Since the company has expanded its customer base the service has declined drastically. We have had at least 5 new pool people in the past few months, pool always requires additional "clean-up" after the pool service person leaves. This used to be a company we could count on when Sid was the regular, weekly, pool gentleman. Their desire to grow has left a giant void in customer service. We grew tired of the bad service, expensive chemicals that did not solve the algae issues, dirty pool, and extreme lack of customer service. 3 attached photos show how bad the algae was less than a week of cleaning. $300 dollars worth of "shock" in 3 weeks, pool unusable! I definitely did not give approval for full pool drain. It was over 95F some days you drained pool. I understand failure of your refill attachment but the issue there was initially the overflow was blamed on rain! I sould never been charged for extra salt required that was flushed out by flooding the pool and yard. read more

We have been with Jayson a while. He's really hard to get up with as he manages all the people and you have to go through him to talk to the person who cleans your pool. He has handled some repairs for us and they have mostly been fine. Although the pebble tec repair he did last year is already crumbling in some spots. But my complaint is with the weekly service. We have had many things broken and not told to us. Chlorine tab holders, deck box, the little door to the vacuum. When I replaced my third tab holder this year and came back to find that the old broken one had been put back in the pool today I was mad. Why would you put a broken tab holder back in the pool? When I pulled the vacuum out of the pool, it wasn't even connected to the hose. Leaving me to fish it out with the net. When I reached out to Jayson I was not given an apology or a solution. In fact he terminated our contract and that's fine, he is likely doing us a favor. But that just goes to show you what kind of customer service you'll get. I do not think it is too much to let us know when something is broken and needs replaced. I don't think it's too much to ask everything go back into the deck box. This company took over the other crappy pool service we had before them. Since then it's been down hill. I would NOT recommend this company! read more

I have been working with this company for about 1.2 years. It is been all bad as of recent. Throughout the relationship, if I didn't want the SAN FILTER cleaned, it was not cleaned. The $500 fee was paid 6 months before they started servicing my pool. Then, all of the sudden, oddly my equipment had a problem. Seemed pretty sketchy to everyone I spoke with. I, reluctantly, paid more than I would have if I just let them run me over and clean the already cleaned filter. I spoke with the owner and we had an agreement that nothing would be repaired or replaced without my approval. Look at the payments, I paid about 900 for repairs and chlorine. Coupled with cleaning, and had to BEG for them to vacuum. About two weeks ago, Abel the guy that typically cleaned my pool, is not on the route, actually, I learned might not even work there any longer. So, I had one guy who left the side gates open and DID NOT put the pad lock back on from Aqua Squad Pool service and Repair, nor the strap out front that we use because the winds get pretty hard out there. Then, this week I get a bill for close to 500.00 "AGAIN". I call to ask, I learn it's for: Chlorine (not approved) Floaty (not approved) Skimmer Basket (not approved) We had an agreement. Now, also be advised, I still had 1/4 of a bucket of chlorine tabs left back there. Abel told me there are times throughout the year that it doesn't need filled, as the PH balances and all that water testing and are up to snuff. Jayson the owner said I should buy floaties at Walmart because they are cheaper, and he is correct as he raised the price on the same one at least 350%. I imagine same with the skimmer basket. Then, comped me on them acting like I wasn't a paying customer, even though his employees acted on their own! I then emailed and ask what the deal is. then, I get a call. Also be advised I am and have survived cancer, so I am careful of what I do, who I pay and how I do things. Jayson totally aware of this. In fact the place I terminated before this company started left the side gate open and my 4 year old grandson made it through that same gate. Anyway, I get a call, I speak to a lady and she runs it all down to me. I explained the agreement and approval. I always paid them. So, someone comes out, drops off a bucket of chlorine, that they have since picked up. As you see below, I am paid up to the 30th of September yet Jayson told me we need to part ways, BECAUSE they didn't uphold their end of the deal, not only that, the NEW GUY that came through left my pool motor and pump running and it has not stopped since. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I learned the hard way and they now have left my pool pump and motor to run until I can get someone out here next week! I was so pleased with the interview I had with Aqua Squad I couldn't wait for the first visit. The company may be small but they are mighty. This is the third company , I had a major company that I let go just the week before A.Q. stared , the old company did nothing to help after two weeks(14 days) of a green pool, couldn't see the bottom, and I had them for nearly two years. I had a small company before that and I could not believe how they didn't do the things they said they would do. With Aqua Squad not only do they do as they "say", I also have a non fluctuating bill that I can count on every month, that helps ,because there isn't any surprises. I highly recommend Jayson from Aqua Squad. My pool heater had started acting up, turning on when on standby and difficulty in adjusting temp. Jayson showed me how to do the simple fix to change out the heater touch pad myself. Also provided me with an estimate, if I wanted him to do the work, that was considerably cheaper than another I had received for this job ($156 vs $800). In addition he pointed out some minor issues with my system that could be done later. No heater bypass line and a faulty check valve on a spa line (also showed me how to fix this myself). But Jayson is very easy to talk with and doesn't make everything sound intimidating and like rocket science. Will add more as I have other work done. read more
