Purchased a nice Lance Camper. Great transaction. I came from Vegas to do it. I then traded it in three months later for a 5th wheel at a Blue Compass in Vegas. Mesa owes me over $5k in refunds for my canceled extended warranties. Been over three months, they ghost me. Buyer beware. They are quick to take your money but not refund it. Might be taking a road trip back there soon for my $5k. For such a large company you would expect better. Can't imagine any part of the post sale service is any good. Very disappointed. read more

On Saturday January 31st I made a deal with the Surprise Blue compass to buy a used Genesis 24RBS which was at the Mesa store. I received a signed buyer agreement by the GM agreeing to the deal. I went to Mesa to view the unit and then on my way to the Surprise store, the Surprise GM Anthony tells me he has to back out of the deal as his boss said no. Keep in mind this was after taking my $1000 deposit and agreeing to the deal. I raised hell and was told the Mesa store would honor it. So I drove all the way back to Mesa and they begrudgingly made the deal. Fast forward to today, February 9. I show up to do my inspection of the new unit and bring my trade in. They give me a quick walkthrough and the tech glosses over everything. I did my own inspection and came to find out that the AC unit made a loud screech when turning off, there were gaping holes in the roof sealant (attached photo), fixtures were leaking water inside, and best of all, there was a leak in the freshwater tank that was very apparent and dripping water on the ground (attached photo). I talked to Tyler about my issues with paying $700 for a PDI that wasn't done. The unit was hardly cleaned and I found so many items broken. Tyler played middle man between me and the GM, Matt. I expressed my concerns to Matt and he indicated they were only doing this deal because they were forced to. I asked Matt to drop the PDI and he said he couldn't and that they were "losing thousands". What I came to realize is Matt and Blue Compass Mesa didn't like the money they were making on the deal, so they ignored all these issues on the PDI in an effort to force me to back out of the deal. Folks, I was shown what they paid for this 2019 Genesis Supreme 24RBS. They paid under 10k for it on trade. All in, had they agreed to my terms the dealership stood to make at least $5000 in profit. This isn't enough for Blue Compass apparently. They make their money on deceptive sales tactics and false promises. If you have a similar story, please file a consumer complaint with the Arizona Attorney General's Office. There is an easy submission form. Don't be a victim!! read more

Our sales representative, Sarge, was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. He made the entire process very smooth and stress-free. Although we encountered a few minor issues along the way, the overall experience was outstanding. We also truly appreciate the support we received, from General Manager Jake, who also made a great impression on both of us. What stood out the most was how honest and non-pushy the team was--something that can be hard to find at many dealerships. We were dealing on a unit that they were having "paperwork issues" on. We were told different stories by different people. We were pressured to put a deposit on it and wait. We walked away, we were then contacted by Brynn in sales about 3 weeks later to tell us that they had it worked out their problems and had dropped the price. We negotiated again and came to an agreed price. We filled out their credit app and said we would put a deposit on it by credit card. This was a Saturday afternoon. We hadn't heard anything by Monday afternoon so texted to ask status, heard nothing. Contacted again next day, got a one line text, "unfortunately unit sold on my day off" Very very unprofessional company to deal with! STAY AWAY! Especially the dealership in Winston Salem! read more

Update. I finally got my water pump and rear view camera replaced on my camping trailer. And it only took 4 months to do it. And I had to call the news station. But it's done. And they actually up graded the camera which was very nice, considering what they put me through since day one of me buying it. But I do appreciate it. read more

Held off for some time before writing my review, pending the resolution of an issue I had with the first trailer I purchased from Blue Compass RV Mesa. I live in the San Diego area, and there are no nuCamp T@B 400 dealers in my area. Resale, yes, brand new, no. I purchased a new 2024 Black Canyon unit from Blue Compass Mesa, and had it delivered to my home in San Diego. Even though I was the first owner, I felt the trailer's condition indicated it had not been prepared for delivery, and worse, it had been left out in harsh conditions far too long somewhere along its way to Arizona. Also missing were the owners/appliance/registration paperwork that normally comes with a new unit. I was quite unhappy. Matt Madsen, the Sales Manager, worked with me to resolve the issue in a way that worked for both of us. We worked out a deal for me to return the 2024 to them and I ordered a 2025 T@B 400 Black Canyon with all the upgrades I wanted. I'm satisfied with the financial outcome on the trade-in, as well as the personal attention I received to rectify what had been a very unfortunate experience. As you might imagine, I drove to Mesa, Arizona to pick up my new 2025 T@B 400 Black Canyon when it arrived. It was nice to meet Matt face-to-face. My entire experience from meet-and-greet to walk-through to driving away with my new trailer was flawless. From sales to finance to service techs, I was treated as if I were the only one there. I wasn't by a long shot. I have recommended Blue Compass Mesa to many others that see my adorable teardrop out in the wild (or more often in an RV park) when they stop by to ask about it. Not a big fan of corporate retail sales, or retail "used deals". They proved why I feel this way. Nice sales staff, not overly pushy (2 stars). Penalizing cash buyers with an 8% "surcharge" is unfair at best. They want you to finance to get a percentage of that loan origination. That just isn't good for the customer - whatever happened to taking care of your customer? Things are expensive enough these days without all these unnecessary fees. This is the Prescott location near the car dealerships - I have no idea why this posted for "Mesa". There are so many used RVs on the market now - find yourself a good, honest owner and help someone in need vs enriching the corporate abuse. read more

I've purchased two travel trailers from the Surprise location - the first one back in 2021 when it was Tom's Camperland, and then another just this week under it's new name Blue Compass. Both of my experiences have been great! I worked with a sales associate named Adam M., who was super nice and informative. I then had the pleasure of working with Gary W. in finance (who was there to do my first purchase as well!). He is extremely responsive, fast, and so personable! There was zero pressure to purchasing any "extras" and I left feeling like I got a decent deal! Trust me, there are some other companies that once you walk onto their lot, the sharks circle you and just won't take no for an answer. I bought a topper for my truck three years ago at Toms camperland in Mesa, now it's called blue compass, but the same service manager who handles toppers is still there KENNY !!! helping me sort out the problem with the auto locks from the manufacturer or some repairs from my heavy use, or even the quick response to a text message when my wires came and my locks wouldn't work. Very ladies also have always been very helpful. I know not everyone can be happy but for me they've taken care of me pretty darn well! read more

He was more than accommodating and found a way to make two deals work for me. It seems a lot of reviews on here are blurring different dealerships and personal when they refer to somebody without a first name or specific location. JACOB AT AVONDALE will take care of you, both before and after the sale. There were a few bumps in my first deal with them, probably a bit of mfg a limited addition model and my rush to get the deal done for a scheduled trip. Life happens but it's how you deal with it and Jacob was a class act focussed on customer experience and brand reputation. read more

I cannot recommend this location or any of their others. They sell lemons and don't stand behind the customer. More drama than I can share on a post. Unethical business and sloppy work on repairs, often causing additional issues. They take parts from units on the lot to attempt to fix the needed repairs. Eventually they will refuse to fix anything at all and the customer is left with a faulty unit that can't be sold or traded in. Unscrupulous all around. read more

First let say the sale staff is great. I asked for some extra things be done to the trailer before I picked it up. Extra battery, extra solar panel, changed the steps. Everything looked great. I went out to use it and there was no battery power at all. I used the generator all weekend. When I got ready to leave the batteries worked for a while. The next trip came and again nothing worked. I got through the weekend and called Blue Compass who had no idea what could be wrong. My trailer is in Buckeye Az so I called a mobile repair tech . who came out and with in 20 minutes found the problem. No ground wire to the chassis from the new batteries. whom ever installed the batteries did not reconnect the ground wire. They made the connection and everything works great. $265.00 I called Blue Compass and explained what was wrong and ask for a reimbursement. Clearly it was their fault and was told they won't reimburse me. Bad service never go here if you want your RV repaired correctly read more

It's been almost 4 months since the NEW RV was delivered to us with Damages. They were Immediately notified and the cluster of "brush offs" and excuses began. I should have asked them to take it back but I trusted that when the Sales person (Max) told me not to worry, that they would fix it right away. Everyone from sales, to finance manager to GM has made promise after promise. As of today, (4 months later), No repairs. Can't use it because the trailer has electrical issue so operating anything in side is a risk. Have consulted with attorney and he has advised will need to engage in a full law suit soon if this continues. These people are BAD and don't care that they sell you damaged products. Once you pay them, they wipe their hands and the burden is on us to try and recover anything. read more

I'm a new RV driver, and they helped me so much with maintenance work that needed to be done to keep my RV road safe, as well as lock repairs that keep my belongings and person safer when camping. Kenny and Dean did a fantastic job in getting me on my way quickly when they adjusted my truck cap. Kenny went out of his way to figure out what the problem was and get it fixed quickly. My truck was recently in a front end accident which misaligned the truck cap on the back end during the collision. First, Kenny in the canopy top dept., he is THE manager. is A+..I mean, this man goes way above every standard of excellence..About 10 months ago I needed 'props' my SnugTop..they were FREE, because the ones I had gotten from Tom's (now known as Blue) faded in a short time, when I asked to pay he said 'no charge'. So lately 2 months ago I needed a new dome light, my older (I bought new) Snug, was on it's 3rd, the OEM 14 years the ones since neither lasted a lot of years. So today they installed a Leer one it fit my install best..also now Leer/Snug blended in one ownership..when I bought my Snug was a Long Beach, CA mfr. and orig. owner of SnugTop then. Today the labor install was so beautiful it looks like a 2024 not the age my rig is and the quality of the piece of hardware is well, GREAT. So Kenny and his 'right hand man' went Above and beyond to please me and the total price so part (new) tax labor was...very fair. I cannot say enough good stuff. go there... read more

We purchased a trailer from this dealership in 2022 and were convinced to purchase an extended warranty, tire package, roadside assistance, and GAP. fast forward to July 6th, 2024, and we sold the trailer. We promptly cancelled the extra services and were told it could take up to 8 weeks for the cancellation to be processed. How something as simple as a cancellation can take that long is mind-blowing and after speaking with the company behind the extended warranty products, we discovered we have been getting the run around from Jennifer Bennett. The company told us that the warranties are managed by t blue compass but were confused when we inquired about what the refund costs would be stating that those should have been easy for the dealer to give us. Today August 1, 2024, we received an unsolicited email from Jennier stating that they are now taking 10 weeks to process. They have ZERO issues collecting our money but when it comes to returning money that no longer belongs to them, it seems as if they have no sense of urgency. I will be filing formal complaints to the BBB as well. read more

I took my travel trailer into them, which has a warranty. I could have taken it to Camping World and not have to pay $100 deductible, but thier service dept. is a nightmare. Blue Compass has good reviews, and the initial visit was good, but all the emails back and forth with Karibecame very frustrating, because she wolud refer to one issue, which wasn't the main one. I woiuld explain that I needed the slide repaired because it wouldn't slide out, But I also needed the manaul crfank for the slide repaired too, because I thought the cable had broke. It was actually the pin. either way it had to be reapaired too. So writes back tellingg me I have an electric motor for my slide not a manual one. I told her I have both and both need repaired. It got so frustrating I finally called her, and went through it again, and I know she knew I was frustrated because I was a little angry by that time, because I didn't think I was going to get my RV fixed properly. They fixed proerly, but nobody took the time to greet me, go through the process, or even see if I might need help hooking up my RV. Only one to speak to me was the the woman at the front desk. I guess they don't want to service my Rv again, which is fine, because I don't need to get someone that frustrates me to the point I got! I explained my isses very well when I dropped it off and through evry email.
