I made reservations at this campground in December 2025 for a one-night stay in June 2026. After reading several terrible recent reviews about the condition and management of the park, I decided it would be best to stay elsewhere. Before cancelling, I reviewed my reservation confirmation, which clearly stated that cancellations made more than 30 days in advance would receive a refund of the deposit minus a $35 booking fee. Since I was well outside the 30-day window, I called today to cancel. I was told the campground is now under new management and they are not honoring any previous policies or agreements, so I would not receive any refund at all. I explained that the recent negative reviews were the reason I no longer felt comfortable staying there. The person I spoke with simply repeated "no refund" and then hung up on me. Very disappointing and unprofessional customer service. Be aware before booking here, especially if you expect them to honor their written cancellation policies. I strongly recommend staying elsewhere. read more

I had two long term stays at this park. Everyone on staff was extremely kind, friendly and helpful. The park had all needed amenities and were kept in good working order. The staff was accommodating to my needs and were willing to help anytime I needed assistance. They provided information on a great local RV repair man (Kent's Mobile RV Repair). Close to everything in North Platte, including some local attractions. Sites were easily accessible and kept up. I felt very safe and other tenants were kind and helpful. This is a great place for RV's. We came here to visit our son and found this little gem of a place. It has all that you need, full hookups, good price, laundry, showers, tent sites, and a pool. No, it's not a KOA, but it doesn't cost as much as one either! Convenient to I-80. read more

Campground was safe and clean . 4 stars 2 for staff . 1 for highway noise level - highway was 100-150 yards away. Nice enough campground but outdated and tired. Pool was not functional. Right by highway so extremely noisy . Area smelled like a cattle or horse truck had stayed as urine smell was overwhelming once you stepped out of your camper. We were on our way to another campsite that was 30.00 off season and on recommendation of a family member of the owner we pulled into Holiday RV at 10 pm. We were told it was same price. We assumed that meant all sites - our mistake. We didn't know there were different charges for different sites as there was no signs stating so or that we could see in the dark. We looked for a drop box to pay but there was none. Instead of leaving at 6 am we waited until 8 am so we could pay for our stay only to find out that we had inadvertently parked in a full hook up site . When I explained to the staff member and then the owner that we had not used water or sewer - only 3.5 hours of a tiny space heater there was a unwillingness of the owner to work with us on the 20.00 price difference. If she had split the difference I would have been fine with it. Another thing that I was annoyed by was the fact that the staff lady went in and on about how dangerous and not nice the original campground was that we wanted to go to for 30.00 a night. When I asked her more about it she said- she'd never been there. Then I wondered :) how did she know so much about it? We are now at the original place that we were going to camp at and it's along a river and quite beautiful, peaceful and clean . Looking forward to saving 80.00 over the next few nights and not listening to trains and tractor trailer trucks all night . read more

Our kids are 7,5,&4 They love a pool so if a little Dirt doesn't bother you or your kids this place will work just fine. We like to run some energy out of our kids after 16hrs in the rv. Seriously. We just got here only one night but I highly recommend the RVers not ever use this campground. You have to reserve through a virtual assistant that has no idea about the park and will screw it up. They had me in 2 spots both of which were supposed to have the outlets I needed. Neither one did, went back and raised Caton after the young woman rolled her eyes and insinuated now I would have to redo 2 pages of paperwork. I informed angrily if that was the case they could simply refund to my card and I'll find a place down the road. We now have electric but no sewer hookup so we will have to find a dump station. I refuse to allow it to ruin what has been a fantastic 2 weeks in the mountains, but I highly recommend you find another place of you are an RV family. read more

We stayed here one night, just passing through on our way home. This is an older park with very narrow streets running through it and some tight turns getting into it, not easy access for a big rig! We didn't use any of their facilities, so I'm not rating this park on those. We were given a pull-through site which we fit into just fine, all dirt and gravel... Our main issue was getting out this morning, there were pick-up trucks from "residents" partially blocking the roadway. We have a 45ft Coach and we tow a Jeep it was very tight getting out... Easy to make a reservation and the office staff was very nice! read more

This used to be our favorite North Platte spot. We adore the pool in the shape of Nebraska. The last two times-no pool. It hasn't been open in a long time-yet they advertise they have one. Traveling with kids in the summer-maybe consider another spot. For a quick overnight spot, it's a partly shaded clean choice. read more

We were on our way back to Texas from a week in Deadwood. This place made it easy to make reservations. Very friendly folks on the phone and at the front desk. It was easy access from the highway and very accessible with our 40 ft 5th wheel. We were only here one night but it served our purpose perfectly. Boulder Park, but seems to be relatively well kept up roads are gravel. Sites are large enough that you don't need to unhook if you're only staying one night. Lot of mature trees around so there is a nice shade in most of the sites. Can't comment on the bathrooms or the laundry as we did not use them. They're easy on easy off the expressway on I-80. With Good Sam and paying cash we got a total of 15% off. I would recommend this Campground if you're traveling through Nebraska on I-80 read more

Great camp site. Love the trees. Spaces are flat and makes for easy set up. Playground pool and nice space for kids to ride bikes. Best is the Wild Bill Cody museum. A must visit. Nice friendly place to stay. Employees were very nice. Book early though because they did fill up. We didn't have any road noise until our a/c suddenly went out at 3am. It was rather hot so we had to open up windows and wow the road noise and helicopters that flew over head every 15 min! Then the birds started chirping at 3:30am. Otherwise the place was great and I would use them again. The camp offered Good Sam discounts and cash discounts. read more

This park was well located for our trip. It is right off the freeway and on the edge of town. There are restaurants within walking distance. Nice mature trees, wide gravel roads, and level gravel sites for the most part. The people in the office were very friendly and informative ( I haven't been called "honey" so often in 10 minutes--and I enjoyed it!). We didn't use the other facilities. Some small problems with the cable-CBS signal kept fracturing. While there is a dog area, it isn't fenced and it is right next to the road. No one complained when I played with Diego in the grass by the playground. I would be happy to have all the parks like this as we travel across country. read more

Decent campground with easy highway access but with that comes alot o f road noise. Exceptionally clean bathing and laundry facilities yet don't even THINK of having any laundry going during the posted closed for cleaning time. I was unfortunately mid cycle during this time and I would have got friendlier treatment by ISIS . I apologized and suggested that if it was this crucial to have the machines empty and no one in there during this important "window " that they increase the closed time . This suggestion was shot right down very rudely . This time calculation must be carefully done by us CUSTOMERS! Beware campers . read more

Close to the highway- pro and con. Easy to find and good for quick overnight while driving through, but lots of road noise. We arrived after the office closed and they were accommodating with our late arrival, leaving instructions and directions and called with wifi and bathroom codes ahead of time. Discount if you pay with cash. We were there less than 12 hours so can't comment on any amenities, but was adequate for our quick tent stay. read more

Very friendly staff. We were arriving after the office closed, so they called to give us instructions and internet/bathroom codes before closing. We arrived at 10:30 pm and the office was still open. This is NOT a quiet place as is right beside the freeway. The bathroom facilities are old but adequate. Several hooks were in each shower stall - thank you. We did not use the pool, but it looked clean. I will choose a different RV park next time; one that is farther from the freeway. read more

I said that I had a van towing a small trailer and needed a tent space with no water and electric. When I got there the lady at the office ( the same one I spoke with earlier) said that there was only two spaces left that had water and electric that she would have to charge me for. I was tired of driving and accepted. When I returned from diner I found that all 5 of the tent spaces were empty at 11:30. We got to this campground on Thursday we wanted to tent camp . We wanted to check the site before staying. My wife had to use the bathroom they would not let her use it until we booked. 15 Motorcoaches of the Colorado Columbines Family Motor Coach Assoc. (FMCA) stayed at this park from May 11th to 15th for our May rally. We highly recommend this park for individual stops, or group rallies. The park has wide, long, and level pull thrus, is exceptionally clean, and the management was most courteous and helpful. The park has excellent amenities such as a nice swimming pool (not open in May),clean restrooms and laundry facilities, plus a well stocked RV store. Park also has cable TV, good 30 and 50 amp. service, a nice pavilion and great tasting water. The park is close to I-80, but none of our group commented about noise. There are lots of things to do in the North Platte area i.e. the world's largest rail yard and Golden Spike Tower, Buffalo Bill's home, County Museum display where World War II Neb., KS, and WY folks met and provided refreshments and encouragement for every troop train coming through!
