We got their basic hamburger and fries. They were both FANTASTIC! The burger was more like a homemade hamburger, than what you'd get at a restaurant and nothing like any hamburger I've purchased for more than twice the cost. The fries were perfect: crisp but not dry. We were so impressed we got two more burgers that night. This time we upgraded to their "Babe" burger. This time we weren't starving but we enjoyed them just as much. This place is a great example of the good parts of North Idaho: nice people, surprisingly tasty food and just a little bit rough around the edges. My family and I will be stopping by whenever we're in the area.

Instead of the traditional meringue topping, it was whipped cream sprinkled with sugar crystals. It's worth noting, the crust was really yummy and softly crumbled with each bite. The pie to whipped topping to crust--all in all, I'm satisfied with the ratio and portion. I appreciate the majority of their baked goods are made in-house. I would get this pie again. This year my mom discovered Praeder Ranch Resort. It was the perfect location for us. There are several family members with campers; the resort offers tent, partial and full sites to accommodate everyone. There is a lodge with wonderful rooms for everyone else (where we stayed). There is an indoor pool, an outdoor pool and a huge hot tub. Also offered is a game room, a great library, a gym and outdoor activities such as shuffle board, volleyball, basketball, frisbee golf, etc. We found trails to walk around to get some outdoor exercise. The lodge is well maintained and very clean; my wife and I very much enjoyed the indoor pool and sauna. Jeff and Tracy were wonderful and took good care of the entire extended family that was there. It's a little out of the way, but worth the trip. We shall definitely be back.

Our weekend was great as always, but made better by Tracy and Jeff the hosts of the ranch. They were so accommodating and friendly. We all gathered at a camp spot for meals and fun. This ranch was perfect since some camped and some not. I highly recommend the ranch for a peaceful get away or a large gathering. They really need to get the word spread out about this place.
