If you have children (especially in strollers), are in a wheelchair or have anything larger than a small handbag on your person, you'll find that navigating this shop is difficult. The aisles are incredibly narrow; inventory fills every available nook and cranny from floor to ceiling. There are trinkets and knick-knacks all around-some look to be collectables. You walk through a clothing store, head to the back, and enter the restaurant through a hidden bookcase. If that doesn't earn points right away, I don't know what does. Inside, the decor is dark, classy and speakeasy-inspired without trying too hard. Great music, great atmosphere, and the service was excellent from start to finish. Our server was attentive, friendly, knew the menu, and really helped make the night feel like an experience instead of just dinner. The food was outstanding. We tried the crab cake, meatballs with bacon jam, Salade Maison, peach burrata with crostini, the hanging chicken kabob with avocado, and finished with the Cigar Ice Cream. Everything was flavorful, creative and beautifully presented. Even the little details were fun, including the cocktail napkins that say, "Tequila won't fix all your problems, but it's worth a shot." They stood next to me the whole time. I asked one woman if they carried a certain foot, she went off " looking for more information". After 15 minutes she came back to the counter and started folding fabric again. She was the only worker that would speak to me. I had money to spend but I guess having children with you means 'do not help'. At that point I left. Walking out my 5 year old asked, ' we aren't buying anything?' I said 'not now', loud enough for the two ladies behind the desk to hear me. I didn't want to drive to Las Vegas but it is looking like that will be the plan.
