I was in desperate need of eyebrow wax & tint she was great! also suggested getting my eyelashes tinted to make them more defined. (Great suggestion I did) She was friendly, professional and answered some questions about the difference between waxing and sugaring. I originally asked for sugaring but my eyebrows weren't quite long enough, I will definitely give it a try sometime. She is my NEW brow Girl!! My second visit was with Janna she gave me a total hair overhaul, she is a hair god!!! Ladies ask for Janna she brought my hair back from the dead. I had given up on my hair and went dark after a touch up gone wrong with another stylist at another location. Janna gave my hair life again with full foils & root touch up. My hair looks and feels great!! Definitely my NEW stylist! I can't rave enough about this place, I was even welcomed with a morning cup of coffee. Lost a year plus client. I feel like my cancellation was handled unprofessionally. I have never canceled an appointment in probably 1 1/2 years of root touch ups & several foil treatments plus numerous hair cuts & gloss. I had to cancel an appointment due to a sick child at 23 hours plus some minutes. So very close to 24 hours. Lindsey immediately charged me full price for my first cancellation & said "I charged your card on file" . I understand the loss of a service but not even a " hey, is everything okay" "I want to give you the benefit of the doubt" & maybe charge half price. Now I will not return I even waited a day to think about if I should leave a review. I have been flexible for her over the 1 1/2 years but I was not treated the same. My hair services were average btw not suburb or anything so pretty easy to find another hairdresser. Sad I had to write this. read more

I researched where to cut my long hair after my special day, and since it's summer, I chose Bellis Salon and Spa. I only wanted a cut and treatment, so I didn't try other services. Stacia cut my hair. I'm scared that she used shears to thin my long hair, which made the process better. Another one, chair setup meant I got a lot of hair on my skin due to my soft pants, which wasn't comfortable seating on me like a sofa chair. However, she was very nice, friendly, and attentive to my needs. She even accommodated me earlier than my scheduled time. A month later, my hair feels happy, thinner, and soft. I appreciate her work and love how light my hair feels. I'm just afraid about shears my hair but it is worth it. I would return if I need another cut! read more

I've had a couple of great haircuts done here so I decided to book a highlight and haircut wanting to give my bleach and tone hair some dimension. I came in to see Lindsay with a blonde inspiration video and was expecting to blend out my roots and have a pretty look for my engagement pictures this week, but ended up with, well...big streaks. This looks like early 2000's hair to me - too many dark foils, and lots of breakage from bleaching my already platinum ends. It came out very dark all over with chunky blonde streaks at first. A bleach wash and tone afterwards made it not quite as dark, but I was not expecting this sort of y2k technique from a salon in 2023. I came back in a couple of days later under the impression that she was going to fix the streaks, but now I'm left with different toned streaks and more damage instead. I was told from another stylist that babylights and only depositing color for a root smudge is what needed to happen, but now I need to give my hair a much needed break and live with this awkward hair in the meantime. The atmosphere is nice and the stylists all seem kind, but I'm so disappointed about what was done to my hair :( read more

I never ever have left a review however, I had a rough go with at home brow lamination and after a couple days of pondering I decided to consult a professional. I reached out to about 5 places and no one responded. Kierre at Bellis Salon was the first to respond back with a phone call! She got me in the next day for a consult and even tweezed my brows to clean them up. She made me feel beautiful again! She even put my worries at ease. Very nice staff but unfortunately the lash lift didn't work, the next day my lashes were back to how they usually are. I've had lash lifts done at other salons that worked well so I'm unsure if maybe the materials they use are not effective or something. read more

Today I had an appointment with Alena for a full set hybrid lash extensions, I've had lash extensions many times and have had many different regular estheticians, I have gone to peoples houses, beauty schools and high end salons and bellis salon is by far the best experience I've had. Everyone I came in contact with was nice and professional, Alena does Amazing lashes! Exactly how I wanted and I didn't really even explain it well to her. Also she let this non stop PTA mom take a nap while she did my lashes! I'm a plus size woman also and if your plus size beds are something you think about, I laid there for 2 hours and it was comfortable, Alena also offered me a knee pillow. Literally every aspect of this salon gets a 5+ star rating from me, especially my stylist Stacia Johnson. Like seriously go ahead, do yourself a favor and book all of your styling, coloring, or treatment needs with her. She is beyond talented and makes you feel like you're just hanging out as friends having a grand ol time together. She's so knowledgeable on all of the products, and isn't pushy in the least. She lets you know what would be most appropriate for your hair needs and is open about pricing and sizing which is so helpful. She did an incredible job with my Brazilian blowout, so much so that I'll be returning to her for all of my hair needs! Since the blowout is a longer process she was so sweet in letting me get up to stretch if needed and let me tell you! I got a bit sweaty from the chair, and she full blown blow dried my back for me since I was such a mess lol! You know you've got an amazing stylist when they offer to dry your back for you haha! The salon itself is clean and tidy and they have a TON of high quality products to choose from for all kinds of hair needs. I also feel their pricing is more than appropriate and affordable for the quality and service you receive. As for parking, they do have a parking lot on site which is nice so you don't have to stress about finding street spots far away, but if you're lucky like me and get there early there is one or two spots right out front that is designated 90 minute parking. read more

I went here for a dermaplaning facial with Abbie, this was my first time at this spa and first time having dermaplaning. My skin is dry, sensitive and prone to redness. It have to be careful about what I do to it. After the facial, my skin looks fantastic! It looks brighter, cleaner, and healthier. Abbie walked me through all the steps but did not fill the time with small talk. I went after work and it was nice to lay down and relax without having to follow a conversation. When my hair salon for the last 12 years closed, I had to find a new place. I wanted to go local this time (had been trekking to Ballard), so I called a few places near me. The first two weren't impressive when I tried to ask about their color products, etc. Jana, the owner at Bellis, answered the phone there and she was helpful and friendly. She seemed to get what I was asking and she went out of her way to fit me in quickly. A few years back, my stylist went on maternity leave, and the people I tried while she was gone wrecked my cut and ruined my color. I was pretty nervous to try a new person again. But, I was also desperate! Jana was great to work with. She listened, she asked questions, and she stopped during the cut to get my feedback a couple times. The cut was super close to what I wanted, and the color was good. I have a hard time describing things, so I was impressed! I booked another appointment, and the second time she nailed the cut! It's hard to find someone to cut short hair well, and Jana is a pro! The haircut not only looks great, it's SOOOO easy to work with. I've now had three cuts, and I'll go back for color next month. Stacia Johnson is AMAZING! Go see her at Bellis Salon, you won't regret it! I have thick, wavy/curly hair and it is SO hard to find someone who knows how to handle that beast! I ran into a situation a couple of months ago where I desperately needed to have my hair done. I was in between a rock and a hard place, literally....I was debating on just putting a back over my head due to my poor hair! I called and went into the salon so they could look at my hair and see what I needed done as well as how they could fit me in to the schedule to have my hair be presentable for my work trip. I needed my blonde foils cleaned up as they had turned brassy, my roots touched up and a cut. I was a mess. Stacia to the rescue. She had an opening the next day by chance and she fixed me up. I walked out of there feeling refreshed and presentable vs my initial thought of just walking around with a bag over my head on my work trip. Probably not a good look for the East Coast... Stacia has now been doing my hair for a few months. She chopped off about 8 1/2 inches and I now have a layered stacked a-line bob with an undercut. She has done numerous designs for my undercut and I constantly get compliments every where I go. My hair is awesome, fun, perfect for summer. From this whole hair debacle; I found someone who knows what she is doing. She is very experienced, friendly, honest when you show her a picture on whether or not that will work with your hair/face shape and just an overall good person. Her skills are phenomenal and you will feel at ease. Also, she gives amazing scalp massages when she washes your hair, literally, my stress melts away. The salon itself is cute, there is free coffee, butter snap pretzels and a little candy jar. They have a clean restroom and fun items to purchase such as sunglasses ( I have now bought 3 pairs), makeup, bralettes, purses and of course amazing hair products such as Loma. I really loved coming here until today. I had to make a cancellation due to being extremely sick (puking all day long) and Jenn still charged me the full price of my appointment. She said they took into account my "cancellation history" when I've canceled within the time frame previously. I ended up taking a Covid test which was positive and sent it to her and she didn't reply. Every other business I've been to is understanding when it comes to being sick especially after the pandemic, but I guess they run their business differently. Second time and Stacia was AMAZING, again! This time I had a full foil highlights done on my just-above-the-shoulder curly blonde hair, going from dishwater blonde to a cool ash blonde. I love it. It looks absolutely fantastic. The craftsmanship is a 10/10, I believe she used somewhere between 75-100 foils because my hair isn't thick -it's dense, there are a LOT of strands, and the highlights are consistent and beautiful and natural looking... Oh my goodness, I shouldn't have resisted so long. Worth every. single. PENNY. The one thing I would say is to ask to see the color book; she was about to start doing the foils without me having personally signed off on the specific color, which I found a bit unnerving. But I asked and picked and consulted with her to make sure it would match my skin tone and it 100% does. I love it so much. It is PERFECT. She was also comfortably quick -the entire appointment only took about 90 minutes, despite having to section and comb a dry afro. 100% will be back. read more

I went here a few months ago because I saw all the great reviews and moved up here recently so I decided to try it out. I asked for a dark ash brown balayage and I had medium/dark brown hair to start with. The stylist was using foils in my hair, taking huge sections and didn't blend anything... I have gotten a balayage several times before and thought maybe I just had never seen this technique before but I should have trusted my gut in the moment and said something. After everything my hair was red/orange I looked like a complete ginger and my hair was absolutely fried. I ended up going back down south to my old stylist an hour away for a color correction which cost $450 and we had to cut my hair to above my shoulders because of the damage.
