All right so I've been here a couple times and the food is always just kind of mid but they're consistently mid so you can't really hate them for that. Have eaten here a few times. Tonight we had 2 hibachi chicken dinners, and some crab rangoons. Rice not cooked all the way, and very big pieces of over cooked chicken. Long piece of hair cooked in my chicken and didn't notice until I was pulling it out of my teeth. Crab Rangoons is way too much cream cheese and you can't taste any crab. Spent $62 on this meal and only could eat a few Rangoons. Okay.. I have only had this once before and it was so good that I HAD to come back. Well I went back and it didn't taste as good. It was still decent but not like "WOWWWW" as it was the first time. The atmosphere leaves a lot to be desired. It's pretty plain inside. I only order takeout, and it's the best fast casual Hibachi I've found in Northwest Arkansas. The portions of meat and rice are really good, but I feel they do skimp on the veggies. Another spoonful of veggies and I'd give them five stars. Prices are fair. One thing I don't like is that the Hibachi Chicken comes with Teriyaki sauce on it. I always request they leave that off. I've seen places that offer Hibachi Chicken and then also Teriyaki Chicken, but never one that only offered the latter. Good teriyaki and stir fry! Not the best atmosphere as the seating is in a cavernous room that is sparsely furnished, and the bathroom wasn't clean. They give you large chunks of chicken in the chicken teriyaki and the flavor is good. The fried rice is tasty but has very little egg and not very many veggies, so mostly rice. Love me some Hibachi style food and this place but the spot. I lived in Little Rock for a while but never went to that location. Heard about it opening in NWA so was delighted to try it. Glad I did cuz the food was GOOD! I had the Hibachi steak and chicken. Steak was well done and very tender. Chicken was not dry nor drenched in the teriyaki sauce. The fried rice was really good. I also had the Fried cheesecake Tempura....never had it before. I can't believe I missed out on this sweet devil of a treat in all my years of life. I'll be back each month to curb my need for hibachi style food. Oh my order total to $22 and some change. We finally made it! So happy we did! Ok first things first. The dining area is clean. That's important of course. If you come for the decor you'll be disappointed. It's pretty basic. We were greeted warmly as we entered the door. The young lady behind the counter was very helpful. We were checked on during our meal which is always nice. The gyoza was fried perfectly. It was very good although the prepackaged duck sauce was a bit of a let down. A good ginger sauce would have been great. I got the three meat dish. Steak, chicken and shrimp. It was very good. Very very good. The sauce on the chicken was sweet but not overly so. The steak was good and the shrimp was excellent. Again a ginger sauce for dipping would have really topped it off. The rice was great. It was tender and to me perfectly seasoned. I believe you'd enjoy this place. read more

They restaurant was completely empty besides three tables and yet it took forever to get our food. There was only one baby chair for the entire restaurant which was already being used. This is my favorite restaurant in Fayetteville AR. We brought 6 family members to this place and started off with the crab rangoons ,Shrimp Shumay and the Tayoyaki. Fantastic flavor for starters. I ordered the Hibachi chicken,steak and shrimp meal. Wow! The portion was more than I was expecting. Salmon and veggies were delicious! 1/4 mile off Highway 49 toward downtown. My husband and I ordered the Chicot Special Trio to share as an entree and the Shrimp Shumay as our appetizer. I was surprised when we were asked how we wanted the steak component of the Chicot Trio cooked. She told us it's New York Strip and they would gladly cook it medium rare and it was cooked perfectly medium rare. There was more than enough shrimp, chicken and steak for the two of us and two healthy servings of tender fried rice included. The Shrimp Shumay were fabulous!! I think there were 6 or 7 of them on the plate with a sweet and sour dipping sauce. The Shumay were perfectly crunchy on the outside and soft and flavorful on the inside. I am looking forward to trying other items on their menu. The one negative about Chicot is the atmosphere. There isn't much of one. There are a couple of Asian inspired wall hangings and an outdated paint color on the walls. Hopefully this is a temporary situation. read more
