Honestly, the only way to beat the heat in Arizona is by chillin' pool side! Carson Pool is a great…read morefacility to swim because theres lots to do. The kiddos can chill in the shallow end, you can cannon ball off the diving boards, slide down the water slides, get your excersise by swimming in the lap pool, or just lounge on a pool float! This is a very nice facility that includes large locker rooms, showers, and cleanly restrooms. At the pool they have shaded areas for the non-simming folk, vending machines, and of course the diving boards, kiddie pool area, 2 different waterslides, and lap pools. For all this the kid day pass is only $2 while an adult is $4, And on Monday night its 50% off! This pool is a very fun place to spend the afternoon, and I reccomend anyone trying to cool down in the Arizona heat come splash around at carson pool

How can you not love a good pool with a refreshing swim in the summertime in Arizona? I know I do!…read more I like to take advantage of the fact that there are an abundance of wonderful public pools throughout the valley, and this is one of them. It's open to anyone, and the charge to come in is reasonable. Adults are $3.50, and kids are $1.75. They have wonderful locker rooms here, with plenty of showers, changing rooms, and bathrooms for people to use. The pool area itself is quite nice, with the shallow entry like a beach feature, lap lanes, a small diving area and plenty of water features for kids and adults. They have one of those bucket things that tips water too! Even a water slide!!! There's covered areas for you to stay cool throughout the facility, and several lifeguards throughout the pool, playing close attention to those swimming. I wish they had a few more lawn chairs here, but most were taken by the time I got to the pool in the middle of the day. I also grabbed a pamplet, and they offer swimming lessons all summer long if you have kids, along with a summer swim team as well. If I had kids, I would enroll them in something like this, for many reasons. For starters, kids need to learn to swim, and it promotes water safety, along with building confidence and keeps them in shape. I was a swimmer growing up, so I can speak from experience! I also like supporting local services like this, as I feel like I get to be part of the community I live in. Its part of the city of Mesa, so its like going to the libary for me....but instead of books I trade up for water! LOL People here are wonderfully nice, and I will gladly go again. O, and congrats to me, this is review #400!!!

This was our third time in six years that we have built a pool with Shasta. What keeps us coming…read moreback is their in floor cleaning system, and the fact that to upgrade the equipment. Also their longevity on business The good- Garrett Dow,the construction manager was the best person as far as communication goes. He always responded to my text and phone calls in a timely manner and he kept the project moving. The trades that he had on our site were always professional and easy to work with. The AI operator was helpful when I couldn't get a response from anyone. I liked their Builder Trend Ap for communication. What needs improvement- project manager didn't respond in a timely manner or not at all. Never picks up the phone. This is the main contact for the project and this added to undue frustration. Good communication is key to any project. It seems it's hard to find good people that have the skills to do this now adays. I will continue to recommend Shasta as they do build a great but just don't expect great communication unless they get better project managers

Lengthy But Miserable Experience We signed our contract and…read morepaid our deposit with Shasta at the beginning of January. We were told permits would be submitted immediately and that our prefabricated fiberglass pool would be completed by the end of March, or no later than mid-April. Instead, the project took six months to complete. Communication throughout the project was extremely poor. Calls, emails, and text messages often went unanswered for days, and getting updates was nearly impossible. Work crews frequently arrived without notice or failed to show up when scheduled. At one point, our project was left without a superintendent overseeing the work. The construction process was also disappointing. Equipment damaged our patio, fence, and the side of our house, and crews repeatedly left trash, pallets, tires, and other debris on our property, resulting in an HOA violation. The pool sat partially filled with stagnant water for nearly a month before work resumed. It wasn't until I filed a complaint with the Arizona Registrar of Contractors that progress noticeably improved. Even after completion, several issues remain unresolved. The pool cooling system we paid for has never worked, damaged coping and a broken pool tile have yet to be repaired, and the promised three months of complimentary pool service has been inadequate. On multiple visits, the technicians failed to properly clean the pool, and communication with the service department continues to be just as unresponsive as it was during construction. Overall, our experience was marked by poor communication, missed deadlines, lack of accountability, and unfinished warranty items. Based on our experience, I would recommend carefully researching other pool builders before choosing Shasta.
