Hot mess express. Come here if you wanna get scammed. The bar tender asked me for my order, I ordered a very simple patron and pineapple and she charged me 24? For one drink guys. I gave her a TWO 20's (total of 40) and waited 20 minutes for her to give me my change back. She was trying to pocket my change. I asked her 3 times for my change and she kept saying one minute and continued taking everyone elses order/giving ppl who came AFTER me their change. The women in there are also very stiff and stuck up. Bbl just to provide terrible service at a very hole in the wall establishment. Some ppl asked us to hold our coats, didn't mention a fee, and wouldnt give us the coats til we paid the fee that was never mentioned. I'm surprised we did not get charged to use the toilet. Today was my first time trying this place. The atmosphere is cute and nice and a vibe. But the food... was NOT good. They have good Hispanic music. Our food took very long and what i say our food the appetizers came out the same time as our main dish. My meal was missing the rice it never came out. The oxtails came out without rice , and the goat came out with rice. We had a very nice server but didn't fulfill our orders correctly. The taste of the food wasn't anything special either. Food is good in my opinion I like there steak and there drinks are strong and good. It can be expensive so come with a good budget. Service is alright I wouldn't say it's top tier but it's something. Ambiance is cool the place is rather small so maybe good for lunch with a friend but not really a family dinner type of place. 3.5 to 4/10 read more

*Beware of Scammer Waitress* We came here over the weekend to have a drink while waiting to get into another restaurant for my birthday. We gave the place a shot because it looked fun on the outside. So we get seated in the back where the speakers are over our heads LOUD as can be. I'm talking like the waitress had to bend forward blocking one ear to hear us order. The waitress seemed pretty annoyed that we weren't ready to order right away. We get our drinks - overly sugary. We ordered the quickest easiest thing you can't mess up chicken quesadillas and guacamole with plantains - was really good but hi, you can't mess that up. Then comes the bill. 18% automatic gratuity with 5 or more people- ok that's fine. Tells us only 2 cards can be used BUT nothing states that on the site nor menu - ok fine. So my other friends gave cash. Luckily my friend caught her overcharging us and pocketing a $20 on-top of her 18% gratuity! My friend was the only one who spoke Spanish and talked to her about it. She denied it. They kept going back n forth and eventually said bring the manager over. She goes the manager isn't here. How is the manager not there on a Saturday night?! And it was early too! Then we said you need to refund the cards since she overcharged. She goes no, that's for my tip. Also says we can't refund cards. Excuse me? You already got it and now want more money?! Plus, never heard in my life that you can't refund a card! So we said cash then and she gave back the money she tried to scam us from. She also didn't hide back her facial expressions of a guilty person. I don't know if it's because we don't look Spanish or she thought let me take advantage of these girls (we were dressed NIIIICE because birthday celebration to go to Vaka Lounge which I highly recommend) so maybe she thought she could pull a fast one? Ordered a seafood salad I was told it would take 45 minutes. When I showed up they didn't even know my ordered had been place, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and called them 45 minutes after and they told me I had to wait another 30 minutes. When I had asked for a refund the rude waitress wanted to tell me she couldn't process it that she needed her manger. He wasn't in the building and it was a Tuesday afternoon. Highly don't recommend staff is rude, place is too loud and you can barely communicate because of it. read more

Food tastes great and the presentation for their plates is awesome! The waitresses I've had have all been good for the most part. I think some of the prices are a little steep compared to some of the other local restaurants that serve the same kind of food. Can't wait to try more dishes. read more

The food is awesome and very quick! They have a very large selection for seafood which is a plus! The food quality is above average! Highly recommend the place for the food!
