I'm not one to write many reviews but I know how stressed out I was when searching for a company to build my pool. I have heard of several bad stories and friends that have gone through a lot of issues. I will tell you that Blue Haven is the BEST! I have no regrets and I will say every step of the process was very professional. The whole crew involved with Blue Haven took pride in their work and always put in 100%. Everyone involved went above and beyond to make us happy. Jeff is very talented and helped design the pool and answer all the questions we had. I had the pleasure to meet Brad after we signed at the pool layout and he was Extremely knowledgeable and professional! You can tell he has tons of experience. Just when I thought it couldn't get any better, I was introduced to Zach! Zach became our project manager and we could not have asked for anyone better. We were very fortunate to have Zach on our side during the whole process. We had some other construction going on inside our house at the same time as the pool and Zach made sure everything was dealt with outside in regards to the pool! He really helped with my stress level and always had a way to make me smile. He has tons of patience and was excellent at communicating with us everything that was being done and what to expect next! I am elated with Blue Havens transformation of my backyard into a relaxing Oasis! From design & pricing (Jeff), digging, framing & layout (Kevin), final touches of decking, choice of pebbles and tiling (Heather) through completion, the process was effortless. Such a wonderful experience from start to finish.......every sinle team member was professional and helpful in every way possible. Phone calls and questions were addressed immediately and I had plenty. Zach was instrumental throughout the entire build with his daily communications, attention to detail, helpful suggestions, project coordination and his high level of expectations for the customer. Blue Haven Pools is an amazing company. They took over after we were abused, cheated, and lied to by our original contractor. We were so nervous after what we had been through, and this was our first pool. From the minute they took over the job, it went exactly how it was supposed to go. All timelines met, great customer service, and a wonderful final product. They did an amazing job, and I cannot tell you how happy we are. The pool looks absolutely amazing, and we are enjoying every second of it. Joe Kush is the General Manager, and when I tell you that I have never worked with a sweeter and more caring person on any project we have ever done. He has made sure everything has gone the way it should, and has taken wonderful care of us. He is phenomenal. After researching a few pool companies in the area, I decided to go with Blue Haven. I wanted to maximize the largest pool size my backyard could fit and to include raised hot tub, sun ledge, and sunken kitchen/bar with a patio cover above combined rain descent feature. In contrast with responses from the first companies I reached out to, with Blue Haven, my ideas were always met with an open mind and eagerness to help bring my vision to reality. From working with Brandon Elkins during the design process and then transitioning to Chris Miller who handled the project management, they were always quick to answer any questions or concerns I had along the several months it takes to complete a pool build. We just finish filling our new pool in Mount Pleasant SC. Our project manager, John, made the process easy. He did an excellent job keeping the project on schedule, in many cases, pulling the plan ahead of schedule. His work managing the subcontractors was amazing, while most subs were great, we did have a few issues and John was there to take care of it all, the issues were almost transparent to us. His attention to detail and pre-planning assured us we were getting exactly what we paid for and he didn't disappoint. He was always there and made sure the communication channels were open and clear, rarely did we encounter any surprises. We had a great experience with Blue Haven Pools from start to finish. Jeff was a wonderful resource throughout the design process and came to our home several times and addressed all of our questions and concerns (and we had many). Once the plan was finalized, Brad and Scott were a great team communicating clear and realistic expectations for how things were going to go. We had a pool party planned for our two daughters when the pump went down. Nick at Blue Haven ordered a replacement which was free under warranty. When Tad went to install it, he realized it was the wrong pump. The party was two days away and somehow, someway, they found another pump locally and installed it the next day in time for the party. Nick and Tad both went above and beyond to make this happen because if they'd gone the traditional route and waited for the manufacturer to ship out the replacement pump, the pool would not have been repaired in time for the pool party. I decided in the middle of structural construction on our home that our pool needed attention. I reached out to Chris at Blue Haven and in the midst of chaos surrounding me,he listened to exactly what I wanted and made it happen. He made the scope of work I wanted go extremely smooth and I didn't have to do anything other than pick the color of the coping and pebble stone concrete as I had already chosen the tile. After Jeff came out to our house we went the amazing showroom they have and it really gave us an idea of the quality of work they do. Pool exceeded our expectations. There are many obstacles to building a pool and the team at blue haven are there to assist and make any bad situation good. They also take ownership of the products they place in your backyard and are quick to remedy any issues that arise. Blue Haven was great from the beginning of the project. They worked with us to design exactly what we wanted. We added a tanning ledge, bar stools and a table. It turned out beautifully. We have had our pool now for 4 years and we have had no issues. We are ready to add a hot tub now and will definitely be using Blue Haven again! read more
