This is such a special treat for people of all ages! Ample parking, affordable entertainment, and plenty of space for whatever you plan to do while you visit. We checked this out on a chilly December day, and we were pleased by the customer service (very friendly staff) and the full and operational heaters to keep us warm while in the sluice. My kids both loved this, but it was genuinely fun for all of us. We bought two of the $18 bags, and the kids spent about an hour emptying them in search of gems. We found lots of beautiful stones that now get sorted and played with a lot at home. Coming back this month for an outdoor birthday party - what a great option to keep kids entertained during this endless pandemic!

We just moved to Cary and we were looking for something to get us out of the house. I found blue diamond on Google and we packed up and left. When we got there we had someone greet us and ask if we have been before. Showed us right to the cost of the buckets/bags and that was it. My kids had the best time! They are constantly asking to go back! The entire staff that day was so helpful! It's a hidden gem in Cary and we will definitely be back!

Extremely friendly staff and we were absolutely amazed by how many gems we got for the price! We got over a pound out of their $20 bucket but their cheapest option was only $9, and for just $8 the kids were able to go in with their goats, play on their ninja course playgrounds, and explore their cave adventure! Definitely a new go to for outing for the kids. Really nothing like it in the area and they've been open 30 years and been owned by 3 generations of the same family which is so rare to see these days!

I went with my sister and we got the collectors bucket, the mega load bucket, and a jackpot bucket.

This huge indoor playground is located in the Norris Park area in Apex. The playground is designed for infants up to 12-year-olds. When we got there about 945 on a Tuesday morning, there were only two other people. We were forewarned that a field trip group would be arriving at 10:15. Even when the group arrived, because of the large space, it didn't feel crowded. There are lots of mazes with hidden play areas...activities for both gross and fine motor skills. They also have assorted snacks and drinks available for purchase. This is a wonderful way to spend a few hours or even longer. The kids had a blast and us adults who accompanied them did as well!

It felt very clean today - in fact I ran into a neighbor who also remarked how clean the pieces of plastic were that you can see through. He loved exploring and watching other kids. I can't believe no one was there. My complaint in the past was that there were far too many kids and it was so loud I kept getting alerts for volume and damage to hearing on my Apple Watch. Today was calm. Today was fun. Today was more quiet. Today was lovely and we plan to return. Great way to play! Tip: I found about $40 that I handed into the cashier/front desk from the ball pit. Hang on to your money and spare change.

The zombie paintball hayride was more hayride, less paintball, and even less zombies. The event starts when you load up into a tractor which takes you on a 15 minute trip through the woods until you get to the "mounted" tractor. Each rider has their own paintball gun and ~100 paintballs. Once the tractor starts rolling you'll get a handful of practice shots before you reach the "zombies", which consisted of a couple of teenagers in paintball gear making noises and a whole lot of clothing stapled to trees as scarecrows. The "zombie paintball" part of the attraction lasts for 5 minutes or so, and then you get to shoot the rest of your ammo at exciting targets such as trees, garbage can lids, and more trees. Once that's done, you hop on the first tractor and take another 15 minute ride back to the farmhouse. In short, good idea, poor execution. The zombie portion is way too short, and the tractor ride is way too long. If you're looking to be scared, look elsewhere, as the tractor ride was by far the scariest part of the experience.

If you are a parent who needs to work on the side and using the counter table and chair, it can be a bit of a mess and you might need to clean. They don't get used much so it can be overlooked. The top counter needs to be dusted periodically. It is covered by a thick dust if you wipe it. You won't notice it at first because of the colour of the counter but if you put something on it, you will bring with you dust bunnies. Need to check on toilet paper too. ;) Beside from that, staff are nice and rely do their job. It's a big place so I know some areas can be missed sometimes.

They also have a few video games, and while they are more active games (pedaling or kicking a soccer ball) our little ones seemed to gravitate towards those - even though our hope with going there was to be off screens. It was incredibly crowded. We couldn't even find a spot in the parking lot. Lots of people were parking across the way at Carrabba's so we did the same, but then as we walked up to the Sky Zone entrance there was a sign that said they would tow and to park next to Office Max. So I went back and moved the car, however, that was not the most ideal lot to have to walk over with kids since there's no crosswalk.

I've definitely been to a few that I thought were overpriced for what you get. I highly recommend this place. It's super affordable ($10 per child to start and cheaper when you are paying for more than one kid, better value overall to get a monthly membership which I believe starts at $34 a month). It pays for itself if you just come here 3x a month or more. They've also got little snacks for sale up at the front desk and you can purchase socks for $1 (they've got music notes on them haha). We arrived early around 9:20am when the inflatable bounce houses were still getting filled but the doors were open and the person at the front desk said it was unexpectedly busy this morning! The place gets pretty busy but emptied out around 11:30 when I assume most people left to go get lunch/put kids down for nap time. Tons of cute little snack tables and chairs for the smaller kiddos and bigger ones for waiting parents/grandparents/caretakers etc. Lots of sanitizer on every counter. They also had Kleenex boxes out (they know their audience) and Clorox wipes at the front desk. There's 2 big bounce houses (a blue one and a red one). The red one is more for jumping and running around in circles and the blue one has a rainbow "floor" interior that is super fun to run across. There are also 2 karaoke rooms with an expansive music selection, colorful overhead lights, and microphones which you ask for from the front desk. They've got the giant piano on the floor like the one from the movie 'Big'. They've got music classes which I believe take place in the back near the restrooms. Love the giant guitar slide and it makes guitar sounds when you slide down. I went down the slide as well and it goes super quick!! I was definitely more scared going down than climbing up haha. Oh and they provide a shelf of croc sandals to wear if you need to rescue your frightened child (I made use of them). I could really go on forever about how amazing this place is. Absolutely exceeded expectations. Incredible experience and place and definitely will be returning!!

The play area is open and spaced out with a nice variety of musical things to play with. Before coming, I really was curious if there'd be enough to keep the little one interested. Big or little, the kids will be interested! By musical things, think less handheld instruments and more installments for lack of a better word, such as the interactive world map where touching the musical note plays music of that geographic location. The percussion pots and pans and bells room was a big hit. My toddler wasn't ready for the big guitar slide, with climbing handholds and bars, but was able to enjoy everything else, including the small slide. I found it easy to carry my infant around and plop him on the floor from time to time with little worry. Some bigger kids run around but there are many side areas that are safer for the wee babes. There's music playing in the background and of course sounds coming from the many installments, and children shrieking. But overall, I didn't find the sound to be too loud or nauseating like it can be in some restaurants and such. There's plenty of space to enjoy snacks outside of the play area and clean bathrooms. The staff I checked in with were quite friendly. Oh and I really thought the price per child to be reasonable compared to most other indoor museums and play places. We will definitely be back!
