She immediately started ringing me up without saying hello. She also did not hand me my bag. I had to reach over the counter to grab it myself. Small actions matter. A greeting and basic courtesy go a long way. I hope management works on improving the customer experience so everyone feels acknowledged and respected when they walk in.

The woman at the register was super nice. It was a random stop for us while passing through, but a nice place to browse, shop, and walk our dogs too. The shirt and souvenir section also had some good variety of items. Now I wish I would have bought a "You are nowhere" shirt, for fun!

We also split a Mango Lassi. After a short wait, our orders came out and we could finally start eating. The Basmati Rice was fluffy and worked really well with our entrées. The Chicken Vindaloo was delicious and spicy but my mouth recovered after a while. The Saag Paneer was likewise very good. But the Garlic Naan was the absolute bomb!! As CDL drivers, we're required to manage our hours of service and get proper rest to stay safe on the road. Waking drivers in the middle of their break and forcing them to move creates unnecessary stress and can affect safety for everyone. If parking restrictions exist, they should be communicated professionally before drivers park--not by having police wake sleeping drivers. I hope management addresses how truckers are treated, because we're the people keeping freight moving across the country.
