I booked this trip a month and a half in advance due to an Instagram post and their 5 star reviews. I talked to the owner on the phone and shared that we had four small children and four adults. I was told the boat held 10 people. We discussed going to peanut island and everything seemed great. I showed up on the day of departure (with all of our food and drinks)...was allowed to board the boat only to find out they booked us for a captain who was only allowed to charter six people. After several phone calls, we were told we had to get off the boat or leave two people behind. Obviously having two families - we didn't have the option of kicking two people off! They agreed to refund our money but ruined our Memorial Day weekend plans of enjoying a boat!! It might not seem like a big deal - but explaining this to four small kids....it's heartbreaking. I thought someone would at least reach out with an apology of some sorts....as this was beyond ridiculous and even sent a message hoping for some type of explanation- NOTHING! At this point, I just want to save another family from booking a charter with them - especially if they are here for a few days as you can't trust this company to be responsible enough to actually take you out on the boat! More importantly, the owner could care less about making things right or extending a simple apology. If I was able to give zero stars- I would! Again! Be very very careful in choosing this company - they are completely unreliable and more importantly, don't care at all to extend an apology or attempt to explain!

To see the sun set with such dramatic colors in the sky, while knowing that it will rise again the next day, hopefully it can instill and renew hope within you to muster up the strength to face whatever challenge you are facing on that day. We stayed briefly and didn't stay a while. Maybe all three of us thought of different things, but to coexist in that beautiful moment was nice enough for me to want to go back again soon. The view was really nice. Words can't describe how I felt so please stop by yourself and feel for it yourself. The walkaway and parking was kinda tricky for me. It's nice but then again it's accessible to anyone so it can be rough depending on what kind of crowd is there. You might have to walk around like we did to find few good picture spots. The roads are two way but kinda tight so if you are driving around in an suv like me, please be mindful of the size of your vehicle while on the road!

After things slowed down he asked us if we wanted to try to catch a shark over a wreck before heading in. He predicted what he expected to happen and right on cue we get a hit. My 14 year old grandson landed a 10 foot bull shark that weighed around 500 pounds. A fishing day that will never be forgotten.

We overslept for the sunrise but got here in time to find plenty of parking at 8am. The parking lot…read moreabsolutely fills up during the morning as there were people circling around when we departed at around 10am. The park spans both sides of the land with features on both the Intracoastal Waterway side of A1A and the ocean side with a narrow pedestrian walkway under the bridge on both sides of the inlet. A playground, restrooms, park space and then the "show" of watching boaters try to make their way. It's a tremendous thing to watch as these folks go too slow or too fast against the current and around the small bend to get between the Ocean and the Inlet. Sadly, I've only been able to see them on the Youtube channel as the two boats this morning both chickened out. Still, a fabulous spot to get near the water and beaches. Free parking! Nice small beach. One life guard. Not too crowded on a Monday in April. Parking lot…read morewas pretty full but there was about 5 empty spots at 10am and 3 empty spots at 2pm. Nice shaded paved walkway to beach that looks like a jungle. Shaded bbq area as well. Bathrooms, and a jungle gym. Outdoor shower. I don't think there is a place to rent beach chairs, I think you have to bring your own. Water was super calm, more calm in mid day. And very shallow. Mostly older people and less kids. But it's actually good for kids because you can go out pretty far and still be at your waist. Some places even knees far out. It was just peaceful and nice. If you want a quiet day at the beach this is it! And it's free. I saw a small school of fish further out and also some type of bottom feeder fish. Very clean beach too, free of garbage. I did find one floating wrapper and I picked it up. Lots of sea shells around that are pretty.

There were piles and piles of Sargassum seaweed that they are trying to rake and remove, but not fast enough. Gulfstream Park has free parking, clean restrooms, a lifeguard on duty, water fountains, showers as well as picnic tables under huge shady sea grapes. The water was warm unfortunately it wasn't that clean. There was no under toe, the water was very calm and it felt like I was in the gulf. Dogs are not permitted on the beach, but there was a man with a cockatoo on his shoulder. Signs were posted regarding feral cats and warnings not to abandon pets here. It was a little bit of a walk from the parking lot down a few steps onto the beach.
