However, during a wash last month, the shark fin antenna on the roof of my vehicle was broken off. I submitted a claim on-site, and the staff at the location were courteous and supportive. Unfortunately, the claims department denied responsibility without conducting any inspection or review of the vehicle, stating--without evidence--that the damage was due to a manufacturer defect. They also noted that no other vehicles were damaged that day, which is not a valid basis to dismiss an individual claim. To verify, I brought the vehicle to Chevrolet for inspection. Their assessment confirmed there is no manufacturer defect, and the damage is consistent with an external force--specifically, the car wash. They wanted 3 estimates I gave them more. I took time from work to get them their estimates. Estimators all said it scratched the back trunk of the car, it requires paint work and estimates were all near $1k. Clean Express insisted they were only going to pay for the wiper blade ($150), which was on all of the estimates. They dragged their feet on this incident out to almost a month. I needed a rear wiper due to weather conditions and replaced it myself. They said they WEREN'T going to compensate because I voided the incident by putting a wiper on myself (unreal), after 3 weeks. I had my family vehicles on their membership program. The car wash is good, vacuums are good if you can get to them. They offer free vacuums to everyone and more dirty cars vacuuming their cars than clean ones. It's hard to get a spot at times. I'm shocked at the professionalism. The staff/management is a major disappointment. They admitted (recordings) the machine caused damage to my Volvo! Do the right thing and compensate your customers, when you know you're in the wrong.

When I got out to vacuum my car, I noticed the windshield still had bird poop as well as the front of the car had bird poop. When I went the staff to mention this, they said "that must've just happened". In the 100 feet from the end of the car wash exit to the vacuums, it must've just happened. It used to be the old place took and sprayed and scrubbed the front to make sure the hardest hit area from bugs and stuff. Nope, not anymore. I don't recommend their car washes.

I was passing through the area when my maps informed me Valley Laser Wash was nearby. If you don't know this area, it's very easy to drive by the location as it's a little set back on the grounds. It's a self-pay kiosk car wash, meaning there's no attendants there to help. You basically just pop your credit card in the machine, select your wash and self-guide in against the light-up sign instructions. The signs were clear enough to follow even through the physical wash itself. For a self-guided car wash it was a fine experience! No complaints about how it washed my car. I paid for the premium wash (again, my poor car really needed it), and I was happy with the results. The prices seem to be a little under-market too (especially the premium wash), though you'll pay for vacuums. If you're in this industrial part of Northeast Ohio and need a car wash, I definitely recommend this 24 hour laser wash.
