flowers, If My Beloved 80 Year old Mother received them on Friday may 8th as I was promised, By your website. They did not arrived that day so I called your Customer Serves #1 800-736-3383 and was tolled that you can't deliver to the address I provider. So I ask the nice agent, if I could Cancel my Order, or to change it and have Flowers deliver to my Sweet 98 year old Mother-in-law, so She put me on Hold and then apologies to me and tolled me that they would be delivered on Saturday the 9th, to My Mother,the day before Mother day, so I agreed and said that would be Find. I know that Mothers Day is the busiest time of the year for them, and one of the most Profitable. I also put a request in on your website, I did get a response from Jake informing me that my flowers that I request for my beautiful Mother would be delivered on May 10th Mothers Day. And guess what, My great Mother who waited all day on the Saturday for the delivery of the flowers I ordered from you NO FLOWERS and NO FLOWERS on Sunday as well. so I Called Customer Serves a third time as they ask me again to give a chance to make it right and I did, and they Guaranteed me that tuesday my Mother would get the Flowers. Tuesday came and went No Flowers I called Customer Service 4th(OR should it be called NO Customer Service) call me a Sucker I gave them one More Chance for thursday and Guess what No flowers(the Moral of this Story (FTD=F**K the Delivery) alway call a local Florist and Never use FTD!!!!! read more

I had the worst customer service I have experienced in a long time when I ordered Mother's Day flowers from Blossoms. I ordered flowers online a few days in advance for a Saturday delivery. Towards the end of the day, I was surprised that I had not heard from my mother that she had received the arrangement. I called and left a message and also sent an email. No one returned my call and since they were closed Sunday I called Monday morning and learned that the arrangement was not delivered because they ran out of flowers. I was understanding and they said they would definitely deliver the flowers that day (Monday). I asked if they wouldn't mind upgrading my arrangement because of the inconvenience and the person I spoke with said "absolutely". I thought it was pretty bad no one called me on Saturday to say there was a problem with the order so that I could make other arrangements, but they seemed to be making things right. By 4pm, I had not heard from my mother, so I called Blossoms to find out what was going on. The phone was busy for about 20 minutes. I finally got through and asked for the status of the order. The woman I spoke with said she would call the driver and return my call immediately. She did not call me back so I called again, and got through at about 4:45 (15 minutes before closing) and the woman told me that she couldn't get in touch with the driver because his cell phone was off but that he was due back into the office in the next 5-10 minutes and she would call me as soon as he returned. I finally got a call at 6:30 informing me that the flowers were delivered. At this point, I was pretty disgruntled after spending so much time babysitting the order, but I was even more upset when my mother sent me a thank you email with a photo of the flowers. The arrangement was pitiful, not at all what I ordered and far from the "upgrade" I was promised. it was mostly ferns and filler with a small and odd assortment of a few roses and carnations. Tuesday morning I called and ask for a full refund. The whole thing was so disappointing and frustrating, and worst of all my mother got a sub-par gift for Mother's Day. read more

The flowers were left on the doorstep in the rain when we were right inside the door. I had all the shades up and the front door was open and there were 5 of us in the living area. I called to tell them someone left it out in the rain and he asked for my address and I gave it to him and he said thanks and hung up. He didn't apologize or tell me he'd send more or anything. So I called back and then I mentioned that I had more to say like that the $100 centerpiece I ordered 2 weeks prior had cheap replacements for the expensive flowers I paid for. They used red carnations instead of red roses. They stuck in red mums instead of red lilies. They had yellow lilies instead of yellow cymbidium orchids. I also ordered the deluxe so I would get more roses and lilies. It was mostly mums and carnations...So when I went in they offered to fix it with some other cheap replacements, I asked if it would be cheaper, and he told me roses cost the same as orchids! I ordered this 2 weeks ago so that I would be able to get what I want. Luckily I got a full refund, but I will not be doing business with these guys again. read more

Ordered flowers from here for my mother-in-law for Mother's Day. We placed the order on Th. for it to be delivered on Sat. - according to their website, this was plenty of time. Talked to my mother-in-law yesterday and the flowers never arrived. Finally got a hold of the shop today and were told they ran out of flowers yesterday and would we like the flowers to be delivered today instead? If we never called, they never would have delivered the flowers - and then they gave us a hard time when we asked to be reimbursed for the delivery fee. When I contacted Blossoms they told me they "ran out of flowers" and that they would deliver to her that day (Sunday). My mother called me later that day to say she received them but they were very sloppy ... on Monday morning she called me to tell me they all died!!!!! I ordered flowers for my mom for this past Mother's Day from Blossoms. I ordered them on Friday - 5/6 and was told that they would be delivered either Friday afternoon or Saturday. My mother received flowers (not the ones I ordered) at 4:00 pm on Mother's Day. I called to speak to the owner who was extremely rude and non-apologetic. He told me he ran out of flowers (they didnt mention that on Friday when I ordered specific types of flowers) and that she was lucky she received any flowers but that they did deliver them (albiet almost 2 days late). I told him I was unhappy and would like to be compensated somehow. He told me that next time I traveled to the Cape to come in and get some flowers. Never again will I use this florist and I advise others not to as well. read more

I received a vase of not so fresh flowers from Blossoms this week. They were sent by a family member who lives in Maine. My daughter called the shop and left a message that the flowers were not very fresh, in fact they look very tired. WIth no response from them. The roses that were in the bouquet died the next day. I feel very bad about this, the person that ordered and paid for them thought they would be quite cheerful, I'm sure. I would look for a different florist. Blossoms gets a thumbs down for the not so fresh, fresh flowers and lack of response from the shop. Get your flowers elsewhere. read more
