This a small nail shop with only a few ladies working . Kelly is the nail tech i have had the pleasure of working with my last 2 visits. I broke my leg last year, pretty bad and it had been many months since i had been to a nail shop. I needed my cuticles cleaned but what i was really interested in was the leg massage. I called about an hour before closing and was told if i got there fast they could see me today. Kelly greeted me and then i explained my situation. I selected the deluxe pedicure for $60 and she really made me feel like i got my monies worth and my leg walked better after her massage and care. I got a punch card and go back monthly when i can . The 2nd time i went back she remembered me. There is something special about local shops who are in tune to their regular customers. Highly recommend this gem. read more

Came in on a Friday morning right after they had opened. I hadn't been here in years so wasn't sure if there was a different owner. Rose was my tech and while she was kind and friendly, her services left something to be desired. She cut me several times, my nails were bumpy and uneven with different lengths on each hand and two days after my service the gel was peeling. To give you an idea of what I am used to: my gel/acrylic/dip manicures typically last three weeks easily and I had to get them redone in less than a week- for design services as well as main service I pay $45. The price for basic gel here was $50 and it just didn't reflect the outcome. I don't think I could recommend this salon and it's probably my own fault for cheating on my usual tech :) read more

Hate to leave this review because I love going here but I just had one of the worst experiences. I went in Saturday to get a full acrylic set, the lady was doing a sloppy job (cutting me, mis shaped nails, wrong sized nails, super think nails, bumpy nails) so I tried to speak up and say something and she blew me off and got frustrated at me. When I got home I realized how bad they were and went back in Sunday to see if they could fix them and was hoping for someone else but I got the same lady and she kept telling me nothing was wrong the whole time, she cut me more, left nails when I pointed out something, forgot a coat of polish, then at the end handed me the file and told me to fix it. I was beyond words and very upset so I left after she handed me the file. I've never been so gaslighted and pushed off when getting my nails done. read more

This is my new go to place for mani / pedis. Thanks to fellow yelpers I found this place when the nail salon I like to frequent was busy. I often forget to make an appointment and like to be a walk-in. This place doesn't disappoint, there are plenty of technicians to take care of their clients. My last visit the technician made a suggestion on color and it was a thousand times better than what I selected myself. I also find that the regular lacquer colors last a little longer than other salons I've been with in the past (huge plus in my book). Indulgent with a capital I. I got the Harbor Point mani and pedi this morning and I feel like a brand new woman. The Harbor Point mani/pedi includes the basics plus a delicious smelling exfoliating scrub, a minty good clay mask, paraffin treatment, hot stone treatment and a positively glorious massage. The massage was nice and long, unlike some salons where it seems to be an afterthought. This massage included my feet, legs, hands, arms, shoulders and face. I was practically jello by the time I left. The staff is extremely nice and not pushy, I did not opt for the gel/shellac and no one tried to push it on me. The finishes product was perfect. I smudged a couple of nails as I was drying (I'm so clumsy, LOL) and they fixed it quickly and without any drama (I've been scolded at other places, wth?). They have two kid-sizes chairs, and I forsee a mother/daughter day soon. I cannot wait to go back! read more

$30 to remove acrylics and get a "manicure". I sat there with my hands in a bowl of acetone for 25 minutes and I can still see a thick layer of acrylic on my nail. The ladies were very kind but shredded my cuticles as well. I had to tell them 4+ times that i didn't want polish. Overall took 40 minutes and all they did was damage. She didn't even bother to shape my nails, which is what a manicure should include. read more

This place used to be really great, my go-to nail salon. Unfortunately in the past couple years it's gone downhill. The owner used to be in all the time and she was wonderful to work with. I continued to come in although I noticed a dip in customer service and overall quality of the nail services they offer. But having attempted a visit on a few occasions and being turned away despite a nearly empty salon I realized it was no longer worth it. The technicians have cut my fingers once or twice, sped through my service and left things untidy and just overall lacking in care. The salon itself is very small and becoming quite cluttered. Wonderful owner who did my pedicure... but due to Covid She had to lay off 5 of her workers as no customers... I was the only one in her shop yesterday... just the two of us... felt very relaxing and pampered as I can't move my leg, she did it for me and afterwards put my socks and shoe and walking boot back on for me... I came here on vacation from California. I've had my nails done all over Southern California, but Blue Harbor was HANDS DOWN the BEST nail experience I've ever had. My mom and I both had the deluxe pedi/mani, which came with hot stones, massage, and paraffin wax, my feet and hands have never been so soft. So I called today @ 11:52am and made a 2 PM appointment with Kimmie, I showed up at 1:50 PM. They said, they had to many customers and couldn't help me. I said I have an appointment, then both workers, Immediately started in with, "u did not call for an appointment", she Kept showing me the appointment calendar, which didn't have any appts (odd), A pedicurist jumped in and said "u called a different salon" "no I did not' I said, you're in my phone, so I pulled up my recent calls and showed them both, @ different times, I made a call at 11:52. Then I was told " u hung up before we answered" "u didn't let it ring long enough" "u didn't call here, u called other salon" Even though I showed them, I made a call to them at 11:52. I even hit call and their phone rang and She answered it, And still told me I didn't talk to them!! They said everything except, I am sorry WE MADE A MISTAKE and didn't write down your appointment! THEY BLAMED ME REPEATEDLY, for calling the wrong salon, again it's listed In my phone, that I made the call, they wouldn't admit that Someone there screwed up, end it wouldn't of been an issue AT ALL, had they just said "oh I'm so sorry, we didn't put it in the Schedule" I get it! What I do not except, is that you blame the customer repeatedly, with four different scenarios, of how I did something wrong, when you just didn't mark down that I called two hours earlier!! My picture shows that I need to fill lol they wouldn't allow me to make an appointment for tomorrow or later that day, they wanted me to go home and call. The sad thing is is I was told by the owner that they're having a hard time, before Covid that new beautiful shop opened up next to Thriftway W/ Free drinks, Then Covid, but I have to say throughout my years there I felt that they tried to add Random charges like $8 color change, on a fill, that's not how it works. And that was years ago and one of the reasons I left but, I was hoping to go back because my other salon closed. It was the worst experience in my life. I did nail extensions in this place, after which I received a blue pus bacillus. I was fired from work because I work with children and these people offered me a refund of 10 dollars. after they removed the extended nails, they asked to pay for this service. I am shocked how such companies are allowed to work. there is no hygiene and an understanding of what it is .. I highly recommend this establishment, it is better to overpay and get good service elsewhere, and be sure about your health. read more

I originally asked her to fix the shape of my nails because they were crooked and looked bubbly and I got ignored and told she wasn't done. However further into the service she still didn't fix them. Although the price was reasonable, the service was just okay? Not great. My manicure chipped that night and I noticed the final polish wasn't even. My mom's pedicure polish was sloppy but the massage seemed great. The ladies couldn't stop talking about how I opted out to a plain manicure instead of a gel, passively aggressive with it the whole time I was there. This place has gone so far downhill over the past couple of years. I always feel like I'm bothering them by coming in and the place feels dirty and cluttered. The pedicures are terrible, nails come out painted nice but they don't spend any time at all on scrubbing your feet and really trimming cuticles. I am so disappointed as this used to bey favorite place. Now I avoid it at all costs unless I'm desperate, since it's so close to my house. The 2 stars are solely attributed to (1) the awesome shoulder massage I was given when I upgraded my manicure, and (2) the two kids pedi chairs which make it a nice option for your little ones. read more

Popped in to Blue Harbor before catching a movie at Cinebarre and had a lovely experience! It's totally walkable from the movie theater, too. It's a small place, kind of cramped, but they make good use of the space. It wasn't busy when my friend and I were in so it didn't feel overwhelmingly small. I got the spa mani/pedi ($40) and it was wonderful - every staff member was lovely and gracious. Great OPI color selection! Relaxing calf and arm massage... I almost fell asleep. The massage chairs were a bonus, and the ladies made sure to keep turning it on for me while my nails were still drying. FYI: they use the cheese grater thing on your feet, so they mean business. And they have a heated fan to help your nails dry quicker. I'd definitely go back! Manis/pedis followed by a boozy lunch/movie at Cinebarre made for a nice girls' date day. read more

This is a nice cute nail salon. Not many seats, biut the ladies are friendly and fast. My husband and I got a mani/pedi. Love the small things that are included, message on arms and legs, scrubs and warm lotion. Wish the filled the nail with polish and didn't leave as much of a gap on the side. Horrible mani! I had shellac on and then had me sit in acetone for 35 mins! I even said something at minute 20 because it's started burning and they still did nothing to remove it. I asked for just a regular mani with clear polish and they put a layer of shellac on without my consent. Now it's coming off in flakes and I had to spend more money and time to have that layer removed. SO ANNOYED. Worst mani I've ever had.! read more
