I called at 8 am for a Taxi since ot was raining. The Dispatcher at bluebird Said 15-20 min wait . I replied with perfect ! ive got to be there by 9am. i called her back at 8:45 and she told me "Sir its a an estimate" we have no cars availble. I called walter over at Yellow cab and they were there in 5 Minutes . Bluebird called me back at 9:23 to tell me they were outside. truly rude garbage service. I got there late but i got there (even if i could have walked there in 25 mins and been on time) had Bluebird not pissed on my leg and told me it was raining Moral of the story. Arranged a cab several hours ahead of time for a pickup. Cab didn't show up. I called and the dispatcher said they were busy and couldn't send a cab! These people are unreliable. read more

One star is being generous. Last Saturday, we called for taxis to and from an event in Westport, MA. The way there was so,so -- but the driver forgot to turn on his meter and before letting us out, waited for another taxi to come by so that he could ask what he should charge us. Very unprofessional. We called the company at 2 pm and requested to be picked up at our event at 5 PM. The dispatcher confirmed that this could be done and thanked us for thinking ahead. 5 PM rolls around... and then 5:15... and then 5:30. When my group calls BlueBird, they tell us that "they have GPS on our driver and that he should be right there". 30 mins AFTER the phone call, he arrives. For those keeping count -- he was 1 hour late, and showed 0 remorse, and did not offer to give us any sort of discount. Both drivers were unprofessional and their vehicles smelled of cigarettes. Don't call them unless you have one hour to wait for it. And the person who answers phone is so lack of patience, I call back three times, none of those times he listen me until I finish my talking, seriously! read more

Excellent service and really good prices, can't recommend them enough if a cab is what you need.

My friend and I were stuck in New Bedford at night, we called asking for a cab and they said it would be 5 minutes, then a half hour later we still hadn't heard from them and ended up having to call a friend from Dartmouth to come pick us up. When we called the service the lady on the phone was also extremely rude and impatient. Would not recommend service, very unreliable. read more

Negative five is what I meant...placed a call for pick up to drop off to catch a bus, when I called to see where the driver was I got nothing but attitude from the csr lady who answered long story short...we missed our bus...thanks that's $57 I'll never get back because of your incompetence! read more

UNRELIABLE LEFT ME HANGING TO WALK HOME ASSONET TO TAUNTON!!!! On June 14, 2015, at 12:30am I called for a taxi to come to High Street, Assonet. They said it would be up to a half hour wait and I said okay. I called them back 45 minutes later and they said he would be there any minute. I called them a half hour later and they told me he accidentally went to the same address in Fall River, not Assonet. My cell phone was almost dead so I explicitly told them that and asked them if the taxi was definitely coming and they said yes and reassured me he would be there in about 10-15 minutes. My cell phone died and I waited until 2:30am before I just started walking home to East Taunton from Assonet. Thank God someone pulled over and offered me a ride home because he saw me walking down the side of the highway. PLEASE DO NOT use this service they are extremely unreliable and do not deserve business for pulling a move like that. read more

I used to think Blue Bird was awesome until we walked home twice from downtown, and an additional incident when my husband was left at the bus stop. One of the nights we walked home, our cab driver for the way out passed us just as we were getting home. He stopped and asked how the restaurant had been. We said, "Good but we had to walk all the way home through the south end of New Bedford." He replied, "Oh yeah, well I'm having brake problems so that's probably why." Brake problems? What the h-e-double hockey sticks is he doing whizzing around in the van still? When my husband was left at the bus stop, I ended up picking him up on my way home from work and we passed TWO cabs chatting at a gas station. It only took 45 minutes for them to call and say they could pick him up. VERY unreliable company and service. Be weary using them. You have a 10% chance of being picked up....probably about the same odds as seeing an elephant walk down Achusnet. read more
