I even went to a beauty supply store to see if I could buy a wig or some kind of hair topper and the employees were so sympathetic and asked if it was a haircut done by someone who hated me. I cry almost every day. I can't leave my house without some kind of hat and I'm starting a new job soon. My confidence is at an all time low. Please learn from my mistake and NEVER walk into this salon. They clearly employ unprofessional people. She gave me tips on how to wash my daughter's very long hair, only took off what was agreed upon, and styles her hair beautifully with two braids after the cut. The salon has cool decor. She never came by to say I'm so sorry I'm running late. She's extremely rude, and passive aggressive. I gave them a second chance because the owner was apologetic. This time around I was waiting patiently and had to leave because I had a prior engagement. I didn't expect to be waiting an hour after my last experience. Maria lacks professionalism and respecting a client's time. These are basic standards in any service industry. Sorry but I am not going back. A curly girl herself, Eunice understood exactly what I wanted. While I usually blow dry my hair semi-straight into submission, I need a good cut with movement and long layers for when humidity wakes my hair up, and also for when I just want to let it dry naturally.
