The fish was so flavorful you wouldn't think it was catfish. The bread was soft and buttery. Dish also came with a side salad and fries for 11.99. My bf ordered the fajita beef burrito, he said it was fantastic and very filling. He said it's the best burrito he's had in a very long time. All in all the meal was worth it as far as cost. Our server was very absent and didn't really care to be friendly with our table. The food was just okay. There isn't anything I could rave about or go back to. We got habanero fried rice and there wasn't any habanero in it. We split the specialty boiled shrimp and although it was well cooked, we could tell it was just seasoned with powder so very salty. The food was great! The fried rice was delicious and I'll definitely get it again. The quesadillas were pretty good too, but the shrimp was cut up into smaller pieces where they lost a little of flavor competing with the cheese and sour cream and salsa I added. When the shrimp plate first got there we started to eat it but noticed the shrimp were not fully cooked, they tasted raw. We told the waitress we didn't want the shrimp and sent it back. My wife got her soup and I got my plate. We started eating and my wife told me her soup smelled weird. She pulled out the crab the soup comes with and it smelled really bad. This location is our favorite out of all of the Ostioneria Michoacán's in Houston. The waitstaff is attentive and super nice. The interior of the restaurant is spacious, the lighting is low, and the seating is comfortable. Very relaxing. Chips and salsa are fresh, and the food is always delicious! I usually order the shrimp brochette plate, but tonight I had the catfish fillet and shrimp in garlic butter sauce. Everything was perfect. There current decor is for Halloween and they've done a spectacular job! Very nice experience all around, every time! read more
