We found what looks and is described as a stand alone house from the details and pictures. Only to get a call from somebody named Jackson to double check that it was OK with us that there were people living in the upstairs part of the house. He made it seem not a big deal because they had their own entrance however none of this is in the details on the listing. We have two small children who still take naps that wasn't going to work for us after talking it over with my husband when we called a few days later to let them know this wasn't going to work they told us that they cannot refund any of the money that we paid. $8000 is what Jackson took from me and my family never providing any stay for us that was described on the listing. We are now working out a plan with our lawyer to work directly with Vrbo but this has been by far the worst experience we have ever had with any rental company. I reached out to the owner of the company Steve Russo who I never got a callback from only to be told that Jackson is now the owner and I can only deal directly with Jackson. I am a firm believer in doing what is right and good and I am absolutely shocked that a company would take $8000 from a family with two children dealing with house repairs without even blinking or looking twice. This is the exact opposite of West North Idaho stands for and these people should be disgusted with themselves.

My wife and I stayed here from 8/22/17-9/3/17 and another couple joined us on 8/24/17-9/3/17. The three level townhome is ideal for any size group, with or without children.There are 4 master bedrooms each with full bathrooms.The entrance level or mid-level houses the garage, kitchen area, dining area, living area, 1/2 bath and large balcony with panoramic views of Lake Pend Oreille & the Cabinet Mountains.The upper level houses (3) MBR's, laundry room and a balcony off the main Master BR with the same panoramic views.The lower level houses a family area, dining area,1/2 bath, patio area with large grill and a hot tub.In the rear section of the lower level is the children's bunkbeds area and (1) MBR with a full bathroom. A member of our party had limited mobility and the included elevator was so much help for her in which to navigate the three floors! The townhouse also includes access to its community pool, hot tub, fitness center, private beach w/lounge chairs & umbrellas and boat slips with dockhand services.The 606 owners provided an extra dock slip during the summer season so we had friends moor their pontoon boat for our fishing & sight seeing trips on this very large lake.The owners also provided mountain bikes and a beach cruiser bike for our use. Did I mention location? Walking distance to City beach, Downtown Sandpoint, Market Square, restaurants, taverns, stores and walking/biking trails in every direction in this premier biking town. The week was a total disaster. On top of that misery, the grounds maintenance Crews started mowing and leaf blowing outside the bedrooms at 7:30 am. The photos seemed too good to be true at 1/3 the price vs. some other ski areas but the email service was so friendly and prompt I took a flyer and booked it. Lo and behold, EXACTLY AS PROMISED! The condo (the "Alpine VIllage Condos Penthouse") is gorgeous and in great shape - like new. Plenty of parking in the building, storage locker for skis, a game room with monster flat screen and cable, games, darts, computer; free wi-fi, 2 minutes drive to the lifts and a great price. The manager dropped off a tray of fresh-baked cookies. :D The skiing at Sliver Mountain is very good as well (heavy on the blue/black runs). If you're going to be in Kellogg winter or summer, this must be on your list to consider.

I went here once in March for a day and it was spectacular with great views…read more The area you're able to ski is massive and there is a lot of tree skiing options. I tried to hit up just about every hill throughout the day but missed a few Because the place is so massive. This is one of my favorite ski Mountains because of the tree skiing options and how many Black Diamonds are groomed (it's so fun bombing down the hill just on the edge of being out of control). I did wipe out on the second to last run losing a ski in the process and sliding down the mountain, but was able to recover the ski after a short hike up for about 40 yards). If I had to pick a ski place where I came closest to dying it would probably be here when I came flying around a sharp groomed corner onto a moguled hill, but was able to gain some control before I became one with some pine trees. About a month before I came here I read that a woman got nipped by a coyote when she was tree skiing and they had a sign warning about a coyote there at the top of one of the runs, so that was kind of funny. I stopped in for some chili at one of the small hole in the wall places they have at the base of the Eastern side of the mountain and that was a really cool place with good food.

The spots are level, that's important in a small rig like ours. The place is super clean and the bathrooms are a dream! The folks in the campground are mostly just passing through and some are there for a couple days to enjoy all the outdoor activities. Those there for awhile are super friendly and helpful, we me several in our little world of chaos! The owner though, he's the real hero of this little haven! We arrived later in the evening only to find an entire group of folks in our spot. Well, what we thought was our spot!! We called the after hours number and one of the folks actually texted the owner for us. Lo and behold, in the year and a half on the road, I had mixed up the reservation date! We were scheduled to be there the day before and they were full that night! The owner found us a spot to park though, luckily with a plug in since it was so hot!! We had a very peaceful night sleep and will forever remember his kindness! Thank you North Haven, you're one of the best!

Their caring, attention to detail and years of experience with luxury vacation rentals and real estate sets them apart. Nice RV spots, grounds are well maintained and beautiful. For "glamping", the Conestoga Wagons are fun, and there are actual Tipi spots coming that'll be right among the trees! Be sure to walk the nature trail through the woods when you're here. Close to town but not too close. Quiet. We've already booked our next stay, and we're picky. You'll love it!
