We found what looks and is described as a stand alone house from the details and pictures. Only to get a call from somebody named Jackson to double check that it was OK with us that there were people living in the upstairs part of the house. He made it seem not a big deal because they had their own entrance however none of this is in the details on the listing. We have two small children who still take naps that wasn't going to work for us after talking it over with my husband when we called a few days later to let them know this wasn't going to work they told us that they cannot refund any of the money that we paid. $8000 is what Jackson took from me and my family never providing any stay for us that was described on the listing. We are now working out a plan with our lawyer to work directly with Vrbo but this has been by far the worst experience we have ever had with any rental company. I reached out to the owner of the company Steve Russo who I never got a callback from only to be told that Jackson is now the owner and I can only deal directly with Jackson. I am a firm believer in doing what is right and good and I am absolutely shocked that a company would take $8000 from a family with two children dealing with house repairs without even blinking or looking twice. This is the exact opposite of West North Idaho stands for and these people should be disgusted with themselves.

Renter beware! We…read morerented unit 7-303 at Seasons at Sandpoint through Daughtery Management on April 29th for a 4 night stay starting June 10. The listing information for this unit stated "Rent standup paddle boards or kayaks from Daughtery Management and we'll deliver them at no extra charge". When we contacted them to rent paddle boards for our two children, we were told that theirs were not set up yet and they referred us to a company in town to rent from. When I pointed out that their listing specifically says they have these services and explained that the convenience and free delivery was why we chose this specific unit over others given our very tight schedule all week, we were told that while they usually have them when the lake is at full pool (which it was) they were waiting on other factors to put them out for the season. We ended up renting from the place that they recommended at the marina, who were great. But our kids had never paddle boarded before and could not get from the marina to Seasons on their boards b/c of the wind so we had to go meet them, load up the paddle boards in our vehicle, bring them to our resort, and take them back at the end of the day. We had to alter our plans that day and it ultimately turned a final day of rest & relaxation into a huge, time consuming headache. After going back and forth with the owner about the false advertising and her excuses about it like the corps of engineers, water temp, marina info and what not, we didn't even receive an apology for the misleading advertising of their unit. The company should not be posting that they offer certain services that are only available under certain conditions or situations without including those contingencies ie. only available after July 1, or only if lake is at full pool, or only if water temp is above 65, or only if the marina is open, etc. I would never rent from Daugherty Management again given their misleading and deceptive marketing and advertising practices, the fact that they didn't own up to their deceptive practices but instead just made excuses, and the fact that they did nothing to try and make it right (aside from recommending where we could go get them ourselves). Their guidebook both online and in the unit provided very little guidance, as far as recommendations for dining, sightseeing, shopping, onsite resort activities and amenities, etc. On a positive note, the unit was very clean, well kept, well stocked and had beautiful views, just like every other unit at Seasons at Sandpoint. Also of note, while the Daughtery website contains customer reviews, Daughtery did not provide me a means of leaving a review on their website or for the specific listing which I'm sure is intentional and in line with their other deceptive practices. Choose who you rent from wisely.

The pictures they posted of "Moose Haven" in The Idaho Club in Sandpoint, Idaho show beautiful grounds that are manicured, mowed all the way down to the water. They show a beautiful outside table that is varnished and nice. They say you can play, fish, kayak on the "river" that flows in the back of the property. In actuality, over half the yard is unusable due to the very tall weeds that haven't been taken care of in years. The outside table is dingy and full of splinters, and the "river" is a stagnant area of water on the golf course that you cannot use. When we brought these discrepancies to their attention they were full of alibis & excuses. The "owner said this or that". When we sent over pictures, they agreed they didn't look the same, but there was nothing they could do. Managements ownership was in total denial & refused to offer any refund. We would never recommend this company-- run as fast as you can!! Please look at the pics as to what they advertised and what actually was what it was.

The photos seemed too good to be true at 1/3 the price vs. some other ski areas but the email service was so friendly and prompt I took a flyer and booked it. Lo and behold, EXACTLY AS PROMISED! The condo (the "Alpine VIllage Condos Penthouse") is gorgeous and in great shape - like new. Plenty of parking in the building, storage locker for skis, a game room with monster flat screen and cable, games, darts, computer; free wi-fi, 2 minutes drive to the lifts and a great price. The manager dropped off a tray of fresh-baked cookies. :D The skiing at Sliver Mountain is very good as well (heavy on the blue/black runs). If you're going to be in Kellogg winter or summer, this must be on your list to consider.

I went here once in March for a day and it was spectacular with great views…read more The area you're able to ski is massive and there is a lot of tree skiing options. I tried to hit up just about every hill throughout the day but missed a few Because the place is so massive. This is one of my favorite ski Mountains because of the tree skiing options and how many Black Diamonds are groomed (it's so fun bombing down the hill just on the edge of being out of control). I did wipe out on the second to last run losing a ski in the process and sliding down the mountain, but was able to recover the ski after a short hike up for about 40 yards). If I had to pick a ski place where I came closest to dying it would probably be here when I came flying around a sharp groomed corner onto a moguled hill, but was able to gain some control before I became one with some pine trees. About a month before I came here I read that a woman got nipped by a coyote when she was tree skiing and they had a sign warning about a coyote there at the top of one of the runs, so that was kind of funny. I stopped in for some chili at one of the small hole in the wall places they have at the base of the Eastern side of the mountain and that was a really cool place with good food.

The spots are level, that's important in a small rig like ours. The place is super clean and the bathrooms are a dream! The folks in the campground are mostly just passing through and some are there for a couple days to enjoy all the outdoor activities. Those there for awhile are super friendly and helpful, we me several in our little world of chaos! The owner though, he's the real hero of this little haven! We arrived later in the evening only to find an entire group of folks in our spot. Well, what we thought was our spot!! We called the after hours number and one of the folks actually texted the owner for us. Lo and behold, in the year and a half on the road, I had mixed up the reservation date! We were scheduled to be there the day before and they were full that night! The owner found us a spot to park though, luckily with a plug in since it was so hot!! We had a very peaceful night sleep and will forever remember his kindness! Thank you North Haven, you're one of the best!

Their caring, attention to detail and years of experience with luxury vacation rentals and real estate sets them apart. Nice RV spots, grounds are well maintained and beautiful. For "glamping", the Conestoga Wagons are fun, and there are actual Tipi spots coming that'll be right among the trees! Be sure to walk the nature trail through the woods when you're here. Close to town but not too close. Quiet. We've already booked our next stay, and we're picky. You'll love it!
