Great dinner and brews in the onsite restaurant/brewery just steps away from our RV site. All the other guests were friendly and quiet. It seems this is a launching spot for ATV/side-by-side adventurers. We have a back hatch that was great for listening to the creek later in the evening. Bathrooms and showers were clean and sufficient, but I was surprised to find a sign at 10:30am saying they were closed for cleaning (just 30 minutes before checkout!). The flyer provided at check-in stated that the cleaning schedule would be posted at the RV Park office, but I checked the white board and it was not. Highly recommend to management to have a standard "closed for cleaning" hour(s) and that it not be just when people are trying to clean up and leave. CAUTION: This would have been a very convenient stop off the I90 between Kalispell and Spokane, HOWEVER, Apple Maps tried to take us over the Thompson pass into Murphy and then onto Nine Mile Road which is narrow and partially unpaved --per the signage near Murphy--, so we detoured and drove about 40 miles out of the way to enter on the West side of Wallace coming on I90 from around Kellogg. ALSO, Due to construction, the 6th Street access from old town is closed, as is the West bound I90 on-ramp on the east end of town, so the directions on the RV Park Website and Apple Maps are inaccurate at this time. Once you get to Wallace and take exit 61 or 62 off of I90, follow the "Nine Mile Road -- 6th Street" orange detour signs through old town from either exit 61 or 62 to enter the Park. Unfortunately, this info wasn't shared when we called the day before and verified the website driving directions were accurate.

Clean bathrooms, and there is a bar and restaurant steps away. The real drawback was how tight the spots were. Some seemed to have adequate space, although none were even close to private, but we were incredibly packed in. When we put out our slide, it was probably 24 inches from the awning of our neighbor. Can't say I've ever been as close to another vehicle before. Another annoyance was the prices had increased since we booked our reservation 6 months prior, and because you can't pay ahead of time, we had to pay the new rate. All things considered though, would recommend for a few days in Wallace, and I would definitely come back.

We made some hot dogs over the fire and did a little walking around. The pool looks nice (we always saw a lot of people swimming). The staff was always nice and kind. They really seem dedicated to having a nice campground. We were really impressed by the camp kitchen. We didn't bring anything we needed to cook, (besides the hot dogs) so we didn't end up using it but it looked nice/useful. If we happen to find ourselves in this area again we will definitely use it! It even had a microwave! The bathrooms were always clean and had warm water for showers. The cabin itself was nice. We rented a 6 person cabin. It was roomy with a double bed and 2 sets of bunk beds. The beds had the classic cabin style mattresses, but not too bad. It had a little heater attached, which was nice when it got a little chilly in the evening. Overall a very pleasant and nice experience! (A personal favorite: the front porch swing on the cabin: such a cute touch)

The place isn't fancy-schmancy full of rules and regulations or restrictions....its about YOU enjoying YOUR visit. We stayed at a couple KOA's, a Washington State Park, and several days in Yellowstone. THIS PLACE - HANDS DOWN - WAY WAY BETTER!!!! For our rig size, it was a close call and tight fit getting in, but once in our spot it was perfect. They got us in site 11 no problem. Is it an impersonal overly polished concrete and blacktop parking lot style RV Park with perfect level geometry/symmetry everywhere you look? No, but it was one of the best and most relaxing locations we've been so far. It's in the middle of a game preserve, so there are numerous deer routinely wandering around the area. Ahhh nature! As far as quiet goes, evenings were like a cemetery (in a good way). Just lots of peace and quiet to enjoy your surroundings. And the sunsets on the dock & beach! They are about as idyllic as you can get for lakefront property. We spent time swimming, kayaking, and just siting our on the dock enjoying the sunshine. I can speak for the internet/WiFi as we had great T-Mobile reception and so were only on our own hotspots the entire time. 60Mbit down / 8.9Mbit up. Perfectly suited to my purposes.

The campsites in the center row have you facing the backside of another camper and it's hook ups. There are pull thrus, back in sites, tent sites, and adorable log cabins for rent. Unbelievably disappointed I have been coming to this…read moreCampground for 5 years. The first two years were super great as Country Lane River Resort. The third year, the new owners, the two married couples took over, there were some stumbling blocks and some. We let that go and decided to go back the next year. That was 2023. In 2024, my group of about 65 women rented the entire tent circle plus about 10 other sites, which included five RV spots. We would quietly be enjoying meeting with our group in a circle, not blocking the public walkway and not disturbing anyone, when we would get harassed by a group of drunk folks that were completely disruptive. One woman specifically harassed our group for more than 30 minutes, walking back and forth, yelling into the circle, we actually invited her in at one point just so she would stop. I took this to the camp host and they said they would do something about it, but we ended our meeting early after her continued taunting. I am absolutely disgusted. We rented tent sites A-L and RV spots 4, 5, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, and 21 for July 17th through the 20th. The evening of the 17th was fairly uneventful. The evening of the 18th, the same woman from last year, with a larger group, came into our big circle screaming and asking what we were doing there and that we should leave and go meet somewhere else. This went on for over an hour and throughout the night. Then, someone dressed in a gorilla suit, with a large group of other drunks, was going to each of our campsites and scaring women. One of our group went to complain to the host and nothing was done about this. On this last day, the 19th, the campground hosted a live band, which we were not informed of, until the day we arrived; after paying over $3,200 to rent all of these sites, it would have been nice to have known this. When the live band went up, it was really no problem, the other campers seem to be willing to let us drive in and out of the campground. There were probably 40 people that were standing in line to get drinks as I was trying to drive out of the complex and as I was leaving, the drunk folks were nice enough to move out of the way so I could exit the campground but Chris, one of the owner's, stopped me screaming in my face and waving his hand that our group is no longer welcome here that we were a huge problem every year and that I needed to leave and not come back. I was shocked & disappointed we were being treated this way and he said that no one is allowed to come back into the campground until the band leaves. I personally have a disability and I was with another woman with disabilities and I have a handicap placard on my vehicle. It is beyond comprehension that someone would make me park my truck down the road and walk back to my camper. It's disgusting actually! We also had a woman who we later found out broke her fibula who was not allowed to ride back in a vehicle to her camper. I ask him what if there was an emergency and I needed to get out and he did not care. We were told that we were never allowed back at the campground, not that we didn't already make that decision for ourselves the night before, but I cannot believe that you could pay for a campsite and not have Camp hosts that are watching what's going on around the campground to make sure you're safe. There was also a point where we were told by some people looking to set up their tents that they we're told by the camp host that they could have any open spot in our Circle, even though we had reserved and paid for all of those spaces! I would not recommend anyone having children go to this Campground or anyone with disabilities or anyone who wants to be able to drive their truck back and forth from their campsite. If they have other plans, you will not be allowed to do so. I highly encourage the campground to have a host that walks through every night to make sure that no one is getting bothered by the other campers. I also strongly recommend that if the campground have an event, it be posted on the site and that the campers who have already paid for their spots be informed of what's about to happen so they can decide for themselves whether or not they want to be a part of that.
