    Panaeng Curry

I very much enjoyed my meal from Blue Mango. Starting with tofu fresh rolls: tasted great but the tofu was fried. I would have preferred steamed but wasn't given an option - next time I'll ask for steamed. I feel that the fresh rolls are missing a flavor - maybe mint? Delicious either way. The peanut dipping sauce is phenomenal! The panaeng curry is delicious! Also ordered tofu and it came fried. I prefer steamed because it soaks up the flavor but again, I'll specify next time. Tons of tofu. This $17 meal is definitely enough to feed two! The curry flavor is amazing. It's quite spicy. The online menu says it's medium, but since I was given an option I ordered mild, but I think it came medium any way. I like spicy but just a warning for those who can't handle ;) lots of veggies and rice on the side. I ordered for delivery. It was estimated 20-50 minutes, it came in 54 minutes on a Wednesday evening. The driver was super nice. I'll definitely eat in house next to get a feel for the ambiance and try more basic dishes like pad thai or pad seew.

Be prepared for extremely long wait times. Our party of 3 went for dinner and we have to wait almost an hour for our food to arrive. They brought out each person's entree at different times, which made it awkward for some people to eat while ours just waited around. In my option the portions were a bit too small for the price. I really wanted to like this place as they serve halal food.

    Thai fried rice with tofu

Hands down, the best Thai food I've eaten in Michigan. We were sat right away at a super cute four top. Service was impeccable, and the food was spectacular. We started with tofu spring rolls and fried tofu. The fried tofu was crispy on the outside and melt in your mouth silky goodness on the inside. The spring rolls were balanced and enjoyable. Then the main dishes came out. I got the Thai fried rice with tofu and it was wonderful. Perfect amount of vegetables and tofu to rice ratio. Everyone at the table enjoyed every bite of food they had, from the peanut curry to the garlic fried rice to the pad broccoli. Seriously good eats for sure! And the staff were excellent. Do yourself abd everyone you know a favor and try this place! You will not be disappointed.

Super cute place- wall of flowers, comfy couch seating. Very pleasant, attentive waitstaff. Quick service and good food. Crab rangoons very super yummy with creamy filling. Drunken noodles were outstanding!

Tried this place for lunch and super cute vibe inside! Loved the seating and decor. And service was absolutely excellent. They have an extensive menu and great lunch specials. Soup was my favorite part by far. Great taste. Was served with a salad. The entree was decent sized but the flavor was meh. The bathroom also not super clean.

Space looks lively, modern and pretty, overall taste for the price point is subpar at best. Would NOT return here to eat Thai food. It is not authentic Thai or even taste that great. Don't bring the friends or dates if they even remotely appreciate good Thai food. Service is generally good around 4/5. The folks are pleasant and nice with serving us our drinks during a busy Saturday. The napkin folding is pretty cute. They hurried us out to accommodate a larger party. Food quality 2/5 - The only good one was the shrimp roll that tasted like those bulk rolls that you buy and just pour in typical sauce that is nothing outstanding. - The Shrimp Rolls 5 Piece which was deep fried shrimp and ground chicken wrapped accompanied with sweet chili sauce. If you told me they got it store bought and just re-heated it I can believe you. It was nothing special. - The shrimp pad thai is not taste good - it looks so sad and did not have much flavor at all. Frankly did not taste good. I left about 80% of it on the plate. - The Tom Yum soup did not taste even remotely close to what a Tom Yum should taste like. Really lacking in flavor. - Tom Kha Soup also didn't taste like what a tom kha soup should even taste like. - Mango Sticky Rice was disgusting - the mango does not taste good at all and the rice was tasteless. - Hot jasmine tea, this is served in a nice look pot and tasted alright. - Ice coffee - wouldn't get it again. They give a bad name to authentic and even Americanized Thai food. I hope they take a hard look at their food flavors. Restroom: Yes; it is a bit difficult to reach if you require more space to walk or have a large wheelchair. (until they remove all their supplies from the hallway)

The food is great, but oh man they're not playing around with the spice levels. I did get hot (not Thai hot), and it's enough to bring a bit of sweat, which I love. It's not enough to mute the flavor, but it's strong and it lingers on your lips. I ordered shrimp, fully expecting to be screwed on the number of shrimp(a recurring theme in my life) - But there was a decent number, and when I chopped them up enough to work for the dish. Overall, a solid experience. I'll definitely be stopping by in person some day.

I don't know if they're having an off night or something, but the food was so bad no one finished their meal. The spring rolls taste like coleslaw, the pad Thai has zero flavor and it smells like wet hay, and the wonton soup tasted like chicken water. I honestly can't believe how terrible it was. My MIL said the curry was good (that's why I gave 2 stars), but she asked for no spice and it was quite the opposite so she couldn't eat much. We spent almost $90 on this takeout meal and it was so incredibly disappointing I can't justify ever eating here again.

I liked the question "what Spicy level do you want ... (mild/medium/spicy)" for each dish. Decent sized portions and tasty food. The many and varied Pad Thai plates beckoned and we tried the omlette Pad Thai which was delicious and piping hot. Chicken Tom Yum soup and shrimp fried rice also were pleasurable. The atmosphere is really casual - the layout is more of a cafe than a formal dining room. I would definitely return and with friends.

To start, we got moo krob (deep fried pork belly) which is the Thai version of Chinese siu yook. I have to say, I like siu yook so much more - it's a lot more flavorful having been marinated with five spice and served with delicious sweet hoisin sauce for dipping. The pork here was bland and the sauce (fish sauce based) was pretty one note. For my entree, I got rad na (rice noodles with gravy, Chinese broccoli, carrots, and choice of meat - I got pork) which was one of the best I've ever had! They used fresh rice noodles and sautéed it properly to give it the "wok hei" (wok-seared flavor). The gravy was deep and flavorful and the portion size was very good. If everything else was as good as my entree, I'd give this restaurant 5 stars. Unfortunately, my mom's Kao mun gai (steamed chicken with rice and "special sauce") was awful. She asked if the dish had any spice because she can't do spicy, and the server said no, so she decided she'd try it. The chicken was way overcooked and dry, with no flavor at all. The sauce, the only thing providing flavor and moisture, was spicy so that she couldn't eat it. We asked if there was any sauce she could get instead that wasn't spicy, and they said no, but they can give us a bottle of soy sauce. So my mom used some of that, and also took some of my rad na gravy. But because the chicken was so dry and bland, it was beyond saving. My dad got the Thai basil fried rice, mild spice. It was definitely hotter than other Thai restaurants' mild, and my dad said the spice overwhelmed the other flavors. I tried some of it and it was not bad, but nothing remarkable. They told us that traditionally, it's served with the rice on the side, which was strange to me because then it's not fried rice - it's sautéed meat and veggies with rice on the side. I am curious about how some of the other dishes taste here, but it's a shame that 3/4 of the things we ordered were mediocre to downright bad. While I enjoyed my entree, I felt bad my parents didn't enjoy their food.

Far East Chinese & Thai Food is FAR OUT and double good!…read more My office ordered lunch here for me and my boss' birthday today, and not only was the restaurant easy to communicate with regarding the large order, but the food was super dope as well. I ordered the Pad See Yu, and it was stupid good. The sauce had a hint of sweetness to it, and a healthy portion of beef, shrimp, chicken and pork. I didn't feel "cheated out" on anything like many other restaurants leave you feeling on combo dishes like this (see the photo). The dumplings come in 6, and we ordered both the steamed and pan fried. I failed to procure a photo of them, but these are the old school pot stickers - thicker dough and well made. Depending upon your mood, I could suggest either the steamed or the fried, but steamed is probably my fav. The egg rolls were crunchy and were not overly oiled, which means this restaurant cares enough to change their fry oil, ensuring that the guest has a better meal, rather than trying to stretch every last drop of an oil batch. I don't remember what everyone else got, but there were no complaints from the varied dishes I DO remember - Beef & Broccoli, Shrimp Egg Foo Young, Kung Pau and more. I'll most certainly be coming to this establishment again in the near future, and couldn't recommend to you more ordering here yourself.
