The restaurant is very dark and the seating at the boots is terrible. Came in on a cold and rainy night. Was greeted at the door promptly and asked how many, I said 1 for dinner and was asked if I'd like to sit at the sushi bar. I said I'd like a table and got a little attitude I was taken to the first table and sat. This was bad for 2 reasons, 1) it was very cold and every time the door opened I was blasted in the face with cold air 2) it is Very dark in there, like a night club dark, and there wasn't a light within 5 ft of the table I ordered the rainbow combo and started with a miso soup to chase away the cold. The soup was very salty, like it wasn't diluted enough. Was tasty just a little too salty for me The Rainbow combo comes with nigiri in the form of 2 tuna 2 snapper and 2 salmon -and a rainbow roll Duh! The fish was all fresh and was really large pieces. I have a big mouth and usuallY shove the nigiri in in one bite but I had to cut these in half. I added shrimp as yellowtail nIgiri as well to make a nice meal. Rainbow roll was very good as well Service was good, very quick and efficient So efficient the Waitress dropped off the check while I was eating No do you want more or dessert, here you go. BF ordered the rainbow roll & I ordered the South Beach Roll which is wrapped in cucumber rather than rice. So a low carb option. Would not recommend the appetizer, bang bang shrimp.
