    Bread, fried eggs and bacon

My review is for breakfast only, and I compared it to the Lunch Box, which is just a few steps away. (We ate there the day before) Eggs were not fried as long, bacon was slightly crispy, and the piece of bread was bigger. My wife got pancakes, and they were good. Glass of cold milk was 1.50€

A few friends and I were staying in Vernazza, Cinque Terre for a couple days, decided to head down to the town/beach, and was looking for a good place for lunch. It was pretty hard for us to find somewhere that had reasonable prices and wasn't overcrowded. After making the suggestion to go a little further into town to find somewhere, we stumbled upon the Blue Marlin Bar. This restaurant was a very cute, casual joint. We had a friendly server who was always around when we needed her. There were a lot of tasty-looking options on the menu, and I decided to go with the Ham and mozzarella sandwich. It was really good, especially paired with what I think is the most AMAZING daiquiri I have ever had! Like seriously, I was in love y'all. You could get the strawberry daiquiri regular or with cut up fruit added for one Euro more (which is what I went with.) It was just so fresh....My Texas friends were pretty excited to see that they had margaritas on the menu, which looked pretty great as well. I also tried some of my friends pizza, can't remember what it was but it was colorful with vegetables, and was a great option too. Definitely a good place to go to get a bit out of the tourist zone, and is right by the beach!

Nice and cozy place in town located very closely to the train station. Very friendly staff it is a nice place to go and hangout. There were lots of locals there as well and not just tourist. My guesthouse actually recommended this place to go eat and drink at. They have a variety of foods and a large selection of wine and drinks. Food prices were around 10-15 euros and a house wine was 4 euros. It closed down for the season this week and should re open again when winter is done. I wasn't able to eat but just had some wine and like most of Italian wines it was amazing. their pizzas did look quite good and large. Everyone eating there seemed very happy. There are also two parts to the place. One section you can sit down and eat and the other section is the bar. When i come back to Vernazza I definitely want to go back there for both food and drjnk

    Chocolate cake and iced coffee

Had a lovely morning iced coffee here (served in a wine glass which was fun hah) and a piece of chocolate cake. Locals and tourists both coming in which is always a good sign. Nice outdoor tables along the main stretch made for some great people watching. Service was pleasant and attentive.

We loved the PESTO on anything! Pesto bruschetta, the spritz, the coffee, croissants, "American" breakfast (eggs and focaccia-so good), tuna salads... everything was so refreshing and our go to place when we were just wanting something to hold us over or fuel up for a few hours. Loved the outdoor seating and the staff speaks great English.

Great place to enjoy wine, beer or great pizza after hiking the Cinque Terre trails. The house white was nice, slightly sweet and refreshing, and the pizza excellent.

Bellini of blended frozen peaches and prosecco with a margarita in the background.

Best croissant of my life--even better than any pastry I had in France. Delicious cappuccino as well. I highly recommend this cafe!

Everything we tried was delicious, and appealed to me more than the super-touristy spots further down the road (though obviously most of the clientele here are also tourists). Prices seemed reasonable for the amount/quantity of food. Most importantly, Il Parata sells toilet paper, which proved hard to come by in Vernazza. Be sure to arrive before 5pm if you want food (outside of cannolis, which were available later).

He was so passionate about each pastry and dish which makes all the difference. Some chefs are just robotically serving up something to make money, but once in a while you come across the few special ones who are crafting their passion into an experience of flavor - they care about the customer, they care about the food, they want to see smiles and make your day memorable. They create an atmosphere out of their own infectious energy. These artists are truly making the world a better place and I can definitely say that about this establishment. They served this pistachio cannoli which was loaded with ricotta and actual pistachio flavor touched with orange, which was the best cannoli we had through a month of gluttonous Italian adventure. Their pistachio croissant matched the greatness and in fact was even better than any that we found in France! The berry panna cotta was also perfectly balanced being quite the treat yet clean feeling; the trademark Cinque Terre pesto gnocchi of course hit the spot; and the walnut ravioli sheesh what flavor as well as unique factor - dare I say, I even tasted a hint of hazelnut. If you go to Cinque Terre they say have have to go to Vernazza, and if you go to Vernazza I'm saying you have to visit Il Pirata. It's a little peace away from the madness tucked into the top of the street. They will treat you right
