When you walk in you'll be greeted and quickly seated. One of my favorite parts about this restaurant is the speed to get your food. Our food showed up in less than a minute of placing the order. WOW!!! Greeted immediately when we walked in met with a sample of a sushi roll, followed by a miso soup... then another sample of a different sushi roll!! This is a dining experience that I will never forget. Very fast paced environment with friendly attentive service. If you've ever played the game PlateUp or Overcooked, this restaurant really reminded me of it. Our drink cups were always full and refilled promptly! We received two complimentary rolls and soup! Great food, just be prepared for the ambience. It's very loud and chaotic feeling. It's the opposite of relaxing. The food prep yells every few minutes when things are ready. You don't have a dedicated server, I think they all just run around to every table. You get a lot of free samples, which I wasn't expecting, so we ordered way too much food. I felt very pressured to order quickly, I wish I had looked at the menu prior to going. We ended up just picking a few rolls randomly and they were all very similar. Went to Sushi House on a Sunday afternoon. It was busy but, as is my custom, we chose the bar so was seated immediately . Service was prompt, and we had our first bites within five minutes. Actually, maybe less than five minutes because one of the servers brought around a free appetizer of some kind or another (which they did a couple more times too). It was yummy, and set the tone well. All the creations were fresh, arrived quickly, and were beautiful and tasty. My hamachi nigiri was high quality, and not stingy, which is kind of a barometer of overall quality. Downsides? Well, as is very common for the last 20 years, most of the maki rolls are really overdone (IMHO), with way too many ingredients that compete with each other for attention. This style of maki is popular though, especially with the drown-everything-in-soy-sauce crowd, so don't take my urge for simplicity and authenticity as law. Also, I don't remember being that impressed with the tuna (which was not ahi, and was, I think, bigeye). Anyway, I was pleasantly surprise. Great service and experience. As a non-local, I was surprised we were given a free roll and appetizers. Definitely not used to that! Still the MOST AMAZING SUSHI in Bentonville. We were visiting my aunt and we were greeted outside by a hostess who took our names and said it was a 15 minute wait. There were quite a few people standing waiting for a table outside and it was bustling indoors. For a Thursday evening this is always a good sign. And the servers all hustle with smiles. I have always been impressed with this restaurant. There were three pieces of complimentary sushi (might have been crazy crab or Sam's roll) on our table. Nice touch. They also gave us all each a small free bowl of miso soup upon ordering. Very tasty and again a well received thing. We had travelled all day since 5:30am and had not eaten much so I was gonna eat my arm off. This is going to sound like a lot of food but I was famished so no judging, you fantastic Yelp people. The sushi chef came over to help us fill out our order. Or maybe it was a very knowledgeable male waiter. He was able to tell us the market prices and upon ordering those he did ask if that (market price) was ok just because they were significantly more. I like the transparency. Sushi: Nigiri salmon roe (two pieces) Sweet shrimp (market price was maybe $12 for 2, it is a delicacy) Sea urchin/uni nigiri ($10 each market price yikes! I never do that but I have been craving it) Green dragon roll mmmmmm Cucumber roll (for my aunt) Side salad for aunt The sweet shrimp were the biggest pieces of shrimp nigiri I have ever had. Wow when I started to write this I realize I've been coming to this location for almost 20 years and I'm in my very early 30s so that must say something. This place never disappoints and I'm happy to try everything on the menu. You are always greeted upon arrival and very attentive service. You might feel a little rush on the servers end but they flip the tables in here fast and for good reason, they will have a line out the door if everyone stayed and lingered - not that kind of place. No kids menu is available here. They were going to charge me $16 for a small amount of just noodles with butter on them. Seriously? I had two kids with me and one of them is very picky. We ordered two california rolls for them instead of the overpriced noodles. I get it that california rolls are pretty low on the spectrum of reviewing sushi rolls but to be honest they were not that good. At $11 a piece I would have loved for them to be top notch. I ordered the vegetable noodles. They were good. Not awesome. I asked for a side of chili oil, it never came. I boxed it up and took it home. They did send out two complimentary partial rolls while we waited and I was starving so I ate them. I would have very much liked the acutal food we ordered to have been better quality then the freebies presented. I ordered chicken teriyaki and they did not have steam rice to serve with it so they gave me Chinese fried rice. The Chicken was dry on a bed of Lettuce. But the Chinese fried rice wasn't bad. I believe they pour too much of their house sauce on top of the sushi when they should allow us to dip it if we wish. And the sushi was not rolled tight enough, so some of them would start to fall apart when you pick it up. But I welcome you to come in and try. You might enjoy it more than I.
