I visited here because they were open late and I was looking for somewhere to pop in and have a quick drink. They have a small drink menu, but it was decent. The drinks were large and strong. The atmosphere was cool, I sat at the bar which was busier than the actual restaurant. Everyone was pretty attentive and we were offered help from multiple workers. I tried the shrimp brochette appetizer and my husband tried the boudin balls. The bacon on the shrimp was cooked so good. I enjoyed my dish. My husband said that his appetizer was pretty good but not as spicy as he'd thought it would be. I couldn't get good pics of my food because the lights are low with colored strobe lights in the background. They have a stage for live music. I personally wouldn't come for the live music, but it looks like it may be on weekends. The soundtrack was loud and they played Spanish music. I didn't really pay attention to it anymore after the drink kicked in lol! We tried a green tea shot followed by their house margarita. It comes in a huge glass. Pretty decent prices for the portions. I'd go back, but through the week. Multiple TVs everywhere. We were able to catch the Dallas cowboys game and even caught the end of it walking to the car while leaving. Large establishment with a lot of seating. They had a bar outside that would work during an overflow. They also have happy hour with $5 options. I'll have to check that out next time. The first was for lunch on a week day. Walked in and could barely tell the place was open. It was dank, dark and looked like the place was being used for storage. It smelled sour and unappetizing so that should have been my first clue. We ordered the Trio Pot and what we thought was Ponchartrain Oysters. The oysters came out in a stew of shredded cheese unseasoned shrimp and its own liquid. They were not char grilled as they should have been served. It was unbelievably nasty in presentation and taste. The Trio Pot was bland, swimming in butter with seasoning sprinkled everywhere and not at all prepared correctly. The second visit was for a birthday party and the food was so awful and unflavorful that out of 12 -15 people only 3 even ate their food. Others sent their food back requesting other items in hopes that anything would taste better than what they received. Don't go here! The only benefit is the convenience if you live on this side of town. And if that is the case, Mambos is a better option. read more

Looks are deceiving!! Unfortunately, the boiled platter did not have fresh crawfish at all. You can taste it was previously frozen and too chewy. The shrimp in the bacon wrapped shrimp was undercooked. The crawfish cheese burger was a good idea if the crawfish wasn't chewy. The manager said they have had plenty of complaints but can't do anything about the crawfish because it's not in season. First and last time here. read more
