First thing noticed was that the staff wasn't Asian... but don't let that deter you from the food as it was actually pretty good. The inside was clean and had about 10-12 tables to sit in the back room area as well as a sushi bar area. Service was really fast bringing out the food and they came around numerous times to check on us. This seems like a good place to order pick up, so curious to see their take out service. We'll definitely be back to try other food options in the future!

Came here for dinner with my family and it was a pleasant experience. My favorites were the Razorback Roll and the Takashi roll, it had a nice crunch mixed with the sauces drizzled on top, delicious. As for best presentation I liked the Centerton Roll. I forgot to take a picture, but the miso soup was flavorful. I have had miso soup at other restaurants and it's watered down, that is not the case here. The service was attentive and friendly. All of the staff had smiles on their faces when eye contact was made and when greeted. For me, the service is just as important as the food, if not more. I pay attention to how I feel when I am in the restaurant and I definitely felt welcomed. Also, the aesthetic was pretty, I enjoyed the painting on the walls, it made a statement without being too busy. The tables were clean and had pretty little trees for centerpieces. This may just be my new sushi spot, will definitely come back and hope you give it a try too :-)

Portions do not match price. Left still feeling hungry. Food is good. Just need to adjust their portions, especially for the bento box.

I've had Saiwok bookmarked for awhile as it was recommended by a fellow local friend that frequently dines here. I went with what the staff recommended for me. Customized Bowl - I chose Brisket with vermicelli noodles Imperial rolls (3) Brussel sprouts Lychee sangria Little did I know it was 3 separate dishes I was recommended In California when we order this dish (Bún Thịt Nướng Chả Giò), it comes with an eggroll on the side that gives you an option of pork or veggie. So when the cashier asked if I wanted to add imperial rolls, I was like sure I'd like pork please, I asked if there was anything else the recommended for me, The cashier made a mention that they had really good Brussels sprouts and so I said let's add that too! I added a Lychee Sangria to top my solo dinner, was handed a cup and told to sit anywhere I'd like and the food would be out shortly. I think I was a little taken back by my $54 solo tab for dinner but was hangry, The food came out shortly and it was 3 separate dishes. :O Imperial rolls were small but crispy and good. Brussels sprouts were indeed good but had alittle too much glaze dressing for me. The bowl came out and it was lacking on the brisket meat. It was filled with tons of vermicelli noodles! It did end up being way too much food for me. I ended up taking some Togo and mixed in the Brussels with the vermicelli salad bowl to take to the hotel for a late night snack. I would come back to try other things and maybe avoid ordering too much and ask if what is being suggested is too much for one person. The vibe inside is pretty chill. Ample parking outside.

I don't leave many reviews online but feel this needs to be posted…read more We order from Arkenseoul every time we visit Arkansas. Over the past few years, the quality and taste of the food has gone down while the prices have increased. Most recently, we ordered: kimchi jaeyook rice bowl, bahnbahn rice bowl, tteokbokki, japchae, and KFC. The rice bowls were both too sweet and salty. We took one bite of the tteokbokki and it was SO SALTY, inedible to eat more than one rice cake and had to be tossed! Japchae was flavorless. The KFC was also very salty. Not worth the price and will NOT BE COMING BACK!!! Very disappointed as we used to look forward to eating here. As a Korean American, I expect certain foods to taste a certain way to represent K-food. Arkanseoul is NOT a good representation of what K-food should taste like. Dear Arkanseoul, please taste the foods you are cooking and selling to customers.

I ordered the spicy chicken teriyaki with fried rice. Very salty and what I thought was teriyaki sauce on the bottom turned out being a lot of grease from the fried rice. We also had an order of 10 wings. Tasted like chicken from KFC. In summary, we spent $105 on a to go order for 2 kids and 2 adults. Lot of the food ended up in the trash.

Coming from California, I had low expectations for raw fish-based sushi in Arkansas, but when I got the occasional itch for sushi, I'd grab a good old American-style roll that is less fish than tempura flakes and sriracha mayo. It's not quite sushi, but it's still good. Hey, I'm not a total snob. I came to Kage with friends on a Saturday at 6 PM. The space is quite ample and could probably fit 80 people or so. It was surprisingly quiet, but a friend, who is a regular, says that the usual dinner rush happens a little later. The menu is expansive; they have a mix of American-style rolls, hand rolls, nigiri, sashimi, and hot dishes like udon and teriyaki. After a bout of decision paralysis, I ordered the sushi and sashimi combo. It came with 9 pieces of sashimi, 6 pieces of nigiri, and a spicy tuna roll. No mayo, no eel sauce, no tempura flakes. The service and presentation of the food were stunning, and I was really impressed by the quality of the fish and the price. I got a little bit of everything: salmon, tuna, yellowtail, shrimp, and other fish I do not know the names of (they were good though). I was stuffed at the very end and was honestly blown away by the reasonable price (all of it was under $30). Admittedly, the fish was not the ~*best*~ I've ever had, but it was fantastic for Arkansas (no shade to the state, but you are much farther away from the ocean than Los Angeles). My party also ordered dishes for the table, like shrimp tempura, veggie tempura, karaage, and takoyaki. They even threw in a complimentary crispy rice dish, which was a thoughtful touch. All of them were decent--pretty standard appetizers for a Japanese American place, though the shrimp tempura was more like a shrimp nugget (I believe it was chopped shrimp shaped into a log and fried). It wasn't bad, but not what I expected. That aside, I will definitely be coming back one more time before I leave NWA!
