Green tea shots... They ran about $10 and were good and strong
    Tiffany M.

I visited here because they were open late and I was looking for somewhere to pop in and have a quick drink. They have a small drink menu, but it was decent. The drinks were large and strong. The atmosphere was cool, I sat at the bar which was busier than the actual restaurant. Everyone was pretty attentive and we were offered help from multiple workers. I tried the shrimp brochette appetizer and my husband tried the boudin balls. The bacon on the shrimp was cooked so good. I enjoyed my dish. My husband said that his appetizer was pretty good but not as spicy as he'd thought it would be. I couldn't get good pics of my food because the lights are low with colored strobe lights in the background. They have a stage for live music. I personally wouldn't come for the live music, but it looks like it may be on weekends. The soundtrack was loud and they played Spanish music. I didn't really pay attention to it anymore after the drink kicked in lol! We tried a green tea shot followed by their house margarita. It comes in a huge glass. Pretty decent prices for the portions. I'd go back, but through the week. Multiple TVs everywhere. We were able to catch the Dallas cowboys game and even caught the end of it walking to the car while leaving. Large establishment with a lot of seating. They had a bar outside that would work during an overflow. They also have happy hour with $5 options. I'll have to check that out next time. I visited one time before after the pandemic, but didn't get a chance to go inside. I ordered crawfish from their outdoor food truck outside. It was good, no complaints. This trip was pretty straight to the point and is what I was looking for on this night. I'd go back... Just not on nights with live music because that's not my preference.

    1. Crawfish Platter

I highly recommend this place i like the food crawfish was soooo good , the place was very clean staff were very nice and fast thank you !

So good!!! We typically get the boiled seafood feast which is around $100 but we'll worth it for 2-3 people. This time around our lobster was half undercooked but everything else was good. The stuffed pork chop was enjoyed by numerous family members and the premium sampler appetizer is hands down a must order because is has a little bit of everything. We had a very large party for a graduation and there was only one waitress tending to half of the restaurant so wait time was a bit slow but overall not too bad.

Food was great and drinks were super strong on point. Been here before a few times and got the boiled platters. Get the G sauce

    3lb combo

Came in here craving crawfish. The 3lb combo (crawfish, sausage, corn, potato, covered in G-sauce) was about $40+tax. It was disappointing bc it was bland as heck. It was proportionate to everything offered, but the G-sauce was this awful corn starch thickened mess that was just straight bland. Some of the crawfish were bad, but it happens so I didn't account for it. The bartender didn't know what a cider, Paloma, or Ranch water was, so she winged it and also didn't do a great job at the drink I got (Paloma). Turned out to be about $100 after tip, which was disappointing bc I left hungry and not satisfied in the slightest. Go elsewhere tbh

I absolutely love this place! I have been here like atleast 10 times in the past 5 years and have never had a bad experience. The wait staff have always been friendly and helpful and knowledgeable on what specials are happening!! The G sauce is our family's favorite. We usually come here for the crawfish and shrimp pots! If you leave here hungry it's your fault!

Let's start off with the good. The sweet tea was banging! My brothers fried shrimp were very tasty! My sister and I ordered the 8oz usda choice steak and it comes with a baked potato, veggies and a side salad. My son had the cheeseburger and fries. The baked potato was sooooo good! Light fluffy just enough butter, sour cream and toppings. The steak . I asked for mine medium with was well done and dry. Even with the sauce they had on top of it. We asked for A1 but they were out of it. This restaurant was a mixture of things... they had a Hispanic band playing, they had a trailer in the parking lot selling crawfish and they also sold seafood boils. Maybe we just picked the wrong thing.

Can I rate this place 0 stars? I came in today with my family and were told we would have to pay for water!!! A water! Also wanted to get the Bayou Pot#2 (which is 6lbs of crawfish and other stuff) - So we requested the 6lbs be brought up 3 at a time so the bottom ones would t be cold when we got to them and they said no. I would have been fine with the no but my server Mayquel said he would ask the manager and the manager said no. When the manager came by he was rude- cut me off and said the general manger "Won't come by and was here". I will NEVER come to this restaurant again. This has been PISS POOR Customer Service and I would NEVER Recommend this place to ANYONE! For a first time visit- I would say I wasted a trip! P.S. the small crawfish were not worth it

G-Style Crawfish, shrimp, king crab, sausage, potatoes, and corn
    Jessica C.

I'll admit that my review is solely on the crawfish and service. Their fried pickles are too oily. Their gumbo is not bad. Their desserts are okay at best. Now, they do offer live crawfish and have bundles (rather than selling by the pound) which are worth it! If you haven't tried it yet, GET THE G-STYLE SAUCE! I've been coming here since this place was called the Swamp Shack and it has not lost it's quality food with the change of ownership. The G-style is a bit of a tomato-y flavored sauce. It's thick and well seasoned. Tastes amazing! I love the prices and flavors. One small thing is that I don't like their corn and potatoes.. sadly. I came for Valentine's Day and they had a special that included 2 alcoholic drinks, your choice of salad or gumbo, 2lbs or crawfish, 1lb of shrimp, sausage, corn, potatoes, and dessert! All for real cheap!! So look out for specials like that too. I consistently drive here from the Katy area because I love this place that much!

We visited around 5:00 PM on a Sunday and were pleasantly surprised to be seated immediately for a party of two without a reservation. The restaurant is huge, and despite being very busy, the service was efficient. We were seated in one of the back dining rooms and greeted with complimentary chips and salsa, both of which were delicious. The atmosphere was fantastic--packed with World Cup fans, with what felt like everyone wearing a soccer jersey. As fellow futebol fans, we loved the energy. Being from California, we're fortunate to have access to some excellent Mexican food, so we were a little hesitant about trying Tex-Mex. I ordered the chicken fajitas with flour tortillas and a passion fruit margarita. The chicken had a smoky flavor and a sauce that gave the dish a distinctly Texas-style twist. The flour tortillas were outstanding, and the refried beans and rice were just as enjoyable. The passion fruit margarita was also a standout and something I'd definitely order again. Overall, this was a great dining experience and a place I'd recommend for the atmosphere alone. The restaurant appears well-equipped to accommodate large groups, making it a great option for gatherings. Next time, I'd love to return with a bigger group and take advantage of one of their margarita pitchers!

Neither one of us had eaten and we were both starving. We had decided that when I was released we would just go to the restaurant that was in the same parking lot as the facility. I had been to the restaurant before, had fajitas and they were served bloody raw and was just disgusting so I Never went back. We mentioned where we were planning to go to some of the staff members and they said do not go there and that it was too expensive for the type of Mexican food that they serve you. Then they all suggested Maria Rita's. My wife and I had never heard of it before so we asked where it was and it was located 2min down the street. When we got there it was packed, but we decided to thug it out and wait for a table, this also gave us time to troll the parking lot and land a killer parking spot as people left. We finally got the notice that our table was ready. The inside was clean, awesome and had a savory aroma mixed with a Smokey grill Oder that just made us even more hungry than we already were. We both ordered this dish that came with fajitas and bacon wrapped shrimp with a cheese sauce that was Truly Amazing! When I finally was able to take a bite of one of the four gigantic shrimp after I completely destroyed my fajitas, I thought that I was going to pass out from the ecstasy that the flavor profile from that shrimp that overwhelmed my senses! Parking can be challenging on weekends, but there is complimentary valet and a few extra spots in a lot across the street. There's interior and exterior seating, with cozy booths and tables. Service is friendly. Chips and salsa: Superica has some of my favorite chips, crispy and thin and perfectly fried. The avocado crema salsa and warm serrano pepper salsas are delicious with a mild kick. The bottled red salsa is fresh and green salsa packs a nice punch. Migas: Scrambled eggs with tortilla chips and cheese, choice of chicken versus chorizo on top, finished with fresh avocado. I really enjoyed this combination and the generous portion for the price. The eggs are well scrambled without being dry, and the pairing with cheese is proportional. The chicken was a touch dry, but some salsa solved that well. I enjoyed stuffing each component into a fresh tortilla and devouring it as a breakfast taco. Refried beans and rice: Really delicious. The refried beans are of the smoother variety without as much chunkiness, which I prefer, and topped with creamy cheese. I could have used a touch more tomato in the rice, but overall enjoyed the texture and flavor. Patatas with salsa roja, topped with egg: I enjoyed the flavors in this dish, but there was sooo much salsa. The potatoes were thus a little soggy, though still cooked well. The over medium egg was cooked nicely and complemented the potatoes with creamy yolk. Bacon: Really generous portion for $7 as a side, and cooked well. Crispy potatoes: I enjoy that these are fingerling potatoes smashed and roasted, but they could be crispier. They seem to be on the blander side on purpose to allow seasoning to taste, and I really like pairing them with the red bottled salsa provided at each table (probably due to their association with ketchup). Hotcakes: The literal star of every brunch, these hotcakes are consistently delicious. They're massive yet somehow cooked perfectly through so that they're fluffy and soft on the inside and just with a slight crunch on the outside. The pairing of the creamy warm (!!!) maple syrup is heavenly. Because of how huge these are, usually one is enough to share between two people, although they also come in stacks of two and three. For reference, we finished 3/4 of three between four healthy and hungry people and it wasn't for lack of trying. Whenever I crave weekend brunch, Superica is always a top option.
